History

Established in 2007.

Aloha Ever After was set up by Timory McDonald, as a way of combining her talents in planning and organizing with her romantic side. Timory loves helping couples (from all over Kauai, Hawaii, the USA and the world) create their dream wedding on the gorgeous tropical island of Kauai. In addition to offering excellent wedding planning, wedding reception planning and other event coordination, Timory has also offered first-​class photography services since the start of Aloha Ever After.

Business Owner

Timory is the owner, house photographer, on-​site coordinator and founder of Aloha Ever After. She is a world traveler and adventurer. She moved to Kauai in 1999 and loves the island beyond words. After traveling the world she had the option to live wherever she wanted to, and chose to both live and marry on the gorgeous island of Kauai. As Timory says, «Kauai is the most beautiful place on Earth and has a wonderful community of kind people. Why would I want to live anywhere else if I could live here?»

She is now the mother of two beautiful boys born on Kauai and in her profession she loves to help couples and families make their dream wedding become a reality on this island paradise. Timory has a unique gift for connecting with people — she is a natural when it comes to planning and organizing your special wedding event.

Timory took her time on the photographs very meticulous and listens to you if you want anything different.

I can’t say more about how amazing you made our day! Caitlin was amazing during the time leading up to our special day and even more amazing the day off! She made my mom and I look like princesses! Timory although I did not meet her till the day off our wedding was amazing she made the ceremony go just as a we requested and even more memorable! The musician, videographer, and pastor also we all great! I was completely nervous and Timory made me feel at ease and made my wedding day one that I will never forget! Ohh also I have a four year old and Timory even was able to keep her attention so that we could enjoy our day! We used Aloha Ever After for our wedding October 2014 and were very pleased with the service we received. We planned everything online or telephone. Timory and Joel went above and beyond to make sure our day was very special. The attention she gave to details was amazing and you just won’t find a kind or sweeter person to work with, I was so nervous and she took that right away. My partner and I had a more elaborate wedding ceremony and reception in Atlanta, Georgia with family and friends and then flew to Hawaii for our honeymoon and civil ceremony. We wanted something simple, yet lovely, and Joel and Timory delivered without a doubt. They made the process simple, but it was imbued with meaning and the importance that such a moment should have. Our pictures are lovely, and we received them back with lightning speed. A million thanks to these two for making our civil ceremony everything we could have asked for!

We took family pictures while in Kauai and Timory did an AWESOME job! She was so thoughtful, took her time with us… we never felt rushed… and insured she got some great shots and made sure everyone was happy before she left. She was very sweet, professional and worked well with the little ones we had (18months, 3 and 6 years old). We had 12 family members at our photo shoot and all were happy and very pleased with the pictures. I would highly recommend her and we will definitely use her again should our travels take us back to Kauai.

Tiimory at Aloha Ever After is truly an Angel! I used her and her associates for photography, videography, and photo booth for our wedding in Kauai on 11÷11÷13. She went above and beyond our expectations! Her attention to detail, considerate mannerism, and sweet heart really is an asset to any event… especially the big day! Our photos were superb, the video makes me cry like a baby everytime, and the photo booth pictures are absolutely hilariously fun! Please do not settle for any other option… Timory is definitely the only choice for photography (and any kind of wedding support) in Kauai!!!

I found Aloha Ever After through google search and I contacted them by email. Kimberli responded to my email and also contacted me over the phone. She was very resourceful and gave us ideas and options for the type of wedding we were looking for. We picked the Simple Yet Elegant Wedding and they took care of all the appointments for us including the bouquets, leis, and gave us a break down list of the officiant’s that you choose to do your wedding and among other things. Kimberli, and I exchanged emails and phone calls and was answering my questions on weekends and on her days off. I also requested for a make up artist last minute and they found an awesome hair and make up artist for me. They are very detailed and I received all of the information I needed a week before the wedding and was readily available the day before and on that day of our wedding making sure that we do not get lost. If you do get lost they will accommodate the spot of where you want to get married just as long as its on the same Location and not a sacred ground. Timory our photographer was awesome, experience and very professional. Overall, my wedding was stress free and our friends enjoyed our small but intimate wedding. I would definitely recommend Aloha Ever After to friends who are getting married in Kauai.

I attended a wedding that was planned by Aloha Ever After and was floored by how wonderful it was. The coordinator made a simple beach wedding seem glamorous and beautiful (and amazingly comfortable too.) As far as I could tell every detail was taken care of; flowers, music, bathrooms (important for an outdoor wedding), childcare and entertainment.
Although I have no plans on getting married anytime in the near future, if I did and it was going to be on Kauai, I would definitely use Aloha Ever After.
