Since 1965 the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates of Kansas City have provided comprehensive care to the greater Kansas City area. Our practice consists of four surgeons and four locations. Our multi-​surgeongroup enables us to practice a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise in dental extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery andmaxillofacial pathology. We strive to provide our patients with the most current treatment modalities and the highest quality of care in the Kansas City area. All surgeons in the practice areboard certified and our cumulative experience is second to none. Our practice has offices located in both Kansas and Missouri and our doctors have privileges athospitals in both Kansas and Missouri.

Dr Merkel is the best surgeon I have encountered in many years. As someone terrified of the dentist I was extremely nervous when a failed wisdom tooth extraction forced me to see a surgeon for a root tip removal. I was seen within one day of my phone call and the surgery was two days later. The day of surgery I was extremely nervous but Dr. Merkel took the time to reassure me that the tip removal would take only two minutes and be totally pain free. He was true to his word and it took longer for the novicane to take effect than it took for him to remove the root tip. I as in and out within obe half hour. Thank you for making a believer out of a chicken.
