I’m guessing this is a church owned business given the name and the location. The coffee is very good, the space is larger than you typically see for a coffee shop and the service prompt and friendly. Plenty of space to get a little work done or catch up on some reading while enjoying some joe.

Good coffee, a lot of food options, and plenty of space to work make Higher Grounds a great joint. The space is very large, it has plenty of tables without looking or feeling overcrowded. And the tables at the very back have plenty of power strips, which make it a great place to work. I ordered a plain black coffee, and it was very good. The serve coffee from oddly correct, but they don’t brew with the same attention, it’s standard drip. Some may argue that this renders their coffee inferior, but I don’t really know enough to argue that point. They have plenty of other coffee and tea offerings, like what you would see at a Starbucks. Plus they have a large variety of bottled drinks, and smoothies. They also have a varied food offering, bagels, pastries, sandwiches, wraps, fruit, muffins, cookies and more at very reasonable prices. Bottom line, Higher Grounds has something for everyone, in a very pleasant and welcoming space.

This hidden little gem sells fantastic cup of coffee! Another menu item we love is the odwalla smoothie blended with cream. They will even add in a banana for free! If you are there to study or work you won’t be disappointed with the seating and table sizes!

As far as customer service goes, Higher Grounds does well. They greet people with genuine smiles. When it comes to their food items, they also do well. Most things I have tried are really tasty. As for the coffee, there is room for much improvement. The baristas seem to be trained decently on the espresso bar for speed and pretty good accuracy, however they lack the general know how of coffee. They somehow need more training, because often my shots don’t taste very good at all. And the drip coffee isn’t the best either, which is weird because they use Oddly Correct Coffee. Something seems to be greatly lacking. Overall, cool place. But they need much improvement on the espresso bar area. It takes way more than just speed and decent accuracy of the order. You need to understand the basics of what makes the coffee the way it is(good or bad).

We love it here. We’ve never had bad food here. I would say the food is reasonably priced, about the same as your local panera bread. Soup in a 16 oz cup and oyster crackers is about $ 4.50. The French vanilla latte is my favorite. I’ll add a picture! :)

I loveeee their wraps. I wish they had these in Massachusetts. Clean, friendly and a lot of variety, not to mention it’s very comfortable to lounge. I recommend their coffee of the day.

Stopped in for some hot apple cider after visiting the prayer room yesterday. Friendly staff, good prices, and a HUGE space that felt a little empty on a Sunday afternoon but I could imagine it bustling during the week.

Higher Grounds Cafè is amazing! In the morning they have amazing coffee, a wide variety of pasteries and breakfast as well. They serve also a variety of different kinds of latès and teas, and much more. Their lunch and dinner menu are salads, wraps and sadwitches which i have been very satisfied with! Higher grounds also has free WiFi which is a good place for a student to sit and study!!! They have five stars from me!

I dont like the taste of camel urine tea, but I had the BESTEVER Greek salad. I really hate to put that in my review since it is the weekend of the Greek Festival, but I have to stand by it. I really enjoyed all my favorite Greek flavors in a salad. The only thing I think could improve is their choice in olives. The hummus and bagel that I had on an earlier trip was nice as well, but the tea not so much…

Probably won’t find a more unique and anointed coffee shop elsewhere in the US. Beautiful décor, plenty of seats, horrible Wi-fi(but plenty of good company), and awesome coffee to keep you alert but not super strong to send you into convulsion during prayer! Drop by here if you have the chance, but don’t spend too much time in here! Go spend it with the Lord!
