We specialize in personalized home pet care for people who consider their pets part of the family. Aging pets, puppies and pets with health issues get the special care they need at home with us. We are trained in Pet CPR/​First Aid and are well versed on emergency procedures. Nutrition and training advice is part of what we do. Our pet sitters are educated in the most current tips and information available to care for your pets.

History

Established in 2011.

Born out of a love for animals owner Carol Facklam wanted to offer a service to pet parents that would go beyond simple basic pet care. She wanted to provide not only peace of mind but peace of heart as well. A part of the small community town of Kearney, MO Creature Comforts Home Pet Care has expanded to include most areas north of the river. Wanting to maintain personalized service and care Carol has brought on quality pet sitters including a Veterinary student and a retired teacher. All Creature Comforts pet sitters pass rigorous background checks and are trained in Pet First Aid and CPR. One pet sitter is assigned to each client with a backup pet sitter available. Creature Comforts is there when you need them.

Business Owner

Carol is originally from Florida and has been in the KC area since 1998. She lives in a community north of KC along with her husband, two kids and her dogs; a Goldendoodle named Kaycee, a Schnauzer named Lilly, a Cock-​a-​poo named Tanner, and a Chihuahua named Chloe (adopted from one of her clients). She has always had a pet or two sharing her home as a part of the family. She left the corporate world and decided to combine her love of animals and her business savvy to create a top notch home pet care service. She loves what she does and it shows in the way she takes care of your furry family members. She treats them as if they are her own giving them a lot of affection and attention, and attending to their every need.

Carol’s goals for the future are to continue providing the very best home pet care services and growing her business while maintaining one-​on-​one personalized care. She continues upgrading her skills and is currently pursuing a certification in pet sitting.
