Jag Paving Corp.

Do not use this company. I hired them to redo my driveway and lay down pavers in my backyard. A few weeks after the job was completed it started getting hot out so I turn on my central AC. The machines turn on but the house doesnt cool. My AC guy comes to check it out and informs me that they were physically moved breaking the copper line connections and damaging the machines beyond repair. I had this confirmed by a 2^nd professional. The 2 compressors that were brand new a year ago sit on top of the blacktop. Naturally I called Jag because they ripped up all the old backtop around the machines. I left a message that was returned by an employee saying the owners would call me. That never happened so I called back and was questioned on why I think they are responsible. Maybe because you are the only ones to go near those machines in the last 9 months since they were last turned on? I finally get a call back from the owner who simply says she asked her guys and they said it wasnt them and washed her hands of the situation leaving me with a repair bill of $ 2,845.

They do good work and the price is not outrageous. But the big problem is they don’t get back to you on the phone and it’s hard to pin them down to an appointment. They’re not honest when it comes to when they will do the work or responding to you. They’re classic in the approach of «nodding» but they really disregard you.

Years ago JAG did our driveway and did a good job so we called them back for our sidewalk. It was a small simple job that turned into a nightmare. They were incredibly difficult to communicate with, even finding when they might start the job took many phone calls, they never came when they said they would usually showing up a day late, then when they would come they never communicated (for example after laying down concrete one might expect ab quick notice of how long it will take to set, but no) we then, after several days, had to call to find out when they would come back to remove the braces and extra wood and debris left in our yard. When they can they demanded the rest of the payment which we said we would pay after the final inspection– as is the case with every contractor we have ever worked with, the result was threats to call a lawyer, a statement that they never should have taken a small job (it was several K$ but apparently not enough) and finally my husband was told they would never work with us again — how they could think we would ever request their work after all we had been through is beyond me. Although my sidewalk was completed with for me work, I’d save yourself the headache and get another contractors.

for about 15 years I have been patching my stairs never wanting to get them redone. This last storm destroyed them. All the patch was gone. I saw a Jag paving truck on Elm Street in front of my house. So I asked the very courteous guy to give me an estimate. It was the lowest. And they were ready to go today as soon as spring start it and the weather was better. they gave the best estimate and they finished in one day. It is like a piece of art. It’s cold outside its windy and they did a fantastic job. Never interrupting anything that I had to do at my house. I highly recommend them. Very courteous I think the owner is a female she is great. The supervisor makes several checks through the course of the day. All around a great place. The next time I need anything done like this I will call them
the way there is another review where the guy was extremely satisfied he just did not understand how to give them a 5-​star rating and he gave them a 0-​star rating by accident. So all of these reviews are five star. And believe me they merit 5 stars
