The service is fast so I guess if that’s what you’re wanting then this the place. I got a full set and it was alright I’ve had it done better. The technician wasn’t so friendly either. I enjoy conversing with them but the one I had didn’t want any of that. The prices are reasonable and the student discount is nice! I don’t hate this place but I don’t love it

Not the prettiest place but they always bring out new equipment for my pedicure. I care more about sanitized clippers than a chandelier. I’ve only had pedicure and manis and they’re always great. They do set a timer but I like that I don’t get shorted for the time I paid. It’s more of a guarantee that my 45 min pedi is actually 45 min.

Not the friendliest nail techs and they don’t clean your fingers if they cut you.

Super happy with my visit here. I walked right in, and the two ladies who did my mani-pedi were sweet and yet unobtrusive(I am not a fan of chatting throughout my relaxation time). Beautiful job on both nails and toes. Very detailed and made sure no polish was on the surrounding skin. I’m very pleased!!!

It’s very different from other nail salons I have used. They set a timer for your session, so don’t go here if you want to relax and be pampered. Do go here if you are in a hurry or on your lunch break. They use real herbs and such if you pick the deluxe spa services.

I love this place! They’re fast and do a great job. I’ve gotten a pedicure and facial here. You can choose from multiple services. I can even go on my lunch break and be back to work on time. I’ve hosted a girls day here before and everyone really liked it. They also serve wine, which is always a plus.

If your sign says you close at 6:00, then close at 6:00, not 5:45(or maybe even earlier — it was 5:45 when I arrived on a Sunday and the ‘Open’ sign was turned off, the lights were dimmed, and no one was in sight). This is a huge pet peeve of mine and seems to be a habit with a lot of nail salons. I came to get an eyebrow wax. It wouldn’t have taken 10 minutes. I have been happy with the service I’ve received here — I get pedicures and eyebrow waxes — but this habit is enough to make me not want to come back, and it cost them a star. It’s no way to run a business, and now I have to go to work all next week looking increasingly unkempt. And forget about having a first date with the guy I like, who I was hoping to see soon. I am not pleased.

I have been going here fr about 2 years, however I have tried other places around it too. For the most part I really like this nail place. The catch is you have to get the really good manicurist to make it worth your money! Their staff changes a lot so sometimes I go in and am not sure who is good and who isnt. Their prices are fairly resonable and they are always fairly quick. If I am in a time pinch I go here but they could improve their quality

I’ve been here a few times and they did a decent job as far as manicures/pedicures go. However, the ladies who work here are rather rude. The last time I visited Star, I got an eyebrow wax and received burns under my brows. I’ve been getting eyebrow waxes for over five years and I’ve never been burned that badly before. The woman claimed it was my fault because I «moved» while she was waxing. It’s as if they don’t care about earning your business… and it’s not like there aren’t another dozen nail salons you can go to in Katy!

Like any place it depends who you get to determine if your gonna get a good mani/pedi. Some are awesome and others so so. The plus is this place is very nice and clean.
