History

Established in 1991.

Kevin Cram has been a SNUBA Program Coordinator on Kauai since 1988. Kevin began his Kauai Hawaii based SNUBA Tours of Kauai business in 1991, and has been enjoying himself ever since! Kevin enjoys introducing people from all over the world to the unique underwater experince SNUBA has to offer. Kevin and his family have lived on Kauai since 1988.

We went snuba diving with Kevin and Sean from snuba tours of Kauai and it was a major highlight of our honeymoon. They were so nice, knowledgeable and we felt safe in their hands! Also, Kevin was quick to point out cool sea life while we were diving and even picked up a sea cucumber and let us touch it! I couldn’t recommend this more! We loved this experience and would only want to do it with Snuba tours! Mahalo!

Kevin accepted and took us in for the snuba session last minute and gave me and my parents an awesome first snuba experience! Snuba is fun and Kevin was just so pleasant to be around! Snuba is like a crossover between scuba diving and snorkeling without having to carry your own oxygen tank. Kevin & Cathy, thank you for making our trip so much more fun with the snuba highlight.

This was probably the coolest new thing I have done. It is in between snorkel and scuba and very easy to do. My husband did this last week on our trip to Kauai and the only thing I would change, is being able to do it for a longer period of time. I felt like it ended too quickly but probably because I was having so much fun: p. I would highly recommend this activity to people wanting to try something new. Love Love Love

Very nice experience. Kevin did an amazing job of making everybody feel safe & welcome. Snuba takes place right next to the meeting spot which is near the Beachhouse Café. Lots of snorklers in the area so it can get a little crowded near the beach.
Variety of sea life was a bit limited compared to other locations and there was more turbulence near the beach than I’d care for.

Kevin and his assistant did an excellent job describing what to expect and how to operate the equipment during the dive. Kevin had excellent knowledge of the many fish species and plants/​corals we saw during the dive. It was a very pleasurable experience.

This was an awesome experience. Done lots of snorkeling on Kauai and the Big Island, but this was a unique experience. Kevin (and Shawn) very very personable, professional and PATIENT !! Wow, they just got everyone comfortable (we had 4 in our party) and the fun was on. Kevin found an octopus and a moray eel for us and we saw lots of other local reef fish — a beautiful wrasse included. This is a great adventure for all levels of water lovers.

My sister & I are not huge swimmers & our snorkeling experience has been limited, but Kevin was great, very patient with us, & moved us along at a comfortable pace. I was nervous at 1st & had to get around the idea that breathing underwater is okay, but by the end I had let go of the line that attaches to the float & was swimming down there fine. It is better than snorkeling because you can see so much more, without the equipment & hassle of scuba. For anyone who is skeptical or nervous, trust me, Kevin will guide you without pushing too fast so you can have a great experience!

Kevin and Bradlee were awesome. This experience is something I would never have tried without the coaxing of my husband and sister-​in-​law. Once we were out in the water I was ready to give it up and swim back to shore (the whole breathing under water thing was just counterintuitive) but Bradlee stayed above the water with me and talked me though taking it one step at a time. By the half way mark I was asking him to help me put my weight belt back on and enjoying the underwater. The fish were so beautiful and the exerience of being under the water with them was something I will remember forever! MAHALO Bradlee!

Very Good Experience. It’s better than Snorkeling b/​k you can go deeper longer and swim with the Fish. We even saw a Sea Turtle!:-) My wife is a beginner swimmer and she had so much fun she wants to go again:-)lol

Kevin is awesome. This experience was so worth it. I’m PADI certified and have quite a few dives under my belt, but I my girlfriend is not. This was the perfect intro to diving in a safe, convenient, really fun package.
