I wasn’t thrilled with the falafel salad or the tahini dressing but maybe it was just me. The fries that my daughter had were good and the environment was nice. I feel like the big fat juicy sandwiches/​burgers are probably where the real flavor is at!

Sandwiches are good. French fries are so short they are very hard to eat they used to be good but the last few times we been very upset about the fries and I love my fries. so we have been going less. Longer time between visits

Loved this place!!! They need to open more! We found a parking place in the center of Keene and saw the Fritz sign. We walked in and were sold immediately by the food prep and menu. I ordered a Cobb salad and added grilled chicken. My friend ordered a panini and we split a small fritz. The salad was fresh, crisp and delicious! I loved how it’s served in a bowl within a bigger bowl so you can mix it up with your dressing. I had the buttermilk ranch dressing that was creamy and flavorful. My friend loved her sandwich and she ate it before I finished my salad! I never even got a photo of it! The fritz were amazing! I love how fresh they were, perfect temperature, no grease and they didn’t need any dipping sauce. A small was plenty for two to share. This place is worth a trip to Keene, NH which is a hidden gem.

Went at about noon on a saturday, and though it was a little busy, the staff was moving at an absolutely glacial pace. It took my group more than 20 minutes to get 3 sandwiches. We could see the employees literally standing around doing nothing, even though our group and several others had ordered already.
On the bright side, the food (especially the fries) were very tasty. I would be willing to give it another chance, if I didn’t have anywhere to be afterwards.

Very unhappy with the sandwich I ordered today. The ½ sandwich I ordered was not worth the $ 5 I spent on it. One piece of tomato three tiny strips of basil and a smudge of balsamic slapped between two pieces of under toasted bread. I could have gotten a more flavorful sandwich at a grocery store pre made deli display.
Will not be returning.

My colleagues loved their burgers and sandwiches! Roastbeef with carmelized onions was the fav. Fries and sauce options were great. It took me 10min to decide! I loved the tomato bisque soup with fresh bread. Salad was a little pricey, but I loaded it up anf it was huge. Great place for food and the staff is friendly too.

I use to love this place. I understand it has new owners. They should bring back the music and the delivery.

Staff is friendly and attentive, the fries are awesome and never soggy. The dipping sauces all go great with the fries. They have other things on the menu as well, typical pub fare with a few creative variations. The paninis are consistently good as well. Will definitely be coming back.

Love eating here! The service can be pretty slow but the staff is nice and the food is worth the wait. They have local options and the food always tastes fresh. The atmosphere is nice but I’d avoid going here on open night mic night. (it gets really loud) The fries are a little overrated, they’re very hard and over priced. Sauce portions are very small (nearly $ 1 for one tiny cup of sauce that will only last you a handful of fries) They no longer offer the panini or burger specials so its even less affordable than it used to be.

It took awhile to get out food (family of 4), 3 other groups that ordered after us got their food first. Then we had to send 2 back because they were not made correctly. The sandwiches tasted great. Everyone raves about the fries, a large is almost $ 7, but ours were hard as a rock. We told the server and they said «yea, these seem overcooked» and then he walked away and that was that. The only non-​mayo sauces for the fries are ketchup or BBQ. The dips were really good, but I probably chipped a tooth biting into those fries. One of the staff apologized for the service, it was the beginning of summer in a college town so the staff was brand new, and everyone was very nice, but still not a great experience.

Food was okay, nothing special. Staff was friendly enough, place was pretty dead. Inside the décor was pretty scatter brained, but I’m guessing that’s more for the local market.

The Belgian frites (French fries) with their take on the traditional dip is superb. The falafel roll up isn’t the worst that I have had, but I found it having too much lettuce, little tomato, too thin on the tahini and the falafel itself not the crispy exterior with fluffy interior that I search for. I prefer the mid-​eastern tradition of pickles, tahini and perhaps labneh. In Isreal, it is made with french fries, perhaps a «menu tour» of serving styles is a menu option. The beer selection features some locals. Suggestion, replace the old cardboard boxes that hold your sauces and dips. They are past their prime and I almost left because of it. Get a new couch and ask a couple of repeat customers what is charming and what is past it’s prime in the seating area. You have a clever and tasty selection of food but what the passers by see through the plate glass could be keeping them away.

I may have just had the best salad I’ve ever had… now it could be that it was the height of the produce season in NH, but still…

Atomsphere is a little odd, they have a pizza and sub shop ordering area, some laying areas with curtains, blah blah blah weird. If you love mayo with fries then Fritz is your guy. If you love burgers with grease well bon a petite. All kidding aside this place is alright, i would go here before going to Wendy’s or McDonalds. I have got salads that had greens that weren’t washed and burgers that were not cooked enough to remove the water from them and avoid soaking the crap out of my bun. I like the concept of the fry dips but feel like most of them are mayo based which makes them, similiarly to the rest of the establishment, weird. The end

Belgien frites are delicious, the sandwiches are pretty good. The roast beef one with horseradish is my favorite. Get the pineapple curry dipping sauce. Falafel is inconsistent, but they do make it from scratch. They have cold beer too. I only wish they would start serving poutine. Why is no one doing this in Monadnock? They even have the ends of meat from the sandwiches they could make an all kinds gravy that would be mind blowing. All you need is cheese curds.

Is it a bar? A restaurant? A bordello? Does it matter?
Thank you Unilocal!GF and I were in Keene, searching for something tasty to eat. we looked on Unilocal for something with good reviews, and found Fritz!
Upon entering, you are instantly met by a wacky sense of style… It feels like a lounge, lots of odd chairs, and drapey bits, and… well, you need to see it.
The young man prepping salads greeted us, and seeing instantly that we were newbies, gave us the run-​down. Where to find the drinks, where to order, all the important stuff.
We each had salads; Mine was the Asian (with Chicken,) she ordered the Falafel. Fresh, tasty, well made. Fantastic.
All in all, a wonderful little restaurant, a great experience. 5 Stars!

My daughter just finished her sophomore year at Keene State and I’m here to do the heavy lifting, as in furniture. So we need some nourishment and she suggests Fritz. Inside, it’s what I would call «hippyish» with nooks and crannies to sit in with tents draped overhead. More of a bohemian coffee shop look than the café type look… whatever, it’s a college town.
You walk up to the counter and place your order. Spolier alert, you are requested to bus your own tables. They give you a number a la Panera and pretty soon, your food is delivered.
There are lots of sandwiches on the menu but we both opted for salads. Big bowls of fresh greens, lots of carrots and tomatoes and other stuff depending on which salad you ordered.
The burgers (which we did not eat) come with options for regular, local or veggie. Nice touch.
FRIES: they are listed as Belgian Fries. Now someone more cosmopolitan than myself might know what this means. We were clueless, so I asked. They are blanched first, then fried. So we ordered some with 2 different dipping sauces (there is a huge selection of these). They are freakin’ awesome. Worth coming in just for the fries.
Bottom Line: Salads were OK. Mine was unremarkable. Service is pretty much non-​existent. Place was clean. GO FOR THE FRIES.

The Allen Salad was amazing! Best salad I’ve ever had, fun place, reasonably priced and neat décor’. We’ll be back!

GREAT fries and the falafel sandwich is wicked good. Good quality beers, always busy, live music, great location, sassy service… what more could you ask for?
Try the Sweet Mango Mayo on your fries… ridunkulous.
