called before i decided to take my five year old in to the ER because she has had a fever for the last twenty four hours. spoke to william, an RN and he recommended to bring her in just in case.
this ER is located two minutes away from my house so it’s very convenient. the receptionist was nice and had me sign in and fill out the paper work accordingly.
the MD showed us to the room and then linda, another RN came by to ask my daughter how she was feeling and take her vitals. the doctor checked her out, too. ear, nose, throat, breath sounds, etc.
this was my first experience at this ER, and i will definitely opt to come here vs the one in town if need be since it’s so convenient.
the rooms are very clean and you can tell the staff cares for their patient’s well being.

Betty Dilley is awesome. Nurses are nice too. Receptionist rude and unfriendly. But the rest of the staff is on point.

Came to the ER for my severe tooth root canal pain one evening. The service fast, and the staff were really nice, even the ER Doctor. I would recommend this ER to anyone. Thanks!

Ugh.
The one place in Kauai we DIDNT want to go on our vacation.
Our daughter took a spill in the hotel room and lacerated both the inside and outside of her lower lip and so we had to take her in right away to either get stitches or rule them out.
We headed over to the ER to find it empty — a nice switch from the hours long waits at ERs in SoCal. The receptionist was very nice and got our paperwork in order right away. We probably waited all of five minutes before getting in to be seen.
Ernest (i’m not sure if he was a PA or a nurse) came by to look at the wound and clean it out.
Not too long after he was done, Ryan, the MD, came by to take a second look. He recommended derma bond for the exterior wound and stitches for the inside — however we would need to fully sedate the baby. Since he did say the stitches weren’t necessary, we opted not to do it. He fully understood and glued the outside wound shut.
We were out of there in about an hour all fixed and ready to enjoy the rest of the vacay.
All in all it sucked to have to go there, but everyone was nice, considerate and professional. Going to the ER is never fun, but at least it wasn’t hard.
