Delicious Mediterranean food and great atmosphere! I ordered one of the best Greek salad’s I’ve ever had! I will definitely be bringing my family here again. Our waiter was so nice and personable, too!

This is our favorite Mediterranean restaurant. Everything has been wonderful here since they opened. The food is delicious, the service is fabulous, ad the price is great. I’ve come here for lunch with coworkers, and I’ve also come in the evening and on Sunday afternoons and the service is always excellent no matter the time or day. They make the best lemon soup I’ve ever had! In fact I often come just for lemon soup and spanakopita as a light meal. Their spanakopita is delicious and flaky. The tzitziki sauce is as good as mine homemade. I’ve had many things on the menu and nothing has been bad. My favorite is moussaka, which has a hint of cinnamon to it perhaps? but the lamb is also heavenly, and perfectly seasoned. The meat is so tender it literally falls off the bone. Be sure you try the mint tea. It’s very soothing and has fresh mint leaves in it.

We are an easy sell with good Mediterranean food, but Café Medi stands out as one of the best local Med Food establishments we’ve tried. The outside has an old Keller charm, parked between a hair salon, a custom furniture maker and an art Studio on Olive Street. The building looks in need of some paint, but rather than take away it gave the ambiance an endearingly artsy quality. Inside was backlit quiet. It’s hard to describe the peaceful energy we felt inside the dining roon. Outdoor seating on a stone patio is available behind the building as well. And the FOOD. We started with Lemon Rice Soup(Avgolemono) and a Greek Salad, both of which were outstanding. I have been feeding my +1 Avgolemono for months because I fell in love with it at a little Greek Café in Denver. The best we have tasted before Café Medi was at Casablanca down the street, which was very good. But, this recipe is even more lemony and savory. For entrees, we ordered a Beef Shawerma Wrap and Vegetarian Plate, a sampler of Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Tsatziki, Falafel, Spanakopita, a green bean medley, and rice. Every item on the Veggie plate was flavorful and amazing. The Shawerma was also rich and flavorful. I found myself slowing down to chew longer because the flavor actually grew as I did. Service was top notch, attentive, upbeat, and conveyed a «yes we can» approach to customers. There was a large private party on the patio when we were there, so dining room staff was stretched thin. We noticed no gap in service or delays in our food being delivered. Café Medi is a must-visit for your Mediterranean fix. Highly recommended!

What a treat for my wife and I. We are a fan of Mediterranean of food and this place satisfied our craving! The outside might not appeal to people but as they say, «dont judge a book by its cover!» Ambiance inside was relaxing, service was great! Our waiter Chris took care of us promptly and always checked on us. The food was delicious! We got the Souvlaki Chicken and Beef, and the Kafta. also we ordered some Tzatziki for the pita bread thats complementary… and cant forget about the baklava(can you tell we love this food) Overall superb, cant wait to go back once our mediterranean craving comes around again!

We have been big fans of Café Medi for years, and used to make the trek occasionally to the Hurst location. We now frequent the Keller location and it’s a solid hit every time. We were just there the other night and it struck me how rare it is to have a consistently great experience somewhere, every time, with the food, the people and the atmosphere. That night was no exception! Some of our favorites on the menu: lemon rice soup, meza plate(hummus, tzatziki and babaganoush), tabbouli, falafel, gyro and mixed grill(souvlaki chicken, beef and kefta kabob). The pita is always warm and plentiful. There are some mixed reviews on here for the green beans that accompany many of the entrees, but I think they’re divine; garlicky and flavorful. Another huge plus is the beautiful backyard patio(it’s truly a backyard, as this is a former residence in Old Town Keller), which is such a rare and wonderful find in this area. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is so good. Pay them a visit – you won’t be disappointed!

We finally had the opportunity to visit here in person. We’ve ordered takeout and always have been impressed. Our visit was the week of Christmas, so it was decorated with all kinds of festive goodies including twinkle lights. A lovely little atmosphere to spend the evening. Our wait staff was fabulous. About as friendly with us and the kids, as I could possibly imagine. And when our little guy started to have a meltdown, she was prepared with our check before we even had the fear of a two year old struck into our hearts. She must be a mom ;). The food… let’s talk. Hubby thought his was OK, and he’ll probably order something different next time. I ordered the cabbage roles(special, but soon to be added to menu), and they were DIVINE! Like super yummy, and crave-worthy. Plenty of food in the portions, enough so that I was able to take a bit home. We ordered the kids a pita pizza(can’t recall what it was called), and it was oddly messy for them. More of a teenager thing than something I’ll order for my toddlers next time. They had plenty of other kids options though, so that won’t deter us at all. We’ll definitely be back. This little gem is close to home, a cool atmosphere in the heart of old Keller, and is super super yummy(my opinion weighs more than my husband’s). Let me know what kind of experience you have!

