I was craving milk tea and decided to stop by to get Thai iced milk tea. BBIG mistake! It was horrible, watery and had no taste. The only thing okay thing about the drink was the soft tapioca balls. Do not get their milk tea, its a waste of money. The worker was nice.

The phở factory has a mission statement declaring that they provide authentic Vietnamese cuisine, I do not agree. The quality of the food did not equate to the price of the food. My entire family went to eat for a birthday and the service was terrible. We all ordered a variety of plates, and the best was the curry. The roles were tastes. The worst part of Phở Factory is the customer service.

I like the food, it’s good. But I am really upset I ordered spring rolls and it only came with 3 instead of four. Plus I found a hair in my food My hair is NOT wavy. Definitely check your food before leaving.

The phở wasn’t bad but compared to other places I’ve visited like Cuu Long(my favorite place) or Saigon Cuisine(a close second), the broth seemed to be watered down. They don’t offer much condiments for your phở(i.e. bean sprouts, thai basil, lemon, etc) and the temperature of the broth is barely hot enough to cook the raw steak. The noodles were okay and beansprouts were crunchy. The spring and summer rolls were excellent and the peanut sauce provided for the spring roll was flavored nicely. The summer rolls were crispy on the outside and not too oily. The filling was also flavovred quite nicely. if they put as much effort in making their phở as they did in the spring and summer roll, they would get a better review from me. The clerk seemed to have problems taking orders due to a poor command of English but did get the order correct. The other clerk cleaning off the counter, snapped at me to leave my dirty dishes on the counter, when I asked her what to do with it. I didn’t feel very driven to leave any money in their tip container that night. As far as Phở goes on the Windward side, they’re one of the few and the easiest to find. After this last visit, I’m not sure if I’ll be back.

A new restaurant planted itself in windward mall. As I shopped at the farmer’s market, hubby decided to try this restaurant to take out: and share: Seafood phở — 3 stars — it’s like a food court type of meal, and for $ 9.50, there were scarce noodles and the broth was super salty. They also gave only one small branch of basil and a small handful of bean sprouts. Summer roll — 3 stars — for $ 5, there were a lot of lettuce and bean sprouts, but no basil or other herbs, and 3 shrimps in each roll. The taste was a little less than your average roll. Overall, the food was ok as a fast food type of meal, but doesn’t come close to restaurant quality.

I was pleasantly surprised with the phở here. I had the 3 meat phở combo. It comes with a good size bowl of phở, two spring rolls and a medium drink. The price was around $ 12 with tax. It was very very filling. The broth was flavorful & delicious. I was craving phở and didn’t really check out the rest of the menu. I’ll definitely go back and try something new next time.

Convenient location inside the Windward Mall with lots of parking. I ordered the meat lovers with the spring roll combo. The bowls are big with a decent amount of meat and noodles. Add along two spring rolls and a drink all for around $ 12.00, and its a great deal!

A decent place for phở if you’re at Windward Mall and in the mood for phở. I had the beef phở and they give you a ton of noodles. It’s a good value if you get the combo with comes with your choice of side and a drink.

Went in today and order spicy beef soup and in my phở there was a whole lot of white hair. Looked at me and literally asked if I wanted another one. sorry it was good in the beginning and the the service was bad and now this 3 strikes taking a little break away may give it another shot later on down the road.

I ordered the oxtail phở and my hubby got the chicken phở meal. The meal was $ 3 more. It came with a drink, and choice of 1 summer roll or 2 spring rolls. We opted for the spring rolls. The only thing that was good about this place was the spring rolls. It was nice and crispy, and larger than I expected. I tasted the usual pork, long rice, carrots, and taro. It came with the sweet chili dipping sauce. I would give 4 stars for the spring rolls. Both bowls of phở were bland. It had the phở aroma but it wasn’t salty at all. The soup base is what makes the phở. My husband commented that it was the worst phở ever. Their slogan is healthy Vietnamese food. I guess if you have high blood pressure, then this is the place for you. I added in some fish sauce to the base. Then, I mixed the hoisin sauce with the chili sauce, and dipped my noodles into it. It was ok after that. Speaking of noodles, it was soft. It wasn’t the consistency that I like, al dente. They’re also skimpy with the protein. My bowl of phở was $ 11.99 and they gave me four small pieces of oxtail. The girls that were working there were nice. They were pleasant and answered my questions. I told her that I needed a lot of sauce, so she ended up giving me an extra bowl for it.

