Stellar service and ultra-​professional men. I had followed all packing and supply recommendations from a third-​party broker to load three shipping crates for a cross-​country move. Thank heavens Dennis called the morning of the move to discuss the final details. The broker had not conveyed the distance between the shipping crates and my apartment. Dennis quickly rearranged the equipment and number of men needed to efficiently conduct my move. Even worse, it appeared I had not ordered enough crates for my apartment and initially it appeared not everything would fit. I was quickly trying to decide what would have to be left behind and donated. However, the entire team worked together to basically «shoe horn» the boxes, furniture, etc. into the three shipping crates and used every bit of available space to the ceiling! Finally, I did not have everything packed as well as I should have and did not have all the «cushioning» supplies I’d been advised I would need. Once again, Baby Huey’s came through with the additional supplies on hand. My furniture was carefully wrapped and sandwiched together. I was really starting to come apartment when I realized I was not prepared and much appreciated the calm, methodical and kind help of the team lead and movers. I am so grateful what could have been a moving disaster was managed so well by this team. I will definitely recommend and use this company again!!!

Once again Baby Huey’s was great! I had some large heavy furniture I needed moved within my home, and they were able to get everything moved from room to room, floor to floor in about 15 minutes. Yes, I had to pay the 2 hour minimum, but when I think of the labor involved and how I was able to get my project done in record time (vs. coordinating friends) not to mention saving straining my back, it was worth every penny. Not one scratch to anything including me!

Please research this company well before making the decision to use them — I wish I had. I chose this company after seeing their positive Unilocal reviews. Upon further research they have a F rating on the Better Business Bureau! Here is some detail as to why:
We hired them to move from our past to current 3 bedroom apartment. We had moved all of our belongings prior to them coming, and just needed them to move the furniture.
We became concerned with their pace after them taking over an hour to simply wrap and prepare our couch. We brought up our concerns with one of the movers, and he responded kindly that it was due to them being meticulous in caring for our belongings. End of conversation. Fair enough, until we saw the same gentleman not paying attention and crashing our dresser into a pole in our parking garage…
Fast forward a few hours and the owner of the company calls me asking if it’s true that I was unhappy with the time it was taking them. I responded that yes, I was, thinking he was calling to resolve the issue. Instead, this man starts yelling at me, saying I am crazy for thinking this would be any less than an 8 hour move. I may have truly thought I was crazy too, if I had not moved a year ago with the exact same furniture and the company took HALF the time that baby Huey’s did. He was the most disrespectful and unprofessional supervisor I have ever spoken with. I was in complete shock after he had hung up on me.
These people are crooks, they purposely work at a slower pace as they are paid by the hour. If you want to pay double of what you should and enjoy a nasty phone conversation with the rude and arrogant owner, hire these people to do your moving.

I would highly recommend Baby Hueys Moving. They were the best! The guys were very nice, quick and on time. The price per hour for the quality of work received is impeccable. If you are moving anywhere in the state, contact them! They are a hidden gem in the moving industry.

I called Baby Huey’s after my original movers failed to show up. I was scheduled to start moving out of my apartment at 2:00 PM; I called Baby Huey’s around 2:30 PM; by 3:00 PM I had a contract in my email; by 5:30 PM, I was moving into my new place with the help of Damian and Marlon. Although the guys had been moving others all day, ate lunch on the way to my house, and were tired, they pushed through to make sure that I was able to get to my storage on time and move into my new place. They were not only pleasant to work with, they respected my belongings and listened to my requests. I would have been SOL without their hard work and positive attitudes. Thank you!

