Quezada’s Salsa

We just hired Quezada’s to cater a Surprise Birthday Party. I ordered enough for 20 people and we still had left overs after everyone had full bellies and went back for seconds and thirds! the food was phenomenal! Everything was homemade and delicious! the salsa and guacamole were the best we’ve had on the island. The homemade totrillas were a huge hit. We had the carne asada and carnitas, both were cooked to perfection (not over cooked and dry). The food arrived on time for the guests and guest of honor. We highly recommend them and will be using them again! I think the food truck needs to come up to Tripler Where I work! ;)

Todo Bueno!!! This is my go-​to for the best carnitas I have eaten. Lived in So Cal many years, traveled extensively in Mexico, Quezada’s is onolicious! The salsa varieties are excellent, my fav is the spicy red, brings me back to central Mexico with each bite.

By far my favorite and ONLY authentic Mexican tacos on the island! And I’m not saying this just because I’m friends with the owners, who by the way are the coolest and smartest couple ever for bringing this awesomeness to the island! A famous Taco Tuesday from Quezadas Salsa is a must almost every Tuesday in our house!
How it works:
You text or message Mike the owner for your order for Taco Tuesday the week before, and get your orders in because he sells out fast! (Causes it’s THAT good) He has a few options for meat and salsa depending on what you like. You can order his famous guacamole for an extra $ 5 and it is a must cause it’s so delicious! Once your order is in you just simply wait… And it will be the longest week of your life waiting for the little piece of heaven that he HAND DELIVERS for FREE anywhere on the island! It works perfect for me and my fiancé cause we both work long hours and he drops off our loot to my fiancé at work and it’s all ready to be warmed up and eaten! I swear on Tuesdays when I know it’s coming I can’t think of anything else!
What you get:
When you receive your package it consists of the meat you have chosen, 8 tortillas, a mix of cilantro/​onion/​lime (which is so tasty on each taco) and your choice of salsa and/​or guacamole (we always get the Mexican style pork and both salsa and guac) My fiancé pounds about 5 – 6 tacos and I am left with the remaining. We usually add cheese cause I love cheese and sometimes will sauté some red peppers or something to add. You get plenty of meat for all your taco shells and sometimes we even have extra meat so we use chips or our own stash of tortillas to finish it off. And when I mean finish it off I mean lick every ounce from the bowls… Then cry a little because it’s over and you can’t have it until next week…

Got the Carne Asada taco pack a couple weeks ago and I agree… its pretty damn Bueno! At first it didn’t look like a lot of food, but it was more than plenty. I suggest buying extra taco shells bcuz your going to find you have leftovers. We fed a party of 3 and still had some for lunch the next day!
FYI…they deliver to wherever you choose so you can have Taco Tuesday at work!

The best tacos on the island. I’ve been to so many so called Mexican restaurant and they do not compare to Michaels from quezadas tacos. The f seasoning of these tacos are amazing. I always get my taco Tuesday from him. Nice person too very friendly. I recommend him any day. I have gotten friends to order and they love it. if I could give it a 10 star I would.

If you having a craving for Mexican food, I highly recommend ordering the «Taco Tuesday» meal. You will get fresh homemade delicious Mexican food delivered right to your door. No matter where you are on the island of Oahu, they will deliver to you.
You won’t be disappointed with the quality and quantity that you get. There is enough food to feed 2 people or one person for a few meals. You can also customize your order each week. Their customer service is great because they will contact you to find out what you would like to have for your weekly order and they are always very accommodating.

First off, I am from San Diego so I know legit Mexican food. I travel to the island almost every month but could never find any decent Mexican places that could live up to what I am used to. I first tried the spicy salsa (it is hot but I like spicy) than I tried the pineapple salsa and it cools you right down, this is my favorite combination so I have to have both. The guacamole is amazing probably the best I have had. I have not ordered the taco Tuesday starter kit but was lucky enough to attend a party at a friends home that Quezada’s catered and the carnitas were amazing as good as it gets. Yes he caters. Oh and the spicy queso dip he started selling is out of this world good. They also deliver for free.

