History

Established in 2013.

Heather Hoyle and Denise Guzman worked together for over 10 years before combining their talents into HG + CO Accountants. While we offer traditional bookkeeping, accounting, & income tax services, our goal is to change the way our customers work with us. We considered repetative customer frustrations and created a modern CPA Firm business model. A few ways our approach differs from our counterparts is by offering mobile services so that you may work and access your information from anywhere. We become your professional partner, welcoming your questions because when you have big decisions to make, we want to help you make the right ones. And we don’t charge you by the phone call! Our fixed price agreements have been very well received in the small business community because they help to both budget as well as clearly define the accounting and tax services that will be provided and expectations associated with those services.

Business Owner

Heather had many «hometowns» growing up in a military family with Phoenix, AZ being the longest stay. She has called Kansas City home now for the last twenty years where she has spent the majority of that time practicing in public accounting. Never one to sit still for long, she views each customer as a puzzle; seeing the big picture, but tediously ensuring each piece fits together perfectly. She has a unique ability to take complex ideas and strategies and communicate them in a way that makes sense.

Heather is married with two children. When not working you will find her spending time with her family at one of the many activities they are involved in. She is an avid soccer fan (go Missouri Comets, Sporting KC, Blue Springs Lady Wildcats, and Alba Falkirk boys), marching band spectator (go Blue Springs Golden Regiment), karate mom, and soon to be baseball fan. She enjoys concerts, especially Bön Jovi anywhere within a four hour radius, and local festivals and community events.
