Days Inn – Near Kansas Speedway

Stayed here two nights
Service was friendly for the most part however I must admins day shift is much nicer then night
Housekeep very pleasant and helpful
Not sure how the indoor pool was didn’t try it
Room was big nice comfortable beds. Appeared to be remodeled recent
Laundry facility was ok
All non smoking
Pet friendly
Parking to bobtails but I wouldn’t try a trailer too
My biggest complaint was the key card reader on the side door didn’t work so had to walk all the way around front if you went outside
And no batteries in the remote but front desk took care of that for us
I also felt it was a little pricy for a days inn
$ 15 pet fee
All in all ok for a good nights rest

For the rates this was a good deal. Let’s face it, Days Inn’s are not Hilton or Marriotts. You pay for what you get. These are low to middle class accommodations and for the price the room was clean and amenities were functional. Breakfast was basic but adequate.

Ok hotel in a pinch. We had 2 rooms. 1 had an oder that we couldn’t define. The other, the hairdryer was broke, had to get on a chair to reset the cable box every time we turned the tv on & the office chair was very worn. Breakfast was minimal.

Good hotel for the price you pay. Friendly staff when we first walked in. There were a few issues, one of them being the remote on the TV. That and all the other things were quickly taken care of. My only minuses were no hot tub, no microwave or waffle iron for the breakfast buffet. But everything else was satisfactory. The rooms were a bit small but still had plenty of room and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Lots of channels with DirecTV. Nice hotel and centrally located near the Legends, the speedway and Sporting Park. Definitely a recommended stay.

Stayed here while driving through. It is newer and looks nice on the outside. Room was tiny, and AC was loud, bathroom also tiny. The front desk staff was less than helpful, unfriendly, and generally had poor customer service skills. When I got to the front desk, a woman was there and said someone else would help me soon because she was off. Other employee finally comes to check me in, shirt un-​tucked, and acts like I am inconveniencing her to check in. While I’m checking in a gentleman comes in after me and waits, again, other employee lets him know she is off-​the-​clock. He was being friendly, and they ignored him. Get to my room, and call for a wake up call. Come morning, I wake up an hour late because no wake up call was received. This set me back an hour on the road to my destination. I’m sure it was the same woman at the front desk who didn’t put my wake up call in. Ugh! Next time, I would keep driving to Kansas City, MO to have a wider variety of accommodations.

The rooms have no bedspreads and they have a fitted sheet, reg sheet, then a thin towel like blanket with another bed sheet over it on the bed. When I went to the desk to ask for a blanket I was told ‘I gave the last one out HOURS ago.’ I went back to the desk to inquire about something and startled the clerk who was sitting with their feet up sleeping.
The walls are so thin and the room doors slam so hard that it was difficult to get continuous sleep. It was just not a good experience…

Nice hotel, I have to admit I was impressed.
Large room, drawers, cabinets with storage, kitchen type area with a sink, microwave, and fridge. Hotel was Quiet, and free wifi. Very comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast included, topped it off before checkout.
If your looking for a clean hotel, updated hotel without spending Hilton money… here you go!

While this is definitely a budget hotel, I still give it four stars. Traveling along 70, I was in need of a place to crash. After reading the reviews on
of this hotel, I was leery. But I went for it, and was glad I did. My room was clean, had no smell. The bed was *very* comfortable. I even got a late check-​out to keep sleeping in said comfy bed. I checked for bed bugs (you have ONE bad experience and learn). Sheets were clearly fresh. Easy on/​off 70 access. Safe area.
A few tiny «meh» things, but all minor and did not deter from a great night sleep:
— dripping bathtub faucet (I just shut the bathroom door)
— you had to hold the handle on the toilet extra long to ensure it flushed properly (again, minor)
— one of the outlets didn’t work (there were plenty working others)
I would surely stay here again if passing through. For the value, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.

Dirty rooms with very dirty towels. The advertised pool is a joke, though that was not part of my decision process. The clerk lied about the tax for the room. Generally avoid.
