The Westport Historical Society has done a great job in preserving the history of this little city. Until I visited, I had no idea that Westport is home to several historic national trails and trade routes. I came for the BBQ and left with a greater knowledge of the area. Spend some time in the area because there’s lots of little known history right here in this little place!
