Nice and pleasant staff. I never feel rushed. Tiffany provides great pedicures. Lisa waxes my brows and she is great also. I definitely recommend this place.

I Love Violet Nails. My nails always look so Beautiful and I leave Happy Every time. Devin has done my nails the past few times I’ve been and I couldn’t be more happier with his work. He is very professional and Has Great customer service. I can tell he loves what he does and really enjoys doing it. I will go back to Violet Nails and Continue to use Devins Wonderful Service. All the other staff I’ve noticed are really nice and friendly greeting customers and they come in. Devin also did a great job with my eye brows to.

I’ve been coming here for about two months now and I love, love, love this nail shop. The technician are very nice and professional, I would recommend Mrs. Stacey she does, nails, lashes, eyebrow and so much more! You won’t be disappointed in what service you receive at Violet Nails… this is my new spot, love it!!!

I came here about a month ago during the week and got a shellac manicure and pedi. The place was clean and the staff was nice and attentive. I decided to go back on a Saturday to see if I would get the same service as before. I didn’t too much like the shellac done the first time so I asked for one of the best they had and they gave me to Stacie. She did an awesome job on my shellac and was very friendly. I went back on today and decided to try something different and ended up getting acrylic nails I was a bit skeptical, but it turned out great. Stacie did that also. I also got a pedicure by Lee, she has given me one of the best pedicures. She took her time and the massage was relaxing. I will be asking for her to do my pedicure in the future.

Largest salon in Katy! They have over 25 pedicure chairs, prices are reasonable and technicians are very professional. Clean, gorgeous salon with lots of gel colors, Brand name polishes, variety of designs to select and if you brought in a picture they can duplicated to be perfected. Complimentary beverages are offer daily! Try them out guarantee you’ll be satisfied!

I went to Violet Nails today with my sister and my cousin, David. I had called ahead and was told we could all get pedi’s in 15 minutes. Great! When we got there, we were greeted by Devinh who had already put our names on the list! What great service we got! I think that Devinh has the best customer awareness that I have seen in a very long time! He did my shellac manicure while Delilah did my pedi. My sister and cousin got mani’s as well as pedi’s. It was my cousin’s first time in a nail salon. He came to Katy from the area by Hobby Airport to spend the day with us. He said he will be coming back now, to come to Violet Nails! Thank you, Devinh for a great mani/​pedi experience! Also, the salon is beautiful, clean, and busy! Call ahead and ask for Devinh (Devon). He is so friendly and fun!

Not a fan. The tech was good. She massaged very well. But it took them 30 mins to do my pedi. Why are there so many chairs but not enough employees. Also the interiors were too bright. I just didn’t like the vibe.

I will not make a return visit to this salon. I walked in and waited for over 30 minutes and no one called me to start doing my nails. Initially, I was standing and walking around because they did not have more than 4 seats for waiting customers. It didn’t look like they even had enough people working! As I was leaving, I saw other people walking in. They can barely handle or service the people in the salon and then they had more people coming in! Another woman came in after me and she was waiting and looking around for someone to come and assist her. I normally have a great deal of patience but I think 30 minutes is enough of a wait time especially when they don’t have a seat for you and don’t bother to check in with you. Good luck going to this place!

Upon arrival, the salon is very clean and pleasing to the eye. like any nail salon, you’re greeted with awkward stares. the first time I had services done here, my nails were done by Orlando the nicest nail technician ever. very nice, friendly and tedious. he was very skilled at his job-​in a timely matter as well. my second time I had services done by-​I believe her name was Helen. Helen was the worst… absolute worst nail tech. she seems very rude, catty, and could care less about the outcome. she seemed to be in a hurry-​for lord knows why. I appreciated Orlando service because he actually cares about his clients.
if you ever visit violet nails, don’t bother with any other techs, go strait for Orlando. he knows what he’s doing, enjoys what he’s doing, and does well at his job.

Went to get my nails done and had a horrible experience with the gentleman doing my nails. He messed my nails up and tries to tell me he has never made a mistake in 19 years. Well I’m sorry you messed up my nails this time. I’ve been to the shop several times and have never experienced this type of service. I will never come to this salon again. I thought services would have been better considering they moved into a new space but I guess not. His only suggestion was to start over no, I’ve been here an hour I don’t have time to do it over. He handed me a bill and said thank you.

I went to this salon twice. The first time Vivian did my nails and did a very nice job. The second time I went, a man who was sleeping in the corner when I arrived did them. I call him a man because he never introduced himself, just proceeded to do my nails. He changed the shape of my nails and they are as thick as claws. He only gave one of my hands a message and skipped the second one. When he was done, he just got up and left. I had to go to the counter to get the total which was $ 35 for refills. That was more than a original full set. I will never go here again.

Got shellac nails for $ 25. $ 15 for shellac and $ 10 for manicure. No complaints about the manicure but my polish job in not the best. There are still some spots where my nails need another coat of polish. The staff was nice though and they stay open fill 6pm on Sundays.

My normal salon. I try to go at 9am when they open. Always great results. (Except for the one time I let the young girl talk my 40 year old self into getting glitter powder. haha! My fault on that one!!)
Try to get Sonny or Theresa. Sonny is BY FAR the best. Very gentle and thorough and patient.
I’ve had pedicures there and they always last a very long time.

I went here to get a manicure and pedicure. All I wanted was a simple white shellac manicure with a little bit of gold sparkle on the tips. The white was streaky and needed another coat. I tried to tell the girl doing my nails that I thought it needed another coat, she dismissed me saying that it looked great. If I didn’t like it, I expected her to fix it. The gold glitter used wasn’t shellac, so by the next morning, it was already flaking off. It took over 2 hours for things to finally get done. I was so upset with the quality of the work, that I didn’t leave a tip… Which I ALWAYS do. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. The only positive I can say is that the cost was less than other places I’ve been.

