M&E Photo Studio specializes in creative wedding storytelling and natural portraiture. With a consistent technical ability and a strong understanding of natural light, M&E’s portraiture is powerfully emotional, revealing, and contextually narrative. An emphasis on subtleties of relationships imbue their portraiture with an element of the unexpected.

On the fun side, M&E Photo Booth offers a creative photo booth experience like none other, with personal costuming and hilariously strange pose inspiration, a wonderful (and flattering) vintage color process, and psychedelic props and toys. M&E Photo Booth is available for events and receptions, Thanksgiving dinners, quincaneras, arctic cruises, and full-​moon barn stomps.

History

Established in 2010.

M&E Photo Studio began with the creative collaboration of Mollie Hull and Emily Lodigensky, both Kansas City photographers with distinct but complimentary visions. A symbiosis of style between the two produced a unique vision that continued to evolve as their creative freedom expanded into documentary storytelling via weddings and fashion photography.

Rooted in Kansas City’s Crossroads district, Mollie and Emily continue to strengthen and broaden their photographic repertoire and creative expression.

We are Mollie & Emily, and we created M&E Photo Studio as a collaborative space to specialize in creative wedding storytelling and natural portraiture. Through our images, we let the stories tell themselves, always aiming for powerfully emotional, revealing, and contextually narrative portraiture. An emphasis on subtleties of relationships is what intrigues us, and keeps us thrilled and endlessly excited about the work that we do and the people we meet. Our delight in personalities and unconventional perspectives imbues our work with an element of humor, magic, and the unexpected.
