At our Keaau /​Shipman Industrial Park Location you’ll find a full-​service drive-​thru lumber yard plus design and manufacturing operations for our Custom Metal Roofing, Trusses and Wall Panels. Shipman is also the location of HPM’s Corporate Office, and Human Resource, Bonding and Accounting departments.

At HPM’s Hilo, Waimea or Kona locations you will also find: Cabinets & Countertops, Doors, Windows & Millwork, Electrical, Hardware, Home & Garden, Closet Organization, Packaged Homes & Home Plans, Paint, Plumbing, Rental Equipment and Tools.

History

Established in 1921.

Since starting out 90 years ago as a small, family-​owned Hilo lumber mill, HPM Building Supply – now 100-​percent employee-​owned – has grown to include three full-​service building supply centers and four lumber yards on the Big Island. The company manufactures pre-​engineered trusses and wall-​panels, metal roofing and pre-​hung doors, and treats its own lumber. From its Honolulu facility HPM also provides lumber, building supplies, home planning and custom metal roofing to O’ahu, Maui and Kaua’i.