Phở factory was mediocre. You are better off going to a mom n pop hole in the wall photo restaurant. It was pricey for phở and it was small portions. I left hungry. If you’re in a hurry, its not horrible but there are far better options.

This is great. Shop, go to the movies at Windward Mall. Craving for Phở? Yay, don’t have to drive off the Mall property. I judge my phở eateries based on the broth. Phở Factory’s broth is satisfactorily very tasty! Ordered the rare steak phở meal(the«meal» includes a fountain drink and 2 spring or summer rolls). The spring rolls are good! Ok… now I’m totally full. How am I going to shop after this? Shoes are calling. Welcome to Windward Mall, Phở Factory!

I wasn’t expecting much from a restaurant named phở factory in the mall but it’s pretty good. 1st off the phở broth is very flavorful. Noodles and meat are pretty much the same as most phở places. The meat balls were a little crunchy for my taste. I went with the $ 12 combo which included 2 spring rolls(which were pretty good!) and a drink. Well worth it. I usually drive to china town for phở but I can come here now if I’m to lazy to drive to town

We came to try this new phở place in the windward mall and we were pleasantly suprised by the freshness of the food and great customer service we received. We came for lunch and let the friendly girl in the front to recommend most popular dishes from phở and the curry side. Shrimp and fish was crispy and fresh, sandwiches crunchy, all made to order. Next time we try the phở and soups. Btw the spring rolls in combo were yummy too

Wow. That was probably the worst food experience I encountered. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I’m in shock with the service & food we received. We came in 40 minutes before closing & the girl taking orders seemed irritated, I’m not sure if that had to do with anything but I work in the food industry as well & it’s still no excuse for such bad service. The proportions of the food were ridiculous & the flavor wasn’t too great. Our chicken was bland. Coconut curry was overly spicy & immediately after a couple bites my stomach was turning. The pictures advertised are intriguing but I would save my money if I were you.

I had to go to the credit union at the mall so decided to check them out since they’re right across. I’ve been waiting to try them since setting the signs posted for months ever since Taco Del Mar closed. I was going to try one of their breakfast special they have(from 9 – 11:30) but saw the sandwiches and they explained that the meat was marinated and cooked in their special combo of bbq spices and lemon grass. It sounded so good that I ordered the chicken sandwich to go. I realize they specialize in phở and that everything is made fresh to order but 15 minutes for a sandwich take out is a bit long; though I’ll give them some slack since their new. The way the sandwich was described made me so excited to taste it so maybe it was over expectation but I was a little disappointed when I finally tried it. Nothing to write home about; pretty basic flavor, nothing overly special or tasty about it. I think the lemon grass sandwich at Bale has more flavor. I’ll still give them another try next time on the phở and hopefully with time things will get better.

Have eaten here twice. I would never order the phở from here because, unfortunately, I’m a phở snob. But I did enjoy their beef sandwich(#25). The staff still seem new & not very knowledgeable on their menu & ingredients, which can be frustrating. My hopes are to see this place get their act together & become one of the better stops for something quick to eat at the mall.

I ordered oxtail phở. The broth was so bland, i think i used all of the condiments to make it taste mediocre.

Our seafood phở contained only 1 shrimp and 2 pieces of squid. The fish balls were sour and there was a chicken bone in my broth. Not coming back for phở ever again but the Thai tea was good.

The New Moon is usually a time for new projects. Therefore, it is an appropriate time for the opening of the Phở Factory! About 4 months ago, I spotted a sign, announcing a new business. The highly anticipated opening finally arrived on Friday, May 15, 2015… and I was not disappointed! It is new! Efficient! No snags! In some ways, it’s good to have negative thinking: I thought it would be crowded. I thought I wouldn’t be able to find parking. I thought there might be some«growing pains». But no — everything ran smoothly and I even found FREECOVERED parking! Woo Hoo! It was meant to be! It must be my lucky day! Located on the top level of the Windward Mall, across from the Hawaii USA Credit Union, near Straub Clinic, the Phở Factory is attached to the new Curry Café. They share the same space and employees. My phở noodles were nice and firm! The soup was perfect: not too hot; not too salty; but just right! I got the Seafood Phở. It contained squid, shrimp, and fish cake. There was a little side plate of bean sprouts, lemon wedge, fresh basil, and hot peppers. I got the combo meal which included a drink and a Summer roll(instead of the 2 Spring rolls). It was just right! Yum! …and now I can enjoy my food coma! Zzzz! Note: there is a Waikiki location