Before I begin telling you how incredibly amazing Quezada’s Salsas Carnitas are, I feel I must prove my qualifications to validate my 5 star love for this amazing food.
1. I was born in Mexico City. I’ve eaten AMAZING street tacos!
2. I grew up in LA and have had access to AMAZING Taco Trucks
3. (probably the most important point of all) my dad has a Mexican restaurant in Portland called Olé Frijole made famous by word of mouth so you can imagine I grew up eating really really good Mexican food.
So you see, I’m taking the time to write my first review because of how impressed I was with these carnitas. If you have had the luxury to grow up eating Mexican food and then the blessing to live on this beautiful island, you can understand and relate to the unfortunate predicament we find ourselves when I tell you how hard it is to get your Mexican fix satisfied. My first year on the island was tough not having access to tacos and fresh salsa. I remember trying to make my own batch and spending almost $ 20 just to make a decent salsa. Eight years later, I’ve taught myself how to cook a few things but more importantly I try not to crave Mexican food unless I’m on the plane headed for the mainland.
Yes, there are places like Chaparros or Luibueno’s that are my go to places when I don’t feel like cooking, but It can get pricey spending $ 5 a taco. If I want 3 and a soda I’m already at $ 20 plus the wait if they are busy and then looking for parking, you get the picture. So this is where Quezada’s Salsa comes in.
My friend had organized Taco Tuesday at her house with 3 orders of Quezada’s carnitas, while chatting away I ventured into the kitchen curious to explore where the savory smell was coming from. Like any hungry person would do I snuck one scoop and took my first bite of just the carnitas as they were still being heated up on the frying pan. My eyes popped as the party in mouth intensified and I held back from exclaiming how F*ing amazing that was. I was unexpectedly taken back to a memory of eating street tacos while standing in my friend’s kitchen. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! I was having legit carnitas in Oahu! Two days after that night I placed an order for the following Tuesday because I just couldn’t stop thinking about it. The 3 orders (or starter kit as I’ve heard it called) fed 9 adults and 3 children. There are enough tortillas in the kit, but it’s never a bad idea to have a pack of tortillas on hand depending on how much meat you like to scoop on your tacos. I loved the chipotle salsa and the super crazy spicy red salsa (not sure what it’s called). I mainly like getting the spicy one more as a party trick to see who is brave enough to try it or let a poor innocent soul venture without knowing and seeing their reaction. It’s also impressive watching people go back for seconds.
So next time you Unilocal search tacos, Mexican food, carnitas, plan on hitting Quezada’s on Taco Tuesday for delivery or finding him at his farmers Market in Kapolei on Thursdays. You will be so happy you did!

It’s a party in my mouth! I love, love, love everything Quezada’s has to offer! Even the HOT salsa is amazing, although I prefer the mild, pineapple salsa, and chipotle. I have had their Taco Tuesday a few times now and it never disappoints! It is so much food for the low price of $ 20 and FREE delivery! I want Taco Tuesday every day! SO BUENO!

Top notch Mexican eats!!! Carnita’s are to die for! Taco Tuesday’s are a reason to be excited it’s Monday! Only one more day until TACO TUESDAY! The salsas are AMAZING! If you like it hot, don’t be fooled… it is sneak up on you hot and SO good! The chipotle salsa is like nothing I’ve had before and it was delicious!!!

Whoooaaaaa!!! So I’m from AZ/​Vegas so I definitely have had me some legit Mexican food. I’ve been hard pressed to find anything that really hits home over here. I saw Quezada’s IG page from a friend and decided to finally try their Taco Tuesday kit and holy smokes, it DID NOT disappoint! We got a tub of carne asada, hotttttttt (hurts so good but delicious) salsa, tortillas, AND delivery all for $ 20! Mike definitely puts a lot of love into making everything — you can taste it!!! All of the ingredients in the salsa are fresh, bright, and the flavors are just on point!!! I’m already putting in my order for next week’s Taco Tuesday and you should too before you miss out! Don’t forget to lace a brother out too because he goes out of his way to deliver to his guests for free because he’s that big on customer service. You definitely have my business!!! This is going to be a short review, because frankly, Quezada Salsa (and guacamole, carnitas, and carne asada for that matter) simply speaks for itself. If you want great and authentic Mexican food on Oahu, well you’ve found it! It’s quite possibly the best I’ve ever had (and that includes what I’ve had when visiting family in Southern California).

