We are a Drafting Service that can prepare Construction Drawings from conception and design, through Permitting. We utilize a 3D CAD program that offers exceptional renders. We Draft Plans and Blueprints for Additions, Renovations, Remodels, and New Home Construction for Residential and Commercial properties. We are committed to providing our Clients with a Superior final Product. We have a strong desire to become the best that we are able to be.

History

Established in 2002.

I founded Blue Hawaii Drafting Services over twelve years ago. I saw the need for a Drafting Company that produced excellent drawings to build from, as well as, one who was accountable to their clients. I heard the cries from several of my early clients, about those individuals they had hired, who did not return their calls after several months, or who completely disappeared. I also saw the plans which were submitted which left out critical construction information. I thought to myself if I were the Contractor or Carpenter, or if I were the Homeowner, would I want plans such as these? I decided from that moment on, I would provide accurate, complete plans which would enable both the Homeowner and the Contractor, to work together effectively and efficiently to provide the desired finished product with as little trouble, and headache as is possible.

I have lived and worked in Hawaii for over 30 years.

I started out in the Construction trades as a Laborer, and worked my way through to become a Framing Carpenter. In my years as a Carpenter I built projects such as the Keck Observatory High atop Mauna Kea on the Big Island, the 20,000 sq. ft. Bakken Home on the Kohala Coast, Condominiums, single family homes, and shopping centers.

After incuring an injury in which I fractured several bones in my hammering wrist, I was sent back to school in 1992 at Hawaii Community College in Hilo HI. where I really took a liking to the drafting profession. I was an Honor student who Made the National deans List 4 out of 4 semesters as well as earning several scholarships from the local Carpenters Union.

I have over 20 years now as a drafting company along with my ten plus years in carpentry, I bring quite alot of experience to the table.

I have developed somewhere over fifteen hundred plans for new homes remodels and additions in these years.