I have been coming here for 4 yrs & never had any issues, came in today @2pm and there were 5 people sitting around doing absolutely nothing, no one wanted to do my nails, 2 women actually fought about who should be the one to do it, the one that lost was not happy at all, didn’t speak the entire time until it was time to pay. I felt so uncomfortable but didn’t have time to find another place. This will be the last time I come here, I will be finding a new Salon today! I am so disappointed with the unprofessionalism and lack of customer service!

Worst salon I’ve ever been to… The girl who did my nails made it seem like she was in such a hurry and she new the nails were horrible and I will never come back to this salon!!! Don’t waste your time and money at this salon!

Went here for the first time today. I had a nice experience! Ann did my pedicure and Helen did my shellac manicure. Both sweet ladies did good with the cleaning of my cuticles took thier time and I did not feel rushed. The massage was pleasant and relaxing with my service. Affordable prices. Paid $ 45 for both services. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been going to this salon for over 3 years. I’ve stopped at other salons in the past because they were closer to where I live but always end up coming back to Violet Nails. I use them for Mani, Pedi, Waxing, Threading and eye lash extensions. I’ve always been very please with the end result. Wait time for me is usually very minimal. If you don’t like to wait … call and make an appointment and I guarantee you will be seen within a timely manner. Managed by Kathy whom is awesome! This salon is very clean and clean their supplies after every use. Prices are fair. Make an appointment and stop by!!! Eye lash extensions ROCK!!!

This is my go to nail salon for pedicures and eyebrow waxing. Cathy works wonders on the crazy spaniard eyebrows I inherited. If you’re looking to get waxed, she’s the only person at the salon I recommend. I saw that Jacqueline R. posted a picture of the salon. However, that’s a picture of a different salon that’s a short distance away from Violet Nails. Definitely NOT a picture of this salon. Violet Nails is very crowded and cluttered. They have too many pedicure stations and a super narrow walkway when the techs are sitting in their chairs. I see great potential for somebody to trip and fall trying to maneuver the walkway. Overall, the price is great. I enjoy my pedicures and appreciate Cathy’s waxing skills.

What a relaxing experience. I was one of the first customers. I was seated quickly for my pedi and was given top notch service even with the lowest pedicure option. Lots of color options, friendly staff, pretty designs too. I was a little skeptical when I walked in but I’m a happy customer.

The first two times i loves my salyc nails. Then i went in and she knew i was very unhappy with the job. I was leaving on vacation. i went back the week later to redo
It was worse. in a hurry since not paying. Long story short i will NEVER go back… now i have to go, elsewhere! The polish was obvious bad. I hate when they are talking about you in their language.

Dislikes: waiting period, my pedicure wasn’t all that great (basically seemed like a polish change, no difference in my actual feet), all the workers yelled back and forth amongst themselves in their language majority of the time (the looks on the customers’ faces said it all).
Not worth a cheaper price, I would rather pay more for quality service.

I read about them on here and decided to try them as I needed a new nail place.
I got a full set of solar nails and paid 30.00 for it. About what I expected so no complaints there.
I was greeted and seated at a station as soon as I walked in. This was Black Friday so I was expecting a wait, but there was none there. They were busy as I could see quite a few people getting pedicures and 3 other people at the manicure stations.
The gentleman who did my nails was great. Yes, they are Asian. Yes, they speak in another language in front of you. I didn’t feel like they were talking about me at all. Maybe because I heard store names and assumed they were talking about great Black Friday deals. I usually feel very paranoid, but did not here.
The whole experience took no more then 30 minutes. Way less time then I thought it would.
The workers were friendly and chatty. One lady came in while I was there with a question about her nails and they fixed it up no charge on the spot.
I did take one star, because they kept changing stations on me. I sat in 3 different places and had 2 people start to work on my nails before the man who did them came in.
I will definitely return. Have also gotten tons of compliments on my nails and have told friends to head that way also.

Mani and pedi for $ 29.99? Sign me up! I didn’t know that I would also get free wifi. Forget your laptop? No problem! Just ask to borrow theirs. You also get complimentary water, soda, and wine after 4pm (is this a Happy Hour?). Wow. Violet is not a «foo-​fitty» or «uppity» salon by any means. It’s run by Asians just like in the movies and the workers will speak their own language amongst themselves in front of you and make you feel like they’re talking about you. But — I personally don’t care about that as long as you’re nice to my face, and my hands and feet are nice and pretty when I leave.
I had Teresa do my pedi and a male worker who spoke maybe two words during my whole visit did my manicure. I like that they have two people working on you at the same time … stars for time efficiency! Teresa was very friendly along with most of the workers. Many of the customers were obvious regulars because they were referred to by name as they walked in. Seeing that is always a good sign in nail salons. I didn’t have an appointment but was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in the door.
I cut one star only because my manicure, though it looked nice, didn’t last long at all. One wash of the dishes that same night and the polish peeled right off. The cost for a manicure is only $ 10, so I suppose that’s why? I just haven’t ever had polish peel off so fast and it really was a waste of money.

They are amazing! I tried every nail salon in the vicinity when I moved to Katy. Then one day I took a chance and went in (I don’t usually go into strip center nail salons). But to tell you the truth they do an EXCELLENT job for a decent price. What really matters is they don’t crap out on service ever! They are consistently, friendly, and they do a great job.
