Sallas Auto Repair is a family-​owned, local auto repair center that prides itself on great customer service. Here in Kansas City for 15 years, we’re conveniently located just East of Hwy 71 and South of Red Bridge Rd.

We work on all makes and models of vehicles domestic & foreign, whether it’s your family van, your first car or your company’s delivery truck. We employ ASE Certified Technicians who stay up to date on the always evolving auto industry and use the same diagnostic equipment as the dealership! We offer complimentary rides to and from home/​work, and are happy to deliver or pick up your vehicle so you don’t miss work or have to arrange a ride.

History

Established in 1993.

Nick Sallas founded Sallas Auto Repair in September 1993. The business began as a two-​bay shop with Nick and his mom running the show. Today, the shop consists of 10 service bays and 12 employees. Nick’s wife Carla joined the company in 1998 to help bridge any gaps between administration and production.

Now Nick oversees the operation of the entire business, including our second location in Overland Park on 87^th St., but you can still find him under the hood at least once a week!

Nick is a «Master Certified» technician, however within a handful of years after starting his own business he has dedicated himself to the operation of the business rather than focusing on the actual cars.

During Nick’s 10-​year tenure with Goodyear, the company sent him through all their training programs. Nick also went through Goodyear’s «Highest Driveability» program in Sacramento, CA. Nick has also worked for General Motors and Honda, and is very experienced with the vehicle technology found in those models. Honda trained Nick out of the company’s Chicago, IL location.

As his own business grew, Nick quickly realized he needed management training and has attended MANY training classes to grow the business properly. He has honed his skills in customer service, finances, marketing and still attends classes on vehicle technology.