What started as a great experience ended as true disaster. I used this company to move some of my belongings into a storage unit. On this go round — they were great! It was a last minute need for the movers (you know how friends love to help friends move) and Thomas was more than willing to come move my belongings the next morning. I decided to use them again to move from storage to my townhome. The movers were great! The owner/​management is the worse. The movers used a truck with a broken strap which resulted in a broken mirror. The movers were aware of the broken strap prior to the move and also informed the owner who told them to use it anyway. They promised to repair it in two — four weeks. I called after two months to check the status and they said that they would deliver to me. When I tried to confirm a date and time I go no response from the owner. After calling numerous times I also started emailing them to coordinate. Did not here back to over 10+ emails I sent. I did get a response back with a day and time but they never showed! I emailed and called multiple times and again no response. I finally decided to file a complaint with the BBB and within three days I finally got my mirror. There was no apology from the owner just excuses as to why I didnt hear from them. So after almost 5 months I finally got my mirror back. They say next to death and divorce, moving is the most stressful time in someone’s life. This did not help. I would not recommend this company at all.

Professional and Courteous service.
I used Baby Huey’s Moving through Moving Staffers to have my stuff moved from my POD to my apartment.
The movers were very friendly and worked quickly. I noticed they were careful with my items and even repaired the knob on my dresser that had been damaged during its time in the POD. They even offered me a bottle of water from their cooler.
They offered to rebuild my bed frame but I declined since I would rather do it myself.
When I was scheduling the pickup and drop off the people on the phone were also courteous and helpful. They did a good job of making sure the pickup/​dropoff times and locations were correct
Bottom line: I would use Baby Huey’s Moving again.

These guys are great. I was set up by Moving Staffers with Baby Huey’s moving company. They showed up on time and worked on a hot Houston day to get all my stuff loaded into 3 ABF cubes. They guys were professional and handled all of my stuff with TLC. My stuff showed up in Las Vegas unscathed. I plan to use these guys for stage two of my move from Houston to Las Vegas. Highly recommend these guys!

I contracted Baby Huey’s Moving on 5÷11÷2014 as my father recently fell and broke his hip and I needed help moving bedroom furniture from upstairs to the downstairs guest room, as well as moving a large sleeper sofa from downstairs guestroom to the upstairs. The scheduler was courteous and diligent and was able to get his team out to my house same day. The movers arrived on schedule, and both were courteous, efficient, and very professional. Am in process of relocating from Cypress to Energy Corridor to be closer to my office as soon as I find the right house… will definitely use these guys for the move.

These guys were great! We used 3 guys for 2 hours, and they moved everything from our four bedroom house without any problem. They even wrapped our couches and washer and dryer better that we ever could! We just unpacked out here in CA and nothing was damaged! Big thanks to this company!

Can’t say enough about Baby Huey’s Moving Company, it is the best moving company I have used in moving from several states throughout the country in the 25 years I have been moving. The movers were very nice and were very fast in moving everything we had in a timely manner. The movers were very careful in moving everything and took time to shrink wrap items that needed it for extra protection. We will definitely be using Baby Huey’s Moving again in the future for our next move and will recommend them to our friends for their moving. The moving company and the movers went over and beyond to make my moving experience a good one and I can’t say enough good things about their service and professionalism, they deserve a AAA rating and a 5 star recommendation for their excellent attention to detail and customer service.

Awful! They dropped our beautiful stainless fridge off the back of the uhaul 2 months ago when unpacking us!!! First the manager was awful and said take us to court, then an hour later said they would fix it, well here we are 2 months later…, he won’t return our calls and we will be forced to take him to court! So unprofessional!!!

When I set up a move from my dad’s house in southwest Houston (to my new home in Northern Virginia) of some furniture, about 30 boxes of books/​files, and two rugs with ABF Freight, they recommended a Katy, TX moving company, Baby Hueys, to do the packing of the belongings at my dad’s house.
My dad was there the whole time the Baby Hueys men loaded the trailer that ABF transported. He waived the damage claim for two book cases, as he said he didn’t mind if they got a scratch by not being wrapped. He did not realize that for some reason the movers loaded the book cases upside down and loaded them with so many heavy boxes that the book cases were completely destroyed upon arrival. That’s not just scratches caused by not wrapping them in blankets. Also, a very well made dresser was crushed under the weight of books and files. When we complained about the destruction of these items, Baby Hueys blamed my dad for not letting them use their own (expensive) wrapping blankets as opposed to the ~25 moving blankets we rented from Uhaul. They also blamed my dad for the damage to the belongings. Most shockingly, their boss’s final response, verbatim:
«That is way (sic) we are waived of responsibility on load only jobs. We care about our clients but we are only given protection material via the customer… We are good Christian people and the last thing said about us in our community is that we don’t care about people.»
As good Christians, we told them they should know that they should «do the right thing,» which would be to admit that they destroyed belongings through incompetence while doing their PRIMARY job, which is to carefully and securely pack items for a move.
When we asked for some amount of compensation for the ~1300 of damage they did (the total move cost was a little over $ 2000), they ignored both our response and our request.
No lies or exaggeration here; just a buyer beware to all future users of this service– in my opinion they are not competent, will not be held liable, and are not trustworthy. As far as I’m concerned, they should not be in business if this is how they deal with customers.

