I love this place. Even as a chain pizza restaurant, it feels like a hometown spot. I found out the owners live in Keller! They will make anything you want. Try the thin crust Buffalo Chicken pizza. You will be hooked! This is a great place to splurge! Highly recommend! I will be back.

There were dirty plates from previous people at the table next to ours and we just put our dirty plates there
The pizza was ok it wasn’t the best I liked the pepperoni rolls and the cheesesteak thing was almost sort of kinda burnt
The crust on the cookie dough pizza was flimsy at best and the cookie part didn’t taste very good either.
I won’t be coming back here
Also the music was too loud
We got there and the music soft and then about halfway through the meal it started differing in volumes then it stayed at louder than normal eating music volume the music selection is okay though

Come on guys, can we cook the pizza please! This is one of my favorite spots and thanks to some under cooked pizza, I may not get to eat it ever again! Just sad!

It’s basically a local version of CiCis, but with that Denton touch, and much much cleaner.

Yum! Good pizza and nice waiters! Pizza is all around good and dissents were great! The coke machine was having trouble, but they were kind enough to give everyone free drinks. Even when we ate all the pizza they would stock us up with more fresh pizza! All around good fast food pizza, I recommend this.

This location always has a great buffet. We used to come here quite a bit but it seems like they quit offering coupons for savings on the buffet. If they still have the coupons, I haven’t seen them recently. It’s just way overpriced to pay full retail. Even though the food (pizza and salad bar) is really good, you pay a lot for it. Wishing they would start back with the coupons!

This is better than most buffet pizza joints. Good variety, clean and well stocked. The music has been loud on both of our visits, but not to the point of being annoying.
Priced higher than a cicis, but much more edible. It’s not the best pizza out there, but it’s a step up from the competition of pizza buffets.

Pizza is just average for buffet. The Pizza Rolls are pretty good but not worth a better review… this is pretty expensive for this quality.

Incredibly disappointed! Came in w our soccer team today and was promptly told. there was no room and everything on one side was reserved until 300. We were there at 1215 & the next team came in at 100. Eight empty tables and we were turned away! We will not be back and make sure that we spread the word.

Pepperoni rolls, pepperoni rolls, pepperoni rolls. I love me some pepperoni rolls. Mmmmmm delicious… The pizza is much better than Feces (aka CiCi’s) Pizza, but alas, the salad bar is lacking.
I also like the cherry dessert pizza-​type thing, but I don’t like the chocolate dessert pizza-​type thing.

Went in on a Saturday early afternoon. Shocked at the dirty tables and the cleaning cart blocking the salad bar. Pizza was not great, lacking quality toppings and flavor. Heard an employee yell at a customer. My family, friends and I will not go back.

If there was ever a time you should «double-​down» on the blackjack table in Keller, this is the place to Double-​down on! Cause you will come up the winner in a big way!
Now I’m not sure where or how the name originated from, but the pizza was REALLY good!
At the first attempt to write this review, I was giving it a four star rating. But after I reheated up three slices I had as left over and seeing how the taste and consistency didn’t change very much, well… I was impressed!
I ordered «The Works», minus the green bell peppers. This pizza was absolutely well made and by an employee who names himself, «Living Legend». (I have the receipt to prove it.)
I was also given a complimentary cup for any soft drink while i waited. That was a nice gesture. The inside was nice and lots of TVs to keep you well entertained. They also have a small video arcade.
This is another spot I will be coming back to. Even though it’s 18 minutes from my place…

This place satified an addiction I picked up in college: Pizza Rolls. Honestly, if you’re going to DoubleDave’s, you have to get the pizza rolls. I’m typing this review and wishing I was eating pizza rolls at this very moment. Looking for a quick fix to the void in your stomach? Eat all the pizza rolls you can here.

Love this place. The pizza is always great. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

I decided to step out of my typical Tuscany pizza box tonight, and venture into chain pizza hell. I should’ve known better.
Dumb phone order taker boy, and disgustingly greasy pizza and cheese bread = never again!
Awful, and expensive at that!

I’ve been going to Double Dave’s for almost 20 years when I would visit friends at aTm. If this is what that would have been I would never have gone back. You go for the pizza rolls, they push the buffet on you which they say has pizza rolls on it. You request pizza rolls. You request them again. Then you eat the mediocre pizza and leave. Never again. If they had a zero star it would be my first.

It’s a pizza buffet… so I mean really, if you go in there expecting brilliance you’re an idiot. :)
It is really quite good for what it is. The girls at the register seemed to have more important things than work to do… but well, so did I when I was 16. They were as nice as hormonal teens can be.
Their pizza is better than CiCi’s, their salad bar is not. They’re more expensive and offer less than CiCi’s, but well, pizza IS better at Double Dave’s and that’s the draw… so 3 stars on buffet pizza, because dammit it was pretty a-​ok, but it could have been a hell of a lot warmer.

Bad pizza and rude staff. I can see why other Double Daves in DFW are closing.

I decided to review this place since I have now been a return customer three times. Double Dave’s pizza is a buffet pizza place similar to Cici’s but ten times better.
The atmosphere is comparable to Cici’s. The tables and seating are almost cabin-​like. The benches were a little uncomfortable. I am 5ft 5in tall and my feet couldn’t touch the ground because the bench seat slopes upward. However, that’s a minor issue (but something that bothers me every time I go so thought I would mention it).
They have a small salad bar with the usual toppings and dressings. They even provide those little plastic cups for Ranch dressing without giving you a hard time. That is a must have for dipping crust! They have a self serve soda fountain and tea station. (this time they were out of straws — a little weird). The pizza buffet sits along the back wall under heat lamps. They have great pizza. One of my favorites is the Alfredo & Cheese pizza. I have tried most of the types they offer and have no complaints. The advertise their Stromboli pizzas and pepperoni rolls — both of which are great. I really enjoy their Philly Cheese steak Stromboli — DELICIOUS! They also have a great dessert selection. My favorites are the apple or cherry Stromboli, cinnamon/​sugar pizza with chocolate chips, or just the plain cinnamon sugar pizza. Soooo good!
The restaurant was clean with a family atmosphere. The bathrooms were also clean and smelled good — not like most public restrooms (big pet peeve of mine). Also, they had a very small area in the back that housed arcade games and those machines you can put a quarter in and get a prize in return! Cool for the kiddos!
So if its buffet pizza night in your household — I would definitely recommend Double Dave’s over any of the other competitor. Simply Delicious!
