This place was my first time for me to visit. I really am disappointed in this restaurant’s service. We have ordered only two meals but none of our food came. Even though we waited for about 30 minutes. Later on the server came and said«I am so sorry that I did not bring you guys food. Well, the cook cooked the other one while he is cooking second one the other food got cold so we are re-making it.» So we were about to order something else while we are waiting but the server left us without waiting for us to order. She went to the other tables and having a big conversations with the other customers. I felt really not happy about how they were not good at service. Even though, we ordered earlier than the other tables because the other tables’ food came first.

PF chang’s use to be my favorite restaurant. Until I moved from my small town to Kansas City, and experienced other delicious, local restaurants. I’m not sure if it is my personal standard that has shifted or the quality of Chang’s food. I went today for lunch and was shocked by the high prices for how small the portions are(my husband was especially disappointed). Thank goodness we got an appetizer because the lunch portion would not have been enough food. As for quality, both our plates looked as if the food had been sitting out under a heater for some time. The food had good flavor, but did not taste fresh. On the bright side, our waiter was friendly and prompt. My advice: if you are looking for good Chinese food in KC check out Blue Koi. It’s KC local(one location in Leawood and one in Westport). They make homemade noodles, delicious lettuce wraps, and pricing and portions are much more sensible. You can get more food sharing a meal at BK than you can at PF Chang’s with separate lunch meals.

Not as good as other chains. Service wasn’t swift enough. It was a rush time on Valentine’s day afternoon. Few reasons for my rating are: Plates given weren’t clean, no water served, we had to wait for the order to be taken even though they were free. Not visiting anytime soon.

I go here often for lunch but this was a first for dinner. I took my son & his gf and we tried everything. Our waitress Amber was awesome helping us find the dinner for 2 package so we could try a little of everything. She refilled my son’s drinks before he even asked. She had a great attitude. The dim lighting was wonderful. The kids got a kick out of the view from our table which was the back of a horse! lol. We had a fun night!

We went to PF Changs to celebrate a birthday. We ordered soup, appetizers and entrees. After almost 40 minutes of waiting, starving. with empty drink glasses, they came out with everything at the same time. We didn’t even have enough room on the table… We asked to speak to a manager, who just nodded his head and filled our glasses. I expected service to improve. .at least keeping our water glasses filled, and empty plates removed, but no such luck. On a positive note, the food was delicious.

So this was my first time and it definitely a time to remember. I went with a dinner party of about 12 others. After waiting about 45 minutes for food, half of our orders were delivered without the fried rice, also half of our orders were cold. The whole table was chaos. I had drank my glass of water, no one had come around to refill at all. Some of us were eating the meals without the fried rice and then other s like me were very disappointed because our food wasn’t hot. We then told the manager and he said ok I’ll fix it. He took my plate along with some others and«re-tossed» them, bringing them back to the table. As I bit into my plate I realized the food was still room temperature. I then told the manager that the food still wasn’t hot he offered to «re-toss» it again. I was Speechless. To think that I’m being charged $ 20 for a plate to be retossed 2 additional times after initially being cooked. Disgusting. I told him that I didn’t want it anymore. As I looked around the table some people still hadn’t received their fried rice. I still hadn’t received any refill on my water and I was hungry. I went to the manager and expressed how horrible this experience was and that I have been waiting to eat for over an hour and all this has happened. He then remade my plate. The crazy thing about it was that once they brought my plate to the table it stayed hot for nearly 15 minutes which had me wondering how long our food was sitting back there the first time. Anywho when it’s all said and done, that was a horrible experience. I’ll think twice the next time someone mentions going there.

Good food, good service, no problems. I had the Mongolian Beef Dinner and it was very tasty. I liked how you can request anything be made spicier. Very busy on a Weekend night so make reservations.

Always good service and good food! A lot of food for the money! There are always plenty of left overs.

The presentation is nice and preparation is consistent but the food just isn’t special and the whole concept seems a bit dated. It’s trying too hard to be upscale with an average product. A bit over-priced. Service has always been good for me, though.

The food is very rich in presence and flavor. The Great Wall of Chocolate can feed up to five people. I personally like the orange chicken. I start off though with the lettuce wraps. Overall, this would be a great place for an anniversary dinner or a wedding rehearsal dinner. FYI You need to make reservations for large parties(5& up).

Ordered to go food late last night. Meal was hot and delicious. It was ready on time. Very professional, friendly bartender gave me my food. I ordered the spicy chicken dish similar to a Generals Chicken although they don’t call it that. Also had the crab Rangoon which has actual crab in it! Could be imitation crab, I didn’t ask, but better than just normal cream cheese stuffed that cheap delivery Chinese offers. The special sauce that comes to dip the crab Rangoon in was delicious also! My only negative part of my experience was the price. 24 dollars for my order. They offered rainbow quinoa instead of brown or white rice, delicious as well! Overall I was very satisfied, will be returning next time I need my Chinese fix!