Came here with my husband and another couple for an early lunch. The outside of the building is very eccentric, so I was excited to see what was in store for us. We were warmly greeted by our waitress and ordered an appetizer of hummus and pita bread, which arrived promptly. The restaurant was not very crowded and our wait for lunch took only about 15 minutes. My meal was tasty, however it could have used a bit more salt to bring out the flavor of the chicken. I try to not add any seasoning to my meals so that I can give a fair assessment of the taste, but I had to break down and give my wrap a heavy shake of salt. My husband had a gyro and although he noted it was small, he devoured it without hesitation. The other couple also had a gyro and a Greek salad, which they enjoyed. Our meal was reasonably priced and under $ 25 with the tip. I will most certainly visit again when I’m in the area!

The atmosphere is positively lovely. It’s located on a quiet street, and the staff is pleasant. It’s a touch overpriced but for the calm unique environment, we were satisfied. You’ll find the owner and family members working here and every time I eat here I want to move to Greece.

I’ve lived in Keller for a year… literally a 2 minute drive from Café Medi and had no clue it was there until a friend of mine suggested we try it out since it was BYOB. Can I just tell you how happy I am that I discovered this place. I’m a big fan of Devivo’s which is right across the street from this place yet I get tired of eating tortellini pasta every week haha. My friend and I split a half order of hummus and the pita bread was delicious! I ordered the moussaka which was interesting but tasted amazing! I look forward to coming here more often, especially since its so close to home

Saw the good reviews on here so I decided to give it a whirl. The location is in a building that looks like a house. There was only one other table so the service was perfect. The inside is decorated really cute and the atmosphere is cozy. I definitely felt a Mediterranean vibe. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the vegetarian platter for an appetizer which included hummus, falafel, tzatziki, dolmas, babaghanoosh, and spanakopita. The falafel was perfect and the dolmas had wonderfully seasoned rice. The hummus was super fresh. What a delicious appetizer! For my entrée I got the souvlaki chicken. I was stuffed from the appetizer, so I only picked at it but it was really good. The chicken was grilled and seasoned perfectly, the rice was fresh, and the grilled onions and peppers were good. I will definitely go back.

A friend and I wanted to go to a reasonably priced restaurant that was also BYOB. Based on the picture of the exterior I was a little hesitant but decided not to judge a book by it’s cover. Café Medi looks like a small restaurant from the outside but when you walk in its filled with live jazz music and booths and tables. We sat in a booth and was immediately assisted. The waitress assisted with opening our bottle of wine immediately and providing our glasses. Not long after my friend and I decided to split a half order of hummus(half order was perfect to share between two people as an appetizer). I ordered the Shawerma with a side of cream of mushroom. My food was delicious and a good size portion. Prices were above average but compared to other Mediterranean restaurants it was similar in price. We stayed for a little over two hrs to eat and finish our wine and at no point did we ever feel rushed.

I hated the food. I ordered a kabob and got some hamburger stick. It tastes gross. I couldn’t eat it. My husband got this weird noodle lasagna. It was a macaroni lasagna ?? Calamari was fishy tasting not very good, frozen and small. The pita bread was really very good. The best i ever ate. I found the server not helpful on my selection. I ordered a kabob. Who calls hamburger on a stick a kabob? Guess you gotta like greek food. I got it to go for the dog. The patio was very nice. But i left this place hungry.

