Specialties

Greenwell Farms is a family owned and operated Kona Coffee production company in Kona. Located on property first settled by Henry Nicholas Greenwell in 1850.

We farm our own coffee trees. We also purchase the coffee cherries grown by about 400 neighbor farms in the Kona Coffee Belt. We mill and roast this coffee for the coffee specialty industry around the world. We also offer our finest coffee, roasted by our Master Roasters in our Roasting House to retail customers at our Farm location and on our Website at www.greenwellfarms.com.

Please visit Greenwell Farms when in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. It will be our pleasure to take you on a Free Kona Coffee Farm Tour. Enjoy 100% Kona Coffee tasting. We sample ten flavors all day. Our Award Winning «Private Reserve», PeaBerry, Medium, Full City, Dark, Espresso, two de-caff’s, Macadamia Nut, and Chocolate Macadamia Nut.

History

Established in 1850.

The Greenwell Farms Kona Coffee Legacy began in 1850 when Henry Nicholas Greenwell left England and first set foot on the fertile soil of rural Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Together with his wife, Elizabeth Caroline, Henry Nicholas Greenwell spent the next forty years farming, ranching and perfecting his Kona Coffee, soon exporting it to Europe and the Americas. In 1873, the President of the Kaiser’s Exposition awarded the Greenwells a «Recognition Diploma» for their Kona Coffee at the World’s Fair in Vienna, Austria. Today Greenwell Farms ships Kona Coffee all over the world.
