We specialize in the Transfer of Video Tapes (Home Videos, Sporting Events, Weddings, Birthdays, etc.) in most formats to a media of your choosing. Most commonly, customers choose to transfer their tapes to DVD or Portable Hard Drive.

If you are local to the DFW area, we will schedule a free pickup and delivery for all of your tapes. If you are outside of DFW, we can provide you with a secure mailing address to send your tapes where they are cared for 24 hours/​day.

Mercury Editing also provides Creative Editing services. Utilizing the latest editing and graphical animation software, our professionals can customize your video in to anything your heart desires using music, special effects and more!

To further keep the customer at ease, Mercury Editing will back up your entire video collection for a full 12 months for free after purchase. Should your movies become damaged or lost.

History

Established in 2014.

This business was founded, and is currently operated ²⁴⁄₇ by it’s owner. After spending the past 20 years in videography and editing as a hobby, the owner decided it was time to research how to digitally preserve his own video collection before mold and decay got the best of his collection. After months of research and work, he successfully completed the transfer of his collection. A passion for preservation set in, and a business venture was set-​forth to pass on a service to as many individuals and families as possible, preserving their own memories for generations to come.

After a little less than a year in-​business, Mercury Editing has helped preserve videos for countless families at an affordable price.

Business Owner

In the late 1990’s, Dan’s focus was to capture moments on video that would ultimately express a certain mood and energy to the viewer. He realized that most people don’t want to sit and watch a 3-​hour long home video. But if that video can be condensed with the right elements of color and sound, suddenly that same content becomes interesting. Today, his mission is to capture that energy for every customer the same way he was able to capture his own.