I’ve used at least 5 different moving companies in Houston and Baby Huey’s blew all the rest away. They were fast, helpful, courteous, and didn’t complain about my washer & dryer being on the 3^rd floor! No nicks in the walls or floors, and the guys even took the time to fix some minor maintenance issues in my new apartment. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

As a Review for Baby Huey Movers «AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HOUSEHOLD GOODS!!!»
Baby Huey Moving is an incompetent very unprofessional moving establishment. They arrived two hours late to start the move and tried to rush the moving and still did not finalize the entire move. They did manage to take frequent breaks, eat dinner, down a few beers and keep the move going until after 9PM. I left to pick up a part from Home Depot for the washer install and returned to find the movers had left and had my fiancée sign that everything was complete. It was far, far from complete; the refrigerator was put into the utility room and the door to the exterior would not even close. I had to re-​move the refrigerator myself. We were left with damaged goods and items littering the home still wrapped and incompletely moved. They damaged items while re-​arranging (twice) the items being moved. The workers complained constantly about long hours and incompetent owners, stating that the company had tens of thousands of dollars lost in damages weekly and the turnover rate for the workers as being horrific. We had asked the movers to take a load from the apartment to the new home, approximately ½ mile away, and then continue on to the second pickup home to retrieve the remainder of the items. We were told they could move all the items in one move and they wanted to go to the second pickup home to do the full move in one trip. I advised against it, but they were adamant and wanted the one move. Upon packing of the items from the second pickup home, they ran out of room and had to repack the truck to accommodate what they could. We had to leave a chair, bike and small items as they ran out of room. It was a nightmare.
Upon calling the company the next morning and beginning our complaint, we were told they would send someone out to pick up the desk which was broken and take it to a repair facility and no other damage items were covered. I still have not received a copy of the provisions of the policy issued to me as regards my loss. I was lied to on multiple occasions. I was told the company would get back with me in the next day and would not receive any calls back. I was told the company would send out a representative to look at the damages between 12 and 1PM, they finally arrived at 4:43 PM after I called at 1:20 and was told they would definitely be there by 3PM. Every time they have mentioned a time they have either not responded or been 2 to 4 hours late.
We were over billed. The contract states the first two hours were covered at $ 220.00 and the remainder was to be at $ 60/​hour for two men.
We had 9 hours from Noon till 9PM, they took off 1 hour for their breaks (which were probably around 2 hours or more) leaving 8 hours of total move time. The first two hours at 220 and 6 hours at $ 60 with the insurance of $ 50 for the $ 10,000 coverage.

Total $ 630.00 they billed us for $ 690.00 or the extra hour they said they took off for lunch/​dinner/​drinking and we had given them $ 20 for a quick burger which turned into the 2 plus hours of breaks.
EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL! OWNER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS CLIENTS!

Baby Huey’s Moving was our first experience with movers and we were beyond impressed. Chris and James were fast and extremely careful with our belongings. I knew the minute we met them that they were trustworthy, all-​around good guys. In fact, they showed up about an hour early. When does that happen? Baby Huey’s Moving is like your best buddies helping you move, except they come fully stocked with a big truck and moving supplies. Not to mention, their prices are very reasonable. Will definitely book for our next move.
