Went here today after the St Patricks Day parade. It was very crowded with lots of people having a great time decked out in green, drinking green beer and so on even though St Pats Day was two weeks ago. Broken calenders in Keansburg? The drinks prices are reasonable and for the celebration they were serving free hot dogs out back and then corned beef sandwiches inside. Any place that gives you free food is my kind of place!

The«Rudest Bar in Town» actually has some of the best food, mostly sandwiches and platters but pretty good. They have small dance floor and there’s usually an annoying DJ with a laptop. They also have three pool tables and host an active pool league. Outside they have a smoker’s tent and a fenced in yard. I’m told dogs are welcome but I’ve yet to see one in person. The bathroom’s are fairly clean, for a bar anyway. However, grifters beware, this is a local and outsiders are not really welcome. The bartenders are nice enough but you get the feeling that some patrons want to be left alone. No problems if you mind your own business but like most bars in this town, leave your loudmouth friends at home.
