My rating is for Dr Burke and his immediate medical staff. Him and the practitioners are awesome. Downfalls are appointment times not being available for follow-ups. Also I have to say over the past 3 years the office staff and medical assistants has gone downhill. My entire family of 4 has been going to Burke for 10 years. Was so grateful to have him and his staff around until… about like I said 3 years ago. I’m not sure what’s up with the appointments but makes sense to assume his staff is making too many in too small a time frame. I’m sure this is Burke’s idea. Maybe he’s gotten greedy and doesn’t care how long the patient waits in the waiting room lobby or how soon they get an appointment.

Well, this was a facility that I have used, forever… until now. First off, I called in September to schedule a regular physical. I didn’t expect to see the doctor right away, you know, within a month, was what I was thinking. Well… They didn’t have any openings until JANUARY… JANUARY… so I took it, then they put me on the ‘CANCELLATIONLIST’ in case something came up earlier. I do not have a job that I can just take off last minute so I was crazy pleased to get a call from them later that afternoon for an early October appt(or rather 2 appts, since you have to go back twice– once for blood draw, etc. and then one for the follow up). I was psyched(as much as you can be about a physical). But… then… I had to call in to try to reschedule the 2nd appt. due to an unforeseeable event(we’re talking I just had to move it back 15 min). THEYDIDN’T EVENHAVE A RECORDTHATTHEYRESCHEDULEDME! AND, the gal asked me if I spoke to anyone… well, yes, I said, I did because I had the two dates already recorded to TAKEOFFWORK. No, really, I just make up appts. show up and expect to be seen. Frustrated… I will now seek another physician because apparently they are too busy to accommodate me even with their mistake.
