Sigh… this shouldn’t be people’s introduction to KC and Boulevard beer. Come on Boulevard, you need to represent. The beers fine of course, but you should have more selections of your wares. Service is sketchy, but the food is sad. Your microwave must get quite the workout. The prefabbed chicken strips on the nachos are a freak of nature. Factory formed nuked chicken strips is just gross. There was one strip that was so long, if it was real the chicken would have stood 5 feet. You should rethink what you wanted this place to be.

Awful, awful service! The food is mediocre at best, but then you throw awful and inattentive service on top of it… I left feeling like they should be paying me to eat here oppose to the other way around.

Good beer and food but the service is terrible for my first time visit while I wait for my plane to take, which is why I give it only two stars.

Didn’t actually eat here but it’s in an airport if you’re in a hurry don’t bother waited 15 minutes for someone to even come by our table never saw a waitress. The biggest problem is the seat yourself attitude, that assumes you get a waitress who is paying attention. Several tables came after us and their waiter attended to them and said ours should be along sometime.

Sat here for 20 minutes as servers walked by without even acknowledging me. you would think at an airport the staff would be respectful of the time sensitivity. Guess i ll eat in Atlanta. i ll never be back here to grab a bite to eat.

Not bad but the service was kind of slow. Albeit the slow service the waitresses were very nice but they seemed overwhelmed. The food is okay but nothing to write home about. It’s a place outside of the gates to enjoy a few brews before you either head onto a plane or onto a bus. Not many other choices around to compete. Recap: 1. Beer selection on top is limited 2. Food choice is limited 3. Service was average

If you’re hungry, don’t go. Took at least 15 minutes to get a beer and put in my order. Watched my nachos sit in the window for a good 20 minutes before they came out… And trust me, they were about as tasty as a homemade batch from a microwave. Stop here every time I fly out of KC because it is literally the only place to go. Eat before you come. Or eat the snacks from Starbucks. Inifintely better than the crap at this place and probably cheaper. Better yet, eat on the airplane. Their terrible tv dinners are about half the cost and have twice the flavor. Beer is good though.

Writing my first review on Unilocal because of this place. Avoid it if possible. Okay service and terrible food. You’d be better off eating a collection of snacks from the newsstands around this outdated airport.

One star for the buffalo grilled chicken salad. Ugh. The chicken breast was not evenly warm so guessing it’s pre-made as is the salad — from a bag via Costco(or similar). They simply poured a small drizzle of Frank’s on a luke-warm chicken breast sitting on a small handful of bagged salad. This was lower quality than I have received from McDonald’s late at night. The beer gets 3 stars — average — for unfiltered wheat. It’s ok but not worth walking very far for. Server was nice but clearly not dedicated to his role. Overall felt like they know we are ‘hungry hostages’ and they are punishing us for traveling through KCI. They do have TVs w sports playing. Overall, Dreary. On the plus side the entire experience does make me look forward to getting home.

Nice selection of beers, good service, and people seem to like the food — lots of clean plates going back to the kitchen. Food: 2⁄5: We ordered the chili and it was really bad — canned generic, not even hot. Beer: 4.5÷5 We sat and had drinks due to a delayed flight, but didn’t have anything besides the chili. The Funky Pumpkin seasonal brew was AWESOME. I wasn’t expecting a pumpkin SOUR and was really happy with it. Service: 4.5÷5 server was organized, efficient, patient, and friendly

I’ve been sitting here for 20 minutes with no water. What the heck is wrong with these people? It’s a small restaurant and everybody here has to catch a flight so you’d think there would be some sense of expediency.

Wow. This is in an airport so you think they would be fast. Not. If you are in a hurry. Do not stop in. It took 10 min to get my drink and 30 to get food. May be understaffed, but it’s an airport! Not even a smile from the server and I saw 4 people leave because they were never acknowledged. Sad.

Went in for a Burger and Coke. Like many airport food places they seem oblivious to the fact that almost all people here are on a finite time schedule. Waited 30, Yes 30 minutes for my food. Never received it and to add insult to injury, charged over 3.00 for my Coke. I’m sorry Boulevard, you make a great beer, but should probably give your name to another location.

One teeny tiny lady on service, but she is FABULOUS. She knows the menu well, has a lovely Southern accent and hospitality flair. Between you and me, I’m excited to try the food despite the reviews. I know I love Boulevard beer — I’m looking forward to my flight… of beers… to help with my flight to ATL. Great view of the Tarmac from my corner booth. Half a dozen other tables filled up while I studied the menu — must be a busy time at KCI.

Horrible service. Dirty tables everywhere. Gives airport food a bad name… just kidding, that’s not really possible, is it? Well, it fits with whatever reason you think airport food is bad.

Not bad. I stopped in for some fish and chips since I had some time to kill before boarding. The waitress was very nice, the service was prompt, and the food was delicuous. Quiet place for a Friday afternoon and it’s how I like it. There about 3 – 4 TVs on various sports channels(mostly ESPN). and the best part is that they serve Boulevard beer. duh. If you have some time to kull… come over and tip back a few. It’s the only bar in this terminal anyway. Also. they serve breakfast until 1030, daily. Cheers.

Stopped in at the airport. Just ordered sweet potato fries and a drink. The fries were good, but the menu highlighted dipping sauces to come with the fries that didn’t. A little disappointed that I just got straight bbq sauce and ketchup. Service was prompt but again no smiles on the waitress. Must be a dissatisfying job as an airport restaurant waitress.

Stopped in while waiting for my plane. had the chicken Caesar salad and a glass of the cab. Food and wine were good. Place was clean, glass wine was served in was clean but servers were a little loud and obnoxious. Talked with car tender about personal business and were singing to music. A little aggressive for me. My server was sitting reading the newspaper when I sat down and it appeared to be inconvenient that I may have sat in her section and she had to get up and wait in me will probably visit again if in the airport because there really isn’t anywhere else.

Not bad as far as MCI airport bars go. I have been satisfied with the Cobb salad here or the Caesar with salmon. The beer(of course) is very nice here as well. The service is pretty good and friendly too.

I came here to waste time while waiting for my mom to arrive(coming in on a later flight). I set up my laptop and ordered the cheapest thing on the menu(soup of the day, chicken noodle, around $ 7). The waitress brought me some water, my soup came out quick, and I set up my laptop(unfortunately was unable to connect, but that’s another story). The soup was pretty gross, probably was Campbells. Very overpriced, should have been $ 4, or less. I give them 2 stars for the nice waitress, and the soup wasn’t inedible.
