Taco Bell

Being a resident of Kailua I’ve frequented this establishment often. They always seem to get our order wrong in some manner. Usually its putting sour cream when we ask them not too. Sometimes its missing an item we ordered. Today was no exception but this time the boy behind the counter decide to call my wife a liar and insisted that we ordered wrong. I was there when she ordered and I know what they she said. She made the order idiot proof but our mistake was that we did not insist he repeat our order back to us. I can over look many things but to disrespect a customer the way he did he should have been fired. But instead the manager ignored us and would not listen too our complaints. Needless to say we’ll be heading to Kaneohe if we want to eat at Taco Bell which at this point is highly unlikely.

My last visit here was mediocre but it is fast food. The part of my visit that bothered me was that it was about an hour before closing but it appeared they were rationing certain ingredients so they wouldn’t have to prep or put away more. So being a rather large order we received tacos with little meat, burritos with half the usual sour cream, as well as improperly made taco salads and Mexican pizzas. I hate to give them a three star review based on this visit as I was clearly no better than a two but I felt guilty as I haven’t reviewed this location in the past and have had better experiences.
My recommendation to anyone going to this location is to go long before closing. It still won’t be a four star experience but let’s remember that it’s Taco Bell. Convenience over quality is a good way to look at it if you find yourself here.

This place suck da kine. No restroom, repulsive staff… And yes if you by food make sure you wash your hands before arriving.

The food is always good from this location but what makes it 5 star is the workers. They are always friendly and do what they can to ensure you get your food in a timely manner a few stand out among the rest two managers in particular (Tenya & Ariel) always have a smile when you walk in. This location has the best customer service I have experienced at a taco bell

The food is like pretty much any other Taco Bell’s but be warned, when traffic is bad on Oneawa, it’s a chore to get in or out of the parking lot on that side. Highly suggest using the side street entrance to the parking lot. Interestingly, there is a Pizza Hut in the corner of the parking lot so you can get regular pizzas (not just personal ones) without extra travel.

I received my order in a timely manor. The employees were somewhat nice. What I did NOT like about this place was the cleanliness. It smells like feces outside and there are straw wrappers, sauce packets, napkins and sticky mystery spots all over the store, as if it never gets cleaned. Made me question what the kitchen looks like
Also was harassed by homeless as I was leaving.

Be prepared to be sick! Not only does this place NOT have a restroom, they don’t provide a sink to wash your hands! So they must at least provide hand sanitizer right? NOPE!
When I asked the manager of I could wash my hands before eating, she handed me the industrial strength wash cloth they use to clean counters and trays.
How is this even legal?
The people that work here are nice, but the owner should be put in jail for violating food service standards. Don’t come here unless you want Nora virus to join you on your vacation!

Last time I went here I tried to pay for my meals with half cash and half on my card. (The bill was over $ 10) The cashier in training looked confused and said she didn’t know how to do it. The manager then said that they didn’t do that sort of thing. I asked: Do what sort of thing? He replied that they normally do not allow people to pay with both cash and debit card unless there is no more money left on the card. Really? You can’t be serious — that is one of the most ridiculous things I have heard.
I told him I was purchasing not only for myself but for someone else and I would pay for half of it in cash and the rest on the card. The manager (and yes, he was the manager his name tag said so,) told me that doing so would mess up their system. (And I know that is bull.) Never once have I had any fast food place not allow me to pay with cash and card. Nevertheless, they refused to do so. The person with me ended up having to pay for everything thanks to Taco Bell manager and his «system.»
When I was leaving, I told him «Sorry to have inconvenienced you.» The last time I checked, helping the customer was his job! Geeeezzz, customer service has really gone downhill.

Guilty pleasure número uno.
I am out of the foodie closet and am admitting to the Unilocal world that I LOVE Taco Bell.
The boys in the back room at Taco Bell HQ thunk hard and they thunk one up good.

All restaurants should start incorporating Doritos into more food items: cheeseburgers, ramen, Coq Au Vin, pancakes…
I only ordered one Dorito taco because there is probably undocumented research that more than one will cause serious health problems.
Staff here is actually pretty on top of it and have worked here for a while.
I was able to talk the lady into giving me more fire sauces than what is allowed.
You are living large when you can have two sauces on your taco.
Taco Bell as a chain has been through the ringer. Rumors of fake meat, consolidation of Pepsi and Pizza Hut. It’s nice they offer a winning product after all that.
The best late night munchie food on the planet!
P. S. Bring back the six pack of tacos!

This place doesn’t have the nicest seating area, but the service is better at this location, compared to other Taco Bells. They also also special order items (at a small fee) for example, we noticed the Kalua Pork Burrito on the menu and requested that meat in lieu of beef or shredded beef. No problem, it will be $.50 more. We tried the same request at Koko Marina and Ala Moana. No, sorry we can’t do it.

My experience here is mixed. Some days i swear only the total noobs are working here and it takes FOREVER to get my order… other days its quick… so its not so bad. One thing that really bugs me is that there is no bathroom. They take visa/​mastercard but no american express. Would be 3 stars, but the no amex gives it a 2 in my book.
