Kapolei Health Care Center

Try to get an early appointment as later in the day the wait time is one hour. To get to the clinic, after taking the H1 Kapolei/​Makakilo exit, turn right onto Farrington Hwy. Stay in your left lane and turn left at the next stop light (you will see Jack in the Box on the corner and a gas station on the other). Follow the road to the end. The parking lot is for both Kaiser, Queens Medical and the Kapolei Healthcare Center.
Because the adult and children clinic check in is in the same waiting room… bring ear plugs. Lol. It can get a little noisy with the kids crying or screaming.

I love my dr. (Okimoto) very friendly answer all my question and breaks down the reason/​s for the problem I have.

They have a program for those without health insurance called a sliding fee. I don’t have health insurance, so I signed up for there sliding fee. I only pay a $ 15 copay for my visit. Not bad for no insurance. I also get a discount in there pharmacy.
I had to wait about an hour, but i understand because I came for a walk-​in. I didn’t mind since I brought something to read and there was a movie playing in the middle of the room to keep everyone occupied.
The workers here are very helpful and nice. They got me situated quickly with good manners. The nurse practitioner who helped diagnose my problem was very professional and helped me very efficiently. It was busy, but she listened to my problems. She prescribed antibiotics for my condition and communicated with another nurse if that was a good decision. Signs of good communication. I can tell this office works really well together. My prescription ended up being only $ 5. Their pharmacy employees were very nice as well. I recommend this place to anyone with no health insurance due to financial issues.

I went upstairs to the walk in clinic and the service was great.
The ladies there were really nice and helpful.

This place is okay. Chose this place to take my kids to the doctors so I would have an excuse to go shopping. Lol jk. I live in Waianae (Nanakuli) and I know this place seems far but it seems the same distance to me. This place is bigger than the old clinic but the wait time is really ridiculous. They have a pharmacy in the same place & a walk-​in clinic upstairs.
