Glow Putt Mini Golf

Great sober fun. My wife and I plus her sister and husband were looking to go mini golfing but the other places we wanted to go were closed. We went to the mall and almost did not go in but we were glad we did. We had a blast and we are all around 25 years old. The guy working there was super nice and had a good sense of humor. Would definitely go back.

When your high school «football» player son says, «Please mom, I don’t want to watch any games tonight», you jump on the chance to explore other family time ideas. Well on this particular evening, it was raining and the next movie showing would’ve been way past 10.
We ended up coming here surprisingly by the suggestion of my older son who’s just got done with a brutal weekend of football. It certainly won’t be anything he’ll enjoy right?
As we entered, we approached the friendly gentleman at the counter. He was very humorous and made us feel like this is where we belonged that evening. We paid the military discount of $ 6 per person. He then let each of us select a glow in the dark bracelet to keep. Then gave each of us a golf ball with different numbers on them so you know which one is yours. Finally he directs you to get your own putt. There was a variety of Putts for ages 1 month (haha serious, it was so short and cute), to a basketball player.
The entire course was 18holes and each one was difficult than it seemed. Every now and then, we would let people go ahead of us because our family is so large, we took forever at each hole. The best thing to do is not to rush and just take your time and enjoy the evening, but be courteous of those behind you and just let them go first.
My family is very competitive so it was a great evening of name calling and bashing. My son had a blast as did my hubby and the rest of my village. lol. Yours truly had a couple of hole in ones (thank you thank you) but i still lost. Ha! It’s okay.
The last hole is the most exciting hole. It’s difficult to write the excitement in words. You just have to go and check it out yourself.
When you’re done, you go back to the wonderful gentleman that greeted you and he’ll give each of you a cool flashing light that’s probably illegal to flash at other people or cars. Haha! AND if you made the last hole, you get a cool magnetic flashing light!
Our evening lasted close to 2hrs so for $ 6 per person, yup it was definitely worth it.

Originally my friends and I were supposed to go to Bay View for some triple date mini golfing, but it was pouring. So plan B was to hit up Windward Mall and check out the Glow Putt Mini Golf there since it was indoors. None of us has ever been here, so we didn’t know what to expect. I’m not gonna lie, I thought this was more for little kids. But boy was I wrong. We all had a blast!
The lady there was very friendly and hilarious. My boyfriend had his coffee, but food/​drinks were not allowed. But she kept telling him she could hold on to it on the counter while we golfed and even joked about warming it up for him if it got too cold lol. Right off the bat, I already liked her. Prices for 18 holes was $ 6 for military and $ 7 for general. My boyfriend is military, but the lady was super nice to let all 6 of us use his military rate. Score haha. After we all paid, we got to choose a color of our glow-​in-​the-​dark bracelet. We then picked our glow-​in-​the-​dark putters and glow-​in-​the-​dark golf balls and we were off to course #1. And to help keep track of your own ball, each ball had a number on it. The cool part about this place was there was a little charger glow box for our golf balls at certain courses. It was just really cool to drop you ball in and it come back glowing bright in the dark.
The 18 holes were all very different courses with their very own obstacles. Because it’s so dark, the ones that «looked» short and easy were not easy as there were little bumps hidden along the way. It was the cool obstacles that made this place fun and challenging. Because there were 3 girls and 3 boys, we made it more fun by making it boys vs. girls. Girls won! woot ;)
Great customer service, cool concept, and fun for both kids and adults, we’ll definitely be back here again!

I went there on a date on a Friday afternoon. I enjoyed playing for the first time. I will definitely be taking my kids back!

This place was fun! Good way to kill time or just take your kids for a quick game of mini golf. The fee was $ 7, (we were 20 years old, so it was probably a few dollars cheaper for the kids). The lady behind the counter was really nice and helpful. We got our own glow in the dark wrist bands and even a small prize at the end. You have a choice to grab a card and a pencil to keep track of the game & it’s about 17 stations to go through.

One night just looking to do something so I thought this one would be neat. I’ve been to a glow putt before but it’s been a long time since I have.
It was 4 of us. 2 adults 2 kids. The kids enjoyed it I really enjoyed it.
It’s 18 holes with some cool obstacles.
The man at the front was SO friendly and knowledgable I could tell he loved his job, he was a big help. His attitude in general is what would make us come back. All in all clean and very good.

This place is so fun! Especially for the price. For just $ 6 (military) per person, you get 18 holes indoor, glow in the dark. Might not be so fun if it got crowded (with all the waiting) but it was great fun today. Also, the dude at the desk was super good natured and hilarious.

This is a nice activity on the Windward side to share with a significant other (or, you know, the kids — but I don’t have kids so I can’t comment on that. there were tons of kids there having fun though lol), conveniently located at the Windward Mall near the movie theater (2^nd level).
My husband and I came here on a whim while looking for something to do before our dinner reservations in Kailua. We didn’t want to travel too far, but didn’t want to do anything too strenuous or outdoors… so we arrived here. The lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Military discount was $ 6 per person, not bad for 18 holes of mini golf. I enjoyed the inside — but then again, I love black lights and glowing things, so I was bound to be amused. :D
We got to each pick out glow bracelets before starting. The course was fun, some holes were simple and others were outrageously difficult! There were a few that I had to just take the max score of ten on LOL. I never said I was good at this, though… :P it was a fun and effective way to kill about an hour (it was busy so we had to wait for a few holes to open up) before dinner.
I could see where this would be a good place for the kiddies. You get the bracelet at the beginning AND you get to pick a glowing prize at the end… so it’s like everybody wins! :) The facility was nice and clean… will return if we ever get the urge to putt putt or if we need to kill some time again.

