History

Established in 1947.

Established in 1947 by Gordon and Mark «Sparky» Van Lieshout as a Dodge dealership. Gordon passed away in 1971 leaving Sparky with the dealership to himself. Two years after the death of Gordon, Sparky decided it was to much to run the dealership on his own and sought out a partner. George Simon joined him and the name of the dealership was changed to Van Lieshout & Simon Dodge. Sparky decided to end his career in retirement in 1983, so George Simon bought out his share of the dealership. Sadly in 2009 the dealership lost its franchise agreement with Chrysler LLC due to Chryslers bankruptcy proceedings. Since George has a significant passion for his Job, Customers, and Employees, he decided to keep his dealership open. The name has since changed to Simon Auto Center. George Simon has been the sole owner of the dealership since 1982. And remember «We keep all your auto needs simple!»
