Wonderful chocolate eclairs filled full of old school egg custard and topped with a ribbon of chocolate. Wish I had bought their custard pie but I didn’t see them until after I had ordered, they’re kept in a case on the back wall. I’ll be sure to buy one at my next visit.

Excellent turnovers!!! Tasty!!! Fresh!!! Totally delicious!!! The place is a bit old and reminds me of a neighborhood in decay, but the pastries are definitely blooming in there. What a find ^_^!!! Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjóy!!!

Very disappointed. I’ve been coming to this bakery since I was a child. This morning I went in to get a cake. From the get go, the cashiers personality was not meant for a customer service job. I allowed another customer to go before me, and the cashier was rude to her. When it was my turn, I asked if they had a certain type of cake in the back. The cashier went to the back, and grabbed the cake that I had asked for. I asked if they could write«happy birthday» on the cake. The cashier went to the back to ask. She came back and said«they can’t do it because they said that they’re too busy.» I was appalled, because I could see the three women in the kitchen that were asked to write on the cake the whole time. You can see right into the kitchen because of the clear glass wall, and door. They were talking story, laughing, not working on anything for the past ten minutes. This bakery has lost its values. It’s not the same anymore.

I used to love this place as a kid, but after my little experience tonight I will no longer patronize it. I’m so grossed out right now. I ordered 4 brownies. I watched the old Asian man with longer hair sniffle, sniffle, sniffle. He then wiped his sniffing nose with his hand. He then used this same hand and put it all the way in my brownie bag to open it up. Then I watched him put my brownies inside the bag he just stuck his nasty hand!!! If this is the kind of thing they do INFRONTOFCUSTOMERS, then I don’t even want to know what they do when no one is looking. I should have said something, but was not in the mood. I just walked out and threw all the brownies away. Never again.

They no longer sell Roast Beef Rolls. I have no reason to ever return.

I went for the cream puffs and was not disappointed. I had a few different varieties and all were tasty. Super fresh cream and flaky pastry. I liked the original version the best. I went back the next evening and enjoyed them just as much so the consistency is there.

I grew up in Kaneohe and still visit every Sunday to see my grandparents. I’ve had the long Johns and glazed doughnuts on many occasions. They taste delicious but I’m just not into the texture. I like soft, cloud like, melt in your coffee doughnuts like crispy Kreme or Kaneohe bakery’s competition next door. The long johns and doughnuts are crunchy like they were fried to long or something. This bakery does offer a lot tho. From brownies to assorted cakes and pies, to pretty packaged shortbread cookies. They even have some generic brand toys for the kids.

I’ve lived here for 20+ years… stopped in all times of the day… somehow the last two times, they ran out of brownies(their staple). Bad timing for me, maybe.

Last minute stop in, was not impressed. Some of the workers did not know what they were selling either.

Decided to stop by after driving by it so many times. Their danish pastries are my favorite. And I can’t wait to try one of their cakes or regular donuts.

This place is cute. Not the most amazing options, but cute and the service is always good. Their pastries are well made, their cupcakes, while tasty, still tasted store bought. Their cakes while cute look very homemade. I still need to try much more.

DONUTHOLES. Stupid good. Even better with a hot cup of coffee on a cold rainy Saturday morning. Malasadas are pretty tasty too!

I only come to Kaneohe Bakery sporadically, to be honest it’s probably been over a year since the last time, and probably the same since the time before then. But nothing changes! It is very easy to access from Kam Hwy and although there are not many stalls I have always found parking. They sell all kinds of baked goods so you can whole cakes and pies or just small things like pastries. There is a bakery counter but it is also designed like a store so you can pick up refrigerated beverages or packaged items. The ladies working at the counter are very friendly and attentive, and their cakes and brownies are very good. I haven’t tried anything else but on my way out I recognized a display of what I remember someone from my childhood refer to as «okole bread». I definitely plan to buy one next time I’m on the Windward side!

My mom expressly forbid doughnuts in the house growing up, so anytime I was able to gobble up some baked good I was game. Kaneohe Bakery brings me back to an alternate small kid past I could have happily lived! With elaborate breakfasting being A Thing in Kailua, Kaneohe Bakery is like a breath of fresh(doughnut-infused) air. My husband and I often stop here on a lazy Sunday for the chocolate-covered doughnut holes(contingencies: chocolate glazed yeast doughnuts and buttermilk bars). Drive up to Ho’omaluhia and you have a perfect way to enjoy your treats with a view — and an opportunity to walk them off some! I can’t speak for anything but the doughnuts(not really a cake fan to begin with), but these babies — and Kaneohe Bakery — are winners in my book.

I love their applesauce donuts! They are truly unique and I could probably eat them every day. I’ve also had their ham and cheese rolls, and I think they have one with Portuguese sausage which is good too. Used to be my favorite spot for breakfast on the way to WCC. You can order in advance from them if you want something like a large order, which is what I did when I wanted two dozen donuts. Not much parking but I never been there when the lot was completely full.

This is a donut shop and not a real bakery. A true bakery makes croissants, baguettes and other craft breads. Not impressed with the donut selection either and recommend you to drive a half-mile further down Kamehameha Hwy. until you get to Zippys as their donuts are better.

Let me just say that once you go to this bakery, you will never go back. We’ve tried almost all of their baked products. Pretty much all of the donuts and longs johns were dry, Safeway does better. Their cakes aren’t moist whatsoever. If you want a superb chantilly cake please go next door to deluxe bakery. Hand down best chantilly cake on the island. You will return there time and time again. Oh, I got a chantilly cake here tonight just because I was craving it and deluxe isn’t open on Mondays… it was SALTY as extra extra buttered popcorn. Not cool guys.

I come here for TWO things and two things only. The rest of the menu and the local mom and pop décor are wholly inconsequential to my existence. Repeat after me. Custard pie and the butter rolls, please. P-H-E-N-O-M-E-N-A-L. I’ve loved custard pie since«small kid time». Since then, I’ve grown up and moved to the mainland. This past weekend, while I was in Hawaii visiting family and attending my Popo’s 90th birthday party I made a quick stop at Kaneohe Bakery. Let’s just say that I was here for 4 days and 3 nights and on two of those days I stopped here. I introduced my friend from the mainland to custard pie. It’s not that they don’t make custard pie in Southern Cal. It’s simply that they don’t make it like they do in Hawaii. we bought 2 on the last day to take home to family and friends in Cali. My friend has declared that the next time she’s on O’ahu, she’s bringing 2 back for herself!!! The service is friendly, never yet have they been impatient while I stand there thinking… not about if I want anything else but how many custard pies I want and how many butter rolls can I stuff in my face. Parking is iffy during rush hour. Both times, on this trip, I went in the middle of the day, it’s not so bad, had plenty of space.
