Made By Sue did my wedding dress alterations. The dress turned out fabulous & it fit like a glove! I also borrowed a slip from the store that saved me money by not cutting the bottom of the dress. Made By Sue will always be a fond memory from my wedding!

I don’t even know where to start… SIGH
We took my daughters prom dress to Sue over 3 ½ weeks ago. (Prom is this Saturday). The dress is a full princess dress with many layers, and lots of jewels. My daughter asked her to take it in, in the bodice and she wanted the back length longer like a train than the front. We were told by Sue she should probably have it complete the following week.
Weeks came and went… I called on Monday asking for the status. I was told dresses for earlier proms came in and they worked on those. Our dress WILL be ready. I said I had to have it my daughter works Friday and the prom is Saturday.
I called Wednesday. I got the same story. I was told it would be ready that night (Wednesday) or Thursday. Again (harsher) I said prom was Saturday and they have had this damn dress for over 3 weeks.
Thursday… At 5pm I called (they close at 6). The girl who answered the phone asked me to hold. Sue gets in the phone and starts with some script, we take our time, we don’t want to rush… SHUT UP! You’ve had this dress over 3 weeks, you’re waiting to the last minute. I have to have it today, I told yall yesterday my daughter works friday. She says it will be done.
We head towards the store and get there at 5:54. They are STILL working on it. Finally she brings it out, my daughter tried it on…
1. It’s too tight in the chest
2. The back isn’t longer it’s straight across
3. It’s too short! (She’s wearing converse w the dress)
I lose it, and Sue says give it to me waving her hand to her. I yelled don’t get cocky w me and reiterated the time line of when they had it, what they said etc. she was an upright rude bitch! She ruined an expensive dress and prom is SATURDAY! My daughter broke out in hives immediately and started crying. Sue tells the girl to go get the trash she just threw out. She suggested taking some of the poof out of the dress. My daughter said no.
Sue tells us to come back in 30 min. We now have to cancel my hair appointment, my daughters eye brow wax, and her tumbling appointment.
We come back in 30 min and she has sewn the part she cut off back on. It’s acceptable but still not what my daughter wanted. She fixed the bodice.
AND SHE STILL CHARGED ME $ 64.95! She charged me! All the stress, and anxiety and the dress isn’t right and I get charged.
NEVER EVER WILL I USE Made By Sue again! Beware if you need anything done and you give it to them almost a month in advance.

Took a girl’s dress in to be let out and even spent twenty min. Discussing how to make sure it can work. Kept the dress for two weeks needing alterations and then they called to say come pick it up nothing could be done to it. No help with dress other than go buy a new dress and insinuate a diet for my normal sized daughter in front of her! Took somewhere else in grapevine and less than four days later dress was let out and fit beautifully! Had to give one star to post otherwise a zero

I cant say enough positive things about Made By Sue!!!
I took one of my favorite comforters that a had gotten a hole in it. She patched it up and you would have no clue that it ever happened and it was so much cheaper than I had ever expected.
I have also taken many pairs of jeans to be turned into capri’s and they always look so good… Like I bought them that way,
They have great customer service and the turn around time is very reasonable!
I would recommend Made By Sue to everyone. I am so thankful they are located in Keller!

I came here Dec 19^th looking for a napmat for my son. I was not greeted when I walked in (nor on my way out either). The store is very small but being it was my first time inside, I had to walk around to find the napmat section. Their selection for boys was very limited and I saw nothing that interested me. I found a college-​aged girl and asked her if there were any more mats in the back and she said no. I looked around a little more and then left. A new lady was now at the front desk and she did not say goodbye, thanks for coming in, happy holidays, nothing!
Last week I searched online and found some napmats from Made by Sue sold on Etsy. The mats shown online were different from the ones I remembered seeing in the store. On the morning of Dec. 31 I called the store to inquire about new mats and no one answered the phone. Their voicemail did not say they were closed for the holidays, but did give an email address if no one answered the phone during normal business hours. I left a message and also sent an email that day inquiring about their napmat selection. I have yet to get a phone call or email back. Their customer service has been horrible. It is a shame, because this place came highly recommended to me due to their nap mat selection. Anytime you have a customer IN STORE ready to buy, you should at least acknowledge them and try to help them! Will never come back to this shop.

I had jeans hemmed and they did a great job and were very reasonably priced. They also had a very cute store with baby gifts and nap mats.

Helpful, understanding, and quick! I took my wedding dress here after a different tailor screwed it up pretty bad and Sue was able to fix it! Very friendly people and nicely priced. I highly recommend them.
