Very poor service. The young ladies behind the counter were very rude and got our orders wrong. They also gave us a very tiny portion of cream cheese that hardly covered one half of a bagel. Also refused to give a cup of water after we ordered coffee and food. Coffee and food was fine, but I’ll never come back here due to the terrible service.

UGHHH. NFM’s coffee shop is just not as grand as their amazing selection of furniture. Their flavored lattes(we got a peppermint and vanilla one) was way too sweet, and the ratio of espresso to milk just seemed off. I was able to take one swig and downed it only with a disgusted grimace on my face. Bad idea. hit up a nearby coffee shop if you plan to fuel yourself for a trek through NFM. Java Land is a no-no coffee land unless you’re into horrible espresso drinks that will ruin your trip at NFM. I might be back for more oogling of furniture at NFM, but am definitely not drinking any more coffee there.

Surprisingly, even though located inside Nebraska Furniture Mart(next to the Quizno’s), this coffee shop serves PT’s coffee and espresso, uses a La Marzocco machine, and Torani syrups. I’d definitely suggest ordering just a flavored latte(as they offer more than a handful of different syrups(including many sugar-free ones)). Almost any drink can be made either hot, cold, or blended. So if you’re in the KCK area and have a hankering for browsing moderately-priced furnishings, stop by NFM and get a latte at Javaland.
