The PreK @ KVPAC is a developmentally appropriate play-​based preschool, focusing on fine arts and academics. Learning objectives seek a balanced approach. We emphasize academic performance, creative arts expression, along with social and physical development. Most importantly, we truly love and enjoy children. It is an honor and a pleasure to be a part of making their PreK experience unique and memorable.

History

Established in 2001.

KVPAC is a 501©(3) non-​profit arts education organization founded by a small, dedicated group of local artists. The original location was a warehouse in downtown Katy referred to as «the hole-in-the-wall’s hole» because one had to walk through a dance studio’s waiting room to get to the hallway which led back to the garage where KVPAC was housed. From this humble beginning, support from students, parents and the community led to two subsequent moves to larger buildings. Our current studio is conveniently located in the heart of Katy at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center Complex.

Meet the Manager

Lindy R.

Manager

Lindy graduated from the University of Houston in 2008 with a degree in psychology and focused on early childhood development. She worked on campus assisting various cognitive and social psychology studies. Her managerial training is from 10 years of retail management and human resources experience. Lindy was formerly the area manager for Moxie Moms, and helped coordinate various activities all over the city for moms and children. In addition, Lindy is married and the mother of two very active boys who are 7 and 4. Her youngest attends The Prek at KVPAC. Lindy joined KVPAC in 2011.
