Dr. Maslansky has been in private practice since 1982. Dr. Maslansky has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Queens College. He received various academic honors. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was chosen to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from S.U.N.Y College of Optometry. Dr. Maslansky was chosen to be on the faculty as an assistant clinical professor. He instructed residents in the diagnosis and treatment of eye problems. Dr. Maslansky has a vast experience with all different kinds of people. He was the Optometric Director of a learning disability center. There he provided eye care for children with learning problems. Dr. Maslansky was on the staff at New York Eye and Ear Hospital. He has also consulted various nursing homes where he treated the unique problems of the elderly, and was a consultant to a developmental center where he treated individuals with developmental disabilities.