When we are craving gyros and hummus, Café Medi is our go to place. We used drive all the way to the Hurst location( ), but Keller is oh so convenient, and such a nice outdoor dining space too. It’s out back, so no road traffic noises. We came by for dinner on a cool Saturday evening, perfect for sitting outside. Although we were initially steered towards indoor seating, we requested outdoor. There was a fairly large private party out back, so perhaps that was the reason. In addition to the cool temps, we were also rewarded with live music from a one-man band. Did not catch his name, but he was pretty good. Mostly older stuff(Beatles, Eagles, Billy Joel, etc.), which suits us fine. We started out with the Meza Plate appetizer, which has hummus, tzatziki, babaghanoosh and some pickles($ 8). Very good. We split a gyro plate($ 13), which was plenty for our two lite appetites. The gyro meat(beef and lamb) is cut from a vertical spit, as evidenced by browned on one side, not the other. There was plenty of warm pita bread, to perfectly compliment the food. As always, service was very good. We have eaten here several times, and I’m a bit baffled as to why I have not written a review for this location. An oversight on my part no doubt. Bottom line: If you are craving Greek and/or Mediterranean, don’t miss this Keller gem! PS. Forgot to add BYOB.

I can’t believe this is the first time I have been here I drove past it 1000 times. My friends and I ordered the vegetarian plate as an appetizer and it came with spanakopita, hummus, pita, stuffed grape leaves, and falafel. Every bit of this dish was delicious and I could’ve made a meal out of the hummus and pita. For my meal I chose the falafel pita wrap and fries. It was fresh, tasty, and filling. I also sampled my friends bowl of soup she chose for lunch which was a lemon chicken soup that I cannot wait to get next time I’m there and my other friend had the marinated chicken kebabs I sampled them also and they were mouthwatering good. I can’t wait to go back again!

I am in love with this restaurant! We went for dinner last weekend Sunday evening. We had tried to go the night before but there was no parking! Sunday evening they still had a good crowd going but we were able to get in and seated in a booth immediately. First impression was that this was a well-loved place that has a good amount of regulars. It is very comfortable and relaxed, though it is nice. If that makes sense. It feels like some place you would be recognized and remembered after a few visits. Very welcoming. We started with pita and hummus, which was very good. The hummus was fresh tasting and had the perfect amount of oil and spice. I ordered shawerma combo so that I could try both their beef and chicken. It came with either soup or salad as well as rice and veggies. I opted for the lemon rice soup. I had had it before up in Minnesota and remember loving it so I was excited to see that they had it here. It did not disappoint. I would describe it as having a vibrant taste. So good! My entrée was just as good — the beef and chicken were both delicious. I used leftover pita from our hummus to make little shawerma tacos. The rice was good, but the veggies. Oh the veggies. Green beans and tomato goodness, y’all. I could eat a vat of that alone! My husband got the mixed grill. He was happy with the souvlaki chicken and beef, but didn’t really care for the kefta kabob. We left full and with PLENTY of leftovers. I think in total we paid around $ 30 so for the amount of food and the quality we did good. We will definitely be going back to Café Medi. We had such a good experience, and we mentioned how good the food was several times after leaving. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

The pita bread is delicious! The lamb is amazing! I’d give this place five stars, but I didn’t know it was BYOB, so I had to stick with water. I just wanted some wine!!! Haha

Pleasantly surprised with how DELISH this place is. It’s in an old house so we saw kids in soccer uniforms to couples on dates. There was even a guy on a saxophone. We were tempted to dance! I ordered the grilled lamb and wow it was cooked to perfection — medium rare. The rice was perfect. I had THE freshest Greek salad I’ve had in a long time. The only negative is that the owners could stand to be a little more friendly — never saw them smile once. However, our server was really great. We will be back!

Excellent food. Warm pita bread when you sit down. The flaming cheese is amazing, a bit to much lemon juice for my taste, but good nonetheless. The jumbo shrimp were juicy and flavorful. The moussaka was like a beef pillow of goodness. Everything just tasted fresh. Wait staff were attentive and always on top of everything.

My wife and I had heard many good things about Café Medi, so last Sunday after church we dropped in for lunch. We can’t wait to join them for dinner sometime soon! My wife enjoyed her Greek salad. I tried the tomato basil soup for my appetizer and it was very good, with just the right amount of basil to define the flavor. For my entrée I ordered the Pastisio — a Greek style lasagna layered with beef, Béchamel(white cream sauce) and marinara sauce. It was absolutely delicious. We definitely plan to join them for dinner sometime soon. Note that Café Medi is BYOB — fine by me. I will update my review soon!

Café Medi is our favorite place to take out of towers. The food is always well presented and delicious. Service is friendly without being overbearing. Salads áre fresh, and the appetizers are plentiful. My favorite is the lamb solvaki, but others love cabbage rolls and other specialities.
