History
Established in 1986.
Tante’s dream of having a Filipino ethnic restaurant in Kona. As it gain popularity customers are requesting additional items on the menu, thereby the menu became diverse featuring both American and Continental dishes and, thanks to Hawaii’s mix of ethnic cultures, many popular or special local favorites. We like to use locally-sourced foods when possible — tropical fruits, island vegetables and of course, lots of fresh fish caught right here in the waters on the Kona Coast.

Business Owner
Born and raised in the Philippines. Have lived in Kona, Hawaii since 1968. Graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Held position as Executive Chef in Kona as well as in California.
