Solid pizza. Thin and crispy — New York style — my favorite! We had one with pepperoni, peppers, and onions. yummmm! If you haven’t had that combo, please try it, its amazinggggg :) We also got an order of their breadsticks and garlic cheese dip. You MUST get the dip. Do ittttt, thank me later ;)

Without a doubt a classic Keego Italian eatery with consistent quality and friendly service. I love this place! Gino, Marco and Rocco know the restaurant business very well and always aim to please. They are also very community oriented and often donate and help and host when needed. Love the antipasto salad and their pizza is to die for! Did I mention how Tasty their minestrone soup is? Get over here and see for yourself why Ginos is the best!

Let’s start with the positive. Breadsticks were very good. Service with a smile. The«house» dressing was good but don’t think it was made in this«house». Spaghetti was awful. Would not go back

3.5 stars — I have been going to this place since I was a kid, but had not been back in over a decade. I decided to go back last week when my pregnant wife had a garlic bread craving. I was shocked and happy to see that nothing has really changed. They still have some of the best garlic bread in Detroit. It is not too greasy or salty, and the garlic flavor is spot on. The food is typical Italian restaurant fare. My standby is the gnocchi, but the pizza is also solid. There is also a nice bar area, and a patio with live music on the weekend. There are places like this in everyone neighborhood, so it may not be something you should go out of your way to try. However, if you find yourself in the area, I would encourage you to pop in for a solid Italian meal in a truly local joint.

I’m not sure if we just came on a bad night, but after reading great reviews on the pizza, we had to try it. My boyfriend and I both thought it wasn’t good. No flavor and soggy. The décor was awful. But the positive outcome was their free breadsticks– those were delicious! Sadly we won’t be returning though.

The service was great, and the food was terrific. It was very fast to get everything we wanted. If we had one down in Tennessee, I would gladly go to it more often.

Awesome pizza and peroni beer on tap. It can’t get better. To keep things honest pizza is all I ever get here so it’s all I can recommend. However, if you want pizza skip the chains and go here!

Gino’s is a local institution! Nothing beats a Ginos Pizza with a special salad and breadsticks. Gino also does an awful lot for the community and has employed hundreds of local kids throughout the years. You can also never go wrong with one of the daily specials, like Roccos chicken Rollotini. Great family, service and food.

This is a really nice little gem. The décor and furniture may be a little outdate but they have something that never goes out of style: great service and great food. Their breadsticks are pretty good, they are incredibly good if you order their garlic paste with the breadsticks. Their bruschetta is pretty good for appetizer and so is their Greek salad. LOTS of flavor. Their pizza is good but their Italian dishes is what they really do well. Their chicken Marsala is the best I’ve had in Michigan. Great flavor without being overpowering and not so much food you get too stuffed. The only dessert I’ve tried is their cannoli which I thought was quite good. Not crunchy hard just about the right texture. We have been here several times and we have had really good service every time.

Gino’ is the old neighborhood place that is hard to find, So many restaurants now are cookie cutter chains. Gino’s has a nice bar with TV’s. I had the chicken parmigiana which was huge with a great tasty sauce. The pizza and salad is always the best.

Ok. I understand this place has been open forever, and people love to come here and meet up with old friends. But does that mean they have terrific homemade pasta and Italian food? Absolutely not. Pasta sauces are bland and most likely from canned ingredients. Is it edible? Yes. Portions are good. Atmosphere is very lack luster, and out dated. If your going to dine-in. Sit in the bar area, seems much cleaner That being said the pizza, breadsticks and salad are the way to go!

The pizza is good enough but I was very disappointed to find out that all of their pasta(along with their calamari) is ordered in/frozen instead of homemade. I’m quite sure that their desserts are frozen too. Their bread sticks aren’t very good either. They remind me of the ones they have at Little Caesar’s. If not for their pizza, I would only give them 1 star.

Great pizza. Bread is to die for. Salads good with excellent dressing. Pasta can sometimes be a little over cooked. Chicken and meat dishes all excellent.

I have never written a review in the 50 years that I have been around, but I felt compelled to do so here. We moved to White Lake a year and a half ago, and I have passed by Gino’s a number of times. There always seemed to be a large amount of business, so I decided it was time to give it a try. I am very glad we did. We ordered pizza and breadsticks. Our servers name was Kelsey, she was exactly what you would hope for, very welcoming and up beat. She made us feel very comfortable, and took care of us smiling the entire time. The food was served quickly, and the pizza was up in the best I have had. We will without a doubt come back to try other dishes, as everything we saw looked delicious.

Gino’s hits the spot. A local favorite of mine, been coming here since I needed a booster seat. This is a very relaxed and causal atmosphere, they have a full bar but you should bring the whole family here with no worries. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There’s 2 ways to dine here at Gino’s, you can go a little bit fancy and order off their specials menu, steak, seafood etc… or you can do what I usually do and make it a cheap night out by spiting a pizza and salad with a friend or two. The sausage Pizza is very delicious, salad and bread sticks are too. Other then that I would say the Veal or Chicken Parm is very yummy and huge, meat raviolis are also very good, the tomato sauce is great so I would guess any pasta dish would be also. I appreciate that they don’t nickle and dime you for every little thing here, sure Blue Cheese dressing probably cost a bit extra but they always seem to bring out the bread sticks and a bowl or those little butter patties even though we only ordered a Med pizza and a personal salad to split. Head on in and enjoy Gino’s with a glass of Lambrusco :)

Family owned/Family friendly: If you went to West Bloomfield High, than chances are you may have had a banquet or two at Gino’s/Santia Hall. You remember the pasta dishes, the great pizza, and probably the best bread sticks around. Not much has changed. Gino’s family approach to both the food and service is really where it’s at. It’s not uncommon to have Gino, Marco, or Rocco(I’m not making these up) visit your table for a personal greeting. Gino’s is, and has always been, a favorite place for locals to attend but also draws a wide range of customers. The food varies from typical Italian-American fare to American classics. The pizza is always top notch and consistent and they have a decent fish’n’chips on any day, not just Friday. Try the steak some time, you will not be disappointed. I do feel that many of the dishes are a bit moderate to almost high priced. Portions are decent but not overwhelming. Service is consistent but never too high brow. You’ll enjoy the meal better by not eating near or around the bar, but rest assured you should be quite satisfied with your meal. Try the soup and some of the meatballs while you’re there. Gino’s is worth the trip. You’ll get a decent meal, with decent service, all at a decent price. You’ll pay at or near prices to eat at the Olive Garden but will enjoy this so much more.

I have been going to ginos for over 20 years. Their breadsticks look meek but are so good and addicting that if u do t love the amazing pasta sauces u can at least eat them. The service is very friedly. They ysedto have all u can eat pasta but no more:( The vodka sauce and manacotti are amazingg. I can not believe I am the first to post. But then again ithink it’s a place that older people are down with the most. That’s when you KNOW it’s great!!!
