As a full-​service surveillance and alarm company, we provide our customers with a comprehensive range of services from installation to customization to monitoring.

Install

During our initial consultation process, we pinpoint the exact needs of each customer and agree upon a solution that will achieve the goals of safety, security, and affordability. On average, the consultation is no longer than one hour and we are often able to complete the installation immediately afterward. When installing our systems, we make sure to cause minimal disruption to the existing infrastructure.

History

Established in 2010.

Lynx Security was founded in 2010 in Hawai’i by veteran security specialist, Kahili Woods. Believing that Hawai’i’s families should have access to high-​tech yet affordable security systems, Kahili set out to build the best system he could find, with features that homeowners needed: easy to use interfaces, minimal disruption to existing infrastructure, wireless mainframe, mobile access, reliable reporting, and more. After the system was built, he decided that if he really wanted to ensure that Hawai’i’s homes were safe, he needed to make the system more than just affordable. So he decided to make it free. From the desire to protect Hawai’i’s ‘ohana, Lynx Security was launched and has been full steam ahead ever since.

Business Owner

Kahili was born and raised in Hawai’i. He comes from a close family with parents who are both well-​respected schoolteachers. Kahili’s professional background is in sales, namely security and surveillance. He worked for larger corporations before deciding to branch out on his own to start Lynx Security, which he set up to fill the gap between high-​tech products and low-​cost overhead. Kahili lives in Kapolei with his wife who is expecting their first child in 2011.