We had Mike’s taco starter kit for dinner tonight and it was amazing! We live on the mainland which makes us sad as we won’t get to experience this except when we visit Honolulu! We have sampled a couple of his amazing salsas too — pineapple and the chipotle. Both were out of this world!

Your Tuesday special is a must have for anyone on the go! $ 20 for tortillas, your choice of carne asada or carnitas, guac or salsa, and a Jarrito drink to keep it even more authentic! You saved my Tuesday night taco fix!

Quezada’s Salsa is soooooooo delicious. It’s really difficult to find mediocre Mexican cuisine on Oahu and impossible to find amazing Mexican cuisine… but look no further than Quezada’s. It’s what Mexican food dreams are made of. The salsas are super fresh and flavorful. My favorite is the mild salsa but the spicy salsa, pineapple salsa and the guacamole are to die for as well.
They recently started doing «Taco Tuesday» and added carnitas and carne asada to the mix of products and will deliver a Taco Tuesday «starter kit“to you on Tuesdays… $ 20 for your choice of carnitas or carne asada (1 pound, which makes a lot of tacos), mild or spicy salsa or guacamole, 8 tortillas and a Mexican soda. It’s a LOT of food and so delicious. AND delivery is FREE! So excited to finally have some great Mexican grindz on Oahu :-)

Hawaii has always been this vast melting pot of culture, so it is such a breath of fresh air to see such passion’s for one’s culture added to this melting pot. Quezada’s Salsa manages to bring the cultural and culinary flavor of Mexican flavor to the Island with what can only be summed up as a ridiculously well-​made salsa that provides the balanced potency of each individual ingredient. Whether it be for dip, or a topping, Quezada’s expanding menu of salsas range from sweet to light, from mild to burn your face off spicy for the especially bold. Each item is constructed by a culinary artist that loves eating salsa as much as he loves making it, so there is a clear expertise in experience at work here. As a devout cultural foodie, I give Quezada’s Salsa a glowing recommendation, and if the product doesn’t blow you away, the fact that they deliver will.

Honestly, Mexican food is not Hawaii’s strong suit, so when you find VERY good salsa that is made with all fresh and local ingredients, it’s like a food Unicorn.
Multiple types of salsa from flavorful and mild to «burn your okole» hot. (That’s super spicy for any mainlanders reading this.) Whether you want to spice up a sandwich, cook with it, or do the traditional chips only approach, you will NOT be disappointed. Also, now is the time to get it, free delivery island-​wide? Awesome.

The most authentic carnitas and salsa I have ever had! Their guacamole is super tasty as well. If you like pineapple you should try their pineapple salsa. The best part about this place besides the flavor of course is that they deliver for free!

Quezada’s Salsa is the best I have ever had and I have lived in Texas, New Mexico and California. His salsa is so delicious, once you start eating it you cannot stop until it is totally gone. The guacamole is chunky and addicting, you will crave for more. You cannot go wrong with anything this place makes.

Theeeee best fresh salsa on the island! I’m a huge fan of authentic food and these creations never disappoint! My favorite is the cucumber pico! Next up: fresh pineapple salsa! Can’t wait!

I didn’t really care for salsa until I tried Quezada’s Salsa. Michael definitely doesn’t skimp on quality (or quantity) of his product — he takes the time to develop a very flavorful dish that pairs well with a variety of foods; but can also stand on its own with tortilla chips. I’m hooked — Quezada’s Salsa has earned themselves a lifelong customer!

Hand down the best Salsa I’ve ever had. I love food and this is a must have. Go get some trust me you will absolutely love it!
