Meet the Business Owner
Steve_Steph G.
Business Owner
Steve Gibson and Stephanie Nelsen-Gibson are thrilled to be the new owners and caretakers of your experience at the the Kalamazoo House. Steve and Stephanie were both born and raised in the Kalamazoo area, have very deep ties here, and are both strongly inclined toward careers of serving others. Steve credits his late parents with instilling a desire to serve others, which he has tried to live: ten years as a school board member and president; years as flight instructor and corporate pilot – including a long spell of volunteer medical missions (see and support Wings of Mercy); years as a Rotarian; and a long history of advocating for numerous humanist causes. Steph is an amazing oncology nurse and manager who loves to entertain, cook, and practice photography in her «spare» time.
