Henry Strozier, LAc

Henry is amazing! Besides having a great personality to compliment his outstanding customer service, he’s also very intuitive. For those of you who don’t know, this is an extremely important element in reference to alternative healing. I’ve been an advocate of acupuncture for 10-​years now and am a living testiment to the healing properties and all its successes. Hands down, I’m thrilled about his location on the westside and looking forward to my next wellness visit!

I have been having to re write all my reviews, and did not want to forget Dr. Henry, who is a wonderful acupuncturist. My husband and I had been seeing Dr. Henry a while back, and saw immediate results. Dr. Henry is very attentive to what your needs are and translates symptoms through the scope of TCM. I had prior knowledge of how TCM works; however, I always learn something new when I go in. Dr. Henry uses a plethora of techniques, and also specializes in Chinese herbals. I am due for a «tune-​up»

I wasn’t able to see Henry because he wasn’t working the day I wanted to see him, but he was kind enough to quickly refer me to someone else who was amazing.

Henry is super knowledgable & friendly, making you feel comfortable from the start. This clinic is very new, clean & professional. I’ve had low back & neck pain (from a car accident) for a really long time & his treatments really make a difference. I will be sure to continue seeing him, (for pain & any issues) as I have experienced positive results from each visit. I would definitely refer him to anyone.

Henry has a calming demeanor. He is very attentive and listens to the patient when formulating his assessment and plan. I felt very comfortable in his care. I highly recommend him.

Henry is one of the people I miss most since we moved back to the mainland. Henry was able to get me in last minute following an IUI that ultimately resulted in a positive pregnancy test (and that was my 1^st appointment with him). I was able to continue seeing Henry until my 4^th month of pregnancy when we moved. I highly recommend Henry and wish I could return for his acupuncture/​cupping services (he’s also just a really great person to talk to).

AWESOME is how I feel after every visit!!! Henry has helped my stomach aches w/​acupunture and herbs and relieved back tension w/​cupping (cupping feels incredible). He has also worked on my son who had an ankle injury from Wrestling. I highly recommend Henry to all my family and friends. He is easy to talk to, funny, and has some good stories. Check him out, even if you have to drive a distance… it’s totally worth it!
Heads up– check your insurance because Henry is in network with HMSA, HMAA, and Kaiser.

I’m not a big acupuncture fan, but since meeting Henry he’s made my visits very pleasant and fun. He’s very knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He really takes the time to listen to my concerns and really works w/​my needs. His herbs are really easy to take and so far I can feel some difference in my overall health. I would recommend him to my friends & family. Awesome location too.

After moving here from the mainland, I was looking for an acupuncturist. I was thrilled to find Syam Center and Henry! His treatments have kept me headache free and are mending my reflux. It’s a double bonus that Henry is not only extremely knowledgable but also super personable! Highly recommend!

I started seeing Henry about six months ago for the treatment of multiple autoimmune and digestive conditions that had become exacerbated. I was bed-​ridden and extremely sick, unable to function at all in my daily life.
Henry has treated me both with acupuncture and herbs. Not only do I feel better and have had tangible positive results from my treatment, I have also regained much of my physical independence.
Henry really understands my conditions AND their impact on my life, both symptomatically and mechanically, much better than my conventional doctors. He looks at the whole picture, and is also incredibly intuitive. He always understands exactly what I’m trying to describe (and usually doing a poor job of putting into words!) and will repeat it back to me in a completely holistic picture that makes total sense. He takes a lot of time with his patients to understand any and all factors that may be contributing to the ailment and really thinks through every aspect and possible consequence of treatment (which I greatly appreciate since I’m so used to having doctors throw pills at me without further thought, only to suffer worse consequences from my treatment than the diseases themselves on multiple occasions).
Additionally, despite my complicated case, Henry jumped at the challenge to take me on as a patient (I’ve had doctors who will not treat me because my case is so complex). Henry has worked with me as a team in my treatment, taking care to listen to my ideas and explain his. He has been continuously optimistic, and his treatment has proven why — it works! He has gone the extra mile at every opportunity, even giving me some herbs to try with my freak of a cat who was practicing her own version of not-​so-​pleasant acupuncture on me — she is now much calmer and I sleep better at night. :)
Henry’s treatments have left me with more energy, less pain, relief, profound calm, and a better, simpler outlook on managing my entire health situation.

I was looking for a new acupuncture practitioner after mine moved away. A friend recommended Henry, and he treated me for several months for my chronic Lyme disease which was exacerbated by hormonal changes related to menopause. Very unpleasant. He treated me with both herbs and acupuncture, and the difference in my life was amazing.
Henry is an intuitive healer and every session with him left me feeling energized and grounded. The decrease in my distressing symptoms was significant. He helped me to identify self care activities that prolonged the effects of his treatments, and reconnected me with my body and a sense of wellness that I thought was beyond my reach.

Absolutely awesome! I’ve had hip and knee pain for years, and hiking around Oahu just made them worse. I had never tried acupuncture, but went here based on a friend’s recommendation, and I could not be happier. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and best of all … my joints feel great!
