Pinky Tows

Just a quick shout out. My car died today and I called AAAHawaii who dispatched team to deal with my dead battery. Just want to say, mahalo to the crew at Pinky Tows for the awesome and quick service today!

Employees are extremely unprofessional. One of them laughed at me as I walked up to the door.
I guess it’s nice that people always have Pinky Tows to fall back on if they can’t land a job anywhere else. They seem to hire anyone.
It’s been said before by other reviewers — Go fuck yourself, Pinky Tows.

They showed up without being called to recover my stolen truck, which was awesome. Their service was friendly and polite.
I checked under my hood and told the cop I was relieved the thieves didn’t take my battery, or appear to touch anything under the hood.
The driver was a little rough with my Tacoma, scratching up the undercarriage. But the truck had slashed tires, and was in a tough spot.
When my truck made it to the mechanic shop after a couple days in Pinky’s lot, it was missing the battery, alternator, and the serpentine belt was cut. There was grease on the driver seat, and they stole a sleeping bag out of the truck.
It is possible that the mechanic shop removed the parts and not Pinky Tows, however, Pinky Tows did leave my vehicle it worse condition than they found it in, and one of their employees did take the sleeping bag. (Also, the original thieves were caught on camera, so that confirmed my memory that the battery, alternator, and serpentine belt were intact when the truck was towed by Pinky)
Pinky Tows, you may have some thieves working for you. It’s not a good look for your company.

Scum of the earth. This industry should have a major overhaul and keep these crooks from stealing cars. Go fuck yourself Pinky Tows.

tow truck was speeding coming out of Campbell Industrial Park… I’d say at least 70 or 75 miles per hour maybe more, there were cars all around him… my granddaughter was driving he could have caused an accident we could have been his victims, This tow truck driver is reckless… Hey PINKY, your drivers need to go back to drivers ed!

I know I know… you think tow company and you think this is gonna suck.
A good friend got into a motorcycle wreck and he was taken away by ambulance. His biggest question was «where’s my bike and how bad is it?»
When attempting to retrieve another person’s vehicle, you will need power of attorney and written statement authorizing the person picking it up to do so, as well having that document notarized. It might be a hassle but it prevents the vehicle from getting into the wrong hands.
With everything in order, we headed to the yard, (actually we were originally sent to a nearby location, which sent us here) and the staff was very helpful given the situation.
$ 175, one day of storage plus the tow, and they even helped us put it in the truck since it didn’t roll.
Insurance will reimburse for the tow and the bike is on its way to the shop.

Totaled my car and had to come down to Kapolei to get it from Pinky’s tows late at night. Cost me about $ 600 but it was fair since the tow was long distance and I had to leave it there for a week to take care of medical issues from the accident. The person at the window was nice. One guy was a really big help and tried to find tools for us to strip the car. Although they were such a nice staff there was one that was just the bad out of the bunch. The only reason why I’m giving this place a bad review is that while I was taking my belongings in the car, one guy (another one) that escorted me tried to steal the valuables out of my bag. When I noticed, I went to put my bag away and he just left and someone else came by and helped us. I just can’t fathom why he would do that unless its because hes just a kook. That was just very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Make sure to be aware of your belongs here and keep it close.

Lots of thanks to George Grace for helping my family and I after we got into a bad accident on 11−22−15. He arrives at the scene in a timely matter, he was very sincere in his words, He was very professional and took the time to make sure our vehicle was hooked up properly and went out of his way to drop it off at our home. I recommend Pinky Tows because of their professionalism and aloha spirit. Thank you again!!!

Best tow company!!! We were stuck on H3 one day on our way to the windward side with a blow out tire. Coming from Makaha the tow back home was $$$! We were blessed that day to get a free tow up to the tunnel entrance/​Kaneohe bound where we were able to safely switch out the tire. «George» didn’t just unhook us and split but helped with the spare as well. Super helpful!!! Major blessing that day. Mahalos :)

I was extremely pleased with Pinky Tows. Fast, efficient, personable. My wife was stalled on the freeway at night. George (very nice guy) showed up to help. He got there quickly and got my wife’s van off the freeway to safety at our home.
I highly, highly recommend Pinky Tows to anyone that needs this service. I will definitely call them whenever I need some assistance again.