Took my nephew and he had a great time but the workers have no personality or enthusiasm.

Very fun! Although i subtracted a star because of how fast we went through the whole thing. Wish it was bigger :(

We love this Glow in the Dark Mini golf on Island. It is in a great location at the Windward Mall. We have been several times. This establishment makes mini golf fun, you get a glow in the dark braclet, glow in the dark golf club and ball, and they give you a prize at the end of your round. The owners are very nice and polite, great atmosphere.

This is a fun, affordable place for the rugrats on the Windward side.
We ventured out on a weekday and the place was fairly empty. We got in immediately. The girls were able to play for under $ 10. It took approximately an hour for them to play. They had an amazing time.
With bright neon posters and images of animals covering the wall, pop music of the latest and greatest stars and a somewhat challenging course, the place is fun!

This place was so cute and fun! Wasn’t a big over done deal, but was a challenging course and a great atmosphere. The staff was so friendly and a great price to play! A must do while in Hawaii it’s a great experience.

This course was challenging and interesting. The owner was really catering to guests and has a good sense of humor. I noticed tons of space for parties and chairs and tables. I love the glowing balls, my 3 year old son had a blast and 11 year old who was with us. People if all ages can enjoy this. The owner gave us all kinds of flashy stuff and glow bracelets, all the little things make this unique. And my three year old beat all three of us by a long shot, which was actually pretty crazy. He is amazing. Anyways, love it! I’m sure we will be back when we visit Windward Mall!

This place is awesome! I’ve only ever been there in the morning time so it’s usually not very busy when I’m there. I’m not sure if it picks up during the day but if it doesn’t, why not? There’s a fun time to be had by anyone of any age. They also are available for birthday parties.
The price is great! Even if you pay for more than 1 person, it won’t burn a hole in your wallet.
It’ll take you about an hour or so the play all 18 holes. Awesome for killing time, right? You can choose between a friendly game or a competitive game. They give you a sheet of paper with a lot of space for all the players involved. Just remember, in golf the one with the lowest score wins.
I have been there when there are other people there. It does take awhile when you have to wait. Two things you can do: 1) wait patiently (usually it’s a little kid and their parent (s) playing) or 2) hope the people in front let you go past them. If they know they’re taking long, I’m sure they’d let you go.
After all 18 holes are done you get prizes! Little lights for your finger tips in assorted colors. AND you get one every time you play. So win or lose, you still have an awesome time.
This place should be busier than it is. But at least it’s not crowded.

PROS:
–Completely air conditioned, and boy does it feel goooood!
–So inexpensive
–If you take your time and really try to play by the rules, it will take up a fun hour of your day.
–Cute date idea, social gathering, or birthday party concept.
–Next to the movie theater, so once you’re done with putting, go see a movie! Check movie times first!
–Scorecard provided, along with a glow stick bracelet.
–Really nice person who works there, seems to have fun with their job.
–You can store your backpack/​bag/​purse at the counter so it doesn’t get in the way of your competitive nature as you putt.
–Fun, loud top 40 pop music playing all the time.
CONS:
–Little kids tend to not take it slow or seriously and rush through faster than 30 minutes.
–Some people ahead of you might be slow and not let you pass them.
–Some people behind you might rush through and make you feel rushed. Just let them pass.
–The course isn’t that varied or complicated, and is mostly on flat ground.
–No drinks or food on the glow putt course.

I’ve been wanting to go here for a very long time and finally my boyfriend was willing to take the drive down to the windward side so we could go. I love mini golf, especially the one in bay view, but this one is in the dark with a light up course and glowing putts and balls. Haha. It’s awesome.
I believe it was $ 7 to go through the entire course for one adult, but I may be wrong. Before you start putting you get a light up bracelet in whatever color you choose and the putter that you want. There are different sizes to pick from depending on your height. Two other families were in front of us, but we were spaced out enough where we didn’t have to wait for them to finish. There’s one part of the course that seriously screwed me over! It’s towards the end and there are several holes with different colors. If you make it into the colored holes, you have to add to your score. So you could end up with a score of 12 or even 20 for just that one hole! It’ll mess up your score if you don’t make it in the correct hole. As we got to the last hole the guy working intervened and set a «rule». In the end, that «rule» made me the WINNER! Then we got some prizes, which were light up gadgets.

I had fun at this place this past weekend. Granted my friends and I were the oldest in there (besides parents), we still had a great time.
When you go inside, it’s about $ 7/​person for adults. The people at the front desk give you a choice of glowing bracelets and you can pick your own putter. Everything is explained to you in the beginning and they even ask you if you’d like them to hold your bags while you’re playing.
The holes are fun and so tricky! On a hole that looks easy, there are hidden bumps that make your ball go off course. So your hole in one will actually be a hole in 5 LOL. But it’s all in great fun and the 18^th hole is the best!
Everyone is rewarded with a prize in the end. It’s nothing much, but it still feels good to be awarded. :)
