Established in 1980.
87 Pit Stop started in Gallatin, Missouri as a small town machine shop and automotive repair. In 2015 we relocated to Excelsior Springs, Missouri operating primarily as a powder coating shop and we have moved from auto repair services into automotive restorations.

David has been building cars and motors since he was 16 years old. He has owned and operated 87 Pit Stop for over 20 years. David also spent 15 years as a lead mechanic at Midway Ford in Kansas City.