Big big Mahalo goes out to Pinky Tow driver name George Grace. Very nice guy, quick & didn’t leave us stranded. We were stuck on the freeway because my tire became flat & 3 out of 5 of my lug nuts were very hard to loosen. The officer said «not even the strongest person can get that off» that’s how stuck it were! When George arrived, we told him «no need bradah, my insurance called someone cuz we had full coverage». Instead of him leaving, he asked what we needed help with & we told him about the lug nuts so he just started helping out anyway! Regardless if someone was coming or not. 2 hours on the freeway & we had no hope, until George came to our rescue & we was so grateful, we felt blessed again, all because of his act of kindness! Thank you George!

These people are amazing!!! I was stuck on the side of the freeway at 12:45am. My tire was flat. NO ONE stopped to help. My dad had pulled up and about 5 minutes later, Pinky Tows pulls up. We didn’t call anyone. He said he saw me on the road and turned around to come and help. The jacks that come with the car only go so high, but he brought out his heavy duty jack and helped us out. Granted my dad did most of the changing of the tire, but he stayed till we left, flashed his light. It was the little things that made a huge difference. It reminded me that this world still has good people. I tried to hand him money for him to take himself and his wife (who was sitting in the car) for some coffee. He refused to take it. Awesome people who were simply heaven sent. I would refer them to anyone. I already told my cousin about them and she will be using them for her job. Thank you soooo much Pinky Tows!

Car battery died in a parking lot last night. A guy in another car helped me with a jumpstart but after about 15 minutes still didn’t have enough power to start the car. Koa arrived 15 minutes later after a call to Pinky Tows and his jump start kit got my car started in 5 seconds. Fast arrival and very friendly service. Big Mmahalo Koa! And also to guy in the blue car, i forgot your name, thank you.

Pinky ROCKS! Jackie and the rest of the crew were super professional and courteous. They did what they promised to and followed up with a call to let me know everything was completed. I am very impressed by them and though I hope I don’t have to call them again (that would mean I am having car trouble again) I will absolutely recommend them to everyone. They are a tiny bit more expensive than the other quotes I got but so worth it. Sometimes you have to pay for what you get and I would pay their rates again without a second thought. Thanks Pinky!!!

After getting into an accident and being taken to the hospital unconscious, Pinkys towing has the contract with the state to tow away cars so they are the ones that came to tow my car that was totaled. After getting dichroic from the hospital I called to see when I could get my things out of my car. They told me I had to pay $ 490 before I could even take out my belongings from the car… I have insurance and that didn’t make sense because after the police were called they let me into my car which was ripped apart and all my sounds and tools I had were gone and no explanation was given to me as to why… less than 24 hours and all my things worth vaule were gone so again I had to call the police to file a police report and file another claim to my insurance company for theft and vandalism. I don’t recommend anyone to use this tow company unless your car is locked and secured because they have no respect for anyone’s personal belongings… Very unprofessional and inconsiderate.

Thank God for pinky tow! We called them on a Sunday while we were on the stuck on the side of the road. They showed up quickly and with a smile!

Excellent service and nice staff; very helpful… Wish i got the ladys name that works in the office. She took initiative to help our situation out.
Car got towed due to expired stickers. When we got to the lot to get the car, it wouldn’t start. They did what they did. Definitely changing my views on what tow company’s are.

Under the bad circumstances of the towing, the people there were so nice and helpful thhroughout the whole ordeal.

So, after an accident on the H-​1 the police had Pinky Tows send over a truck to bring our car home for us. They were super friendly, answered my questions, very helpful, and took car of the vehicle.
Should I need a tow in the future, I’ll be calling them.