Went here for lunch with a friend. I had been many times over the years yet the service was exceptionally good and the food seemed to come out faster than usual. We will be returning more often.

It’s gotten better. I think. Okay, just a little. Went here with 10 ladies celebrating a birthday. We were seated in the far corner of the restaurant, in a semi-private area. Cool! Then we realized it’s literally right next to the takeout counter outside of the kitchen. Not so cool. Lots of people coming and going getting their takeout all night! Meals were okay. My Shrimp Kung Pao was less than spectacular. Salty shrimp with peanuts. Meh. Thankfully the standby Lettuce Wraps were still good. I’m still not sold on PF Changs.

I’m leaving 3 stars because the food was good it was well prepared, in the usual PF Chang style but the restaurant was so hot that we had to eventually leave. Although I went up to the hostess desk three times to ask her why it was so hot and to please turn the air conditioners down she gave me a completely unsatisfactory response, instead of telling me the truth, that the ac was not working. The first time I asked I got a blank stare from her. Then she told all the wait staff who all had to walk by our table to find out who was complaining about the heat. One if them even had the bad manners to fan a menu at our table. Finally when I asked for the manager, she came by and said the air conditioner wasn’t working. Why couldn’t the hostess have told me that the first time I asked? I won’t be going back to PF Chang on the plaza, there are other places with far better service and more polite wait staff, and hostesses who have some degree of intellectual capacity and communication skills. And I suggest that the next time a customer asks about the temperature in the restaurant, a simple ‘it isn’t working right’ is an appropriate response.

I must have missed the meeting when someone said that there would be a mediocre Chinese Food chain, disguised as a fancy restaurant for double the price of what normal Chinese Food should be. I’ve been driving by this place for years, and so they must be doing good business to still be in this very high rent spot. and yet for the life of me I can not figure out why anyone on this planet would pay twice as much for something they can get at a local place a few blocks away, with better service, better flavor and ½ the cost. are people that stuck up that they think this is fine dining now?‘ well, anyways, I went in last night for some General Tso’s Chicken and for a tiny container with no extras(I specifically said, just the meat, no rice) it was 17 bucks with tax. it was just ok, taste wise. it didn’t make me sick. i’ll let that settle in, then you can check online for your local Chinese place and see what they might charge for the same thing. yea, 1 star for not getting food poisoning I suppose. BTW I just went through all the reviews on here for this place and noticed that a few of the 5 Star reviews were both People out of town, and others from people who actually work at this place.(saw 2 of them last night) don’t be fooled by the star rating here folks, it’s all a scam.

We have been to PF Changs in the past and loved it. But the past time we went it was different than what we had before. We started with the lettuce wraps which were just as good as the first time. But I ordered the Orange chicken and my sister another type of meat and both of the meats were not good quality and within each bite was some type of Grissle or fat. We both had to stop eating it. For this reason if we do come back we will stick with something that doesn’t include meat for our meal.

P. F Chang’s is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants that you could find. I’ve been there so many times and every time I go there I always have a great experience. I had a graduation dinner there with my family and everything turned out really nice. We had beef and broccoli, shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice, tofu and so many other dishes. They were all delicous and the service was great. The people there are really nice and friendly. You will be given a table right away and you do not have to wait. They bring your drinks right away were as in other restaurants I had to wait for the drinks. When you walk in it smells so good that you automatically get filled up because of the smell. It was little hard to find a patking spot but this is the Plaza so you have to kind of expect that. The prices are descent. Average per person is about $ 10. I would go back there again.

Ate here with the wife and 7 yr old grandson and we were all were satisfied and happy. Had the Crab Rangoon and the plum sauce was perfect, spicy enough for adults but not to spicy for kids. Entrée we shared Walnut, melon, shrimp and rice. It was delicious. Wait staff was considerate and cared for all our needs efficiently. Atmosphere was great, music pleasant and not to loud.

Excellent. Very welcoming place on a slow FRIDAY night. Was next door at Morton’s and they were very unaccommodating. This place rocks in comparison.

Literally your typical Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, there is nothing too amazing about this place, and it’s really only one notch higher than your take out Chinese. They have all of the normal entrees available, and the taste is about, equivocally, the same. The only different is that they charge much higher than what you find at a take out restaurant. The positive is that they do have a gluten free menu, and the environment at the restaurant seems very nice. I think next time, I’ll splurge at my normal take out place and set up a nice area in my living room.
