Here at WellSpring School of Allied Health, we’re about helping other people — particularly with regard to their health and wellness. With industry-leading educational programs in massage therapy, medical assisting and personal training, WellSpring’s sole focus is training professionals for the allied health field. This unique and focused approach to career education allows us to keep class sizes small and provide a high level of training to each and every student who has a passion for empowering others to be healthy. From our real-life experienced instructors, to our human-centered teaching approach, to our comprehensive wellness-based curriculum, WellSpring isn’t just another career school. History
Established in 1986.
The school was originally founded by Terry Oglesby as the Massage Therapy Training Institute (MTTI). MTTI became the first massage program in Missouri to be recognized by the Missouri Department of Higher Education, and soon became the largest and most revered massage program in the area.
In 2002, MTTI was acquired by Well-Spring Resources, Inc. with the broadened mission of becoming the premier career training school for the entire health and wellness field. The school later changed it’s name to WellSpring School of Allied Health. In 2007, a NASM certified Personal Training Program was added, soon followed by Medical Assisting. In 2014, the school added a Nutrition & Wellness Coaching Program, and an Integrative Massage & Wellness AOS Degree Program for students wanting to elevate themselves to the top of the profession by adding additional training in either Advanced Massage Techniques (Track 1), or by taking selective classes from the Personal Training Program (Track 2).
