I absolutely hate going to the Doctor, especially the lady Doctor! My partner and I decided to have a baby and with that comes lady doctors of course. My friend recommended Dr. Stickley and said she would stay in Hawaii just to have her as her doctor while pregnant. I figured it was worth a try. She was right! Dr. Stickley is excellent and she doesn’t have that weird bedside manor that many doctors have. She’s easy to talk to and she doesn’t ever make you feel stupid. She’s friendly and genuine too.
The receptionists and nurses are so nice too. Also, I’m always seen right on time. Excellent job!!!

OBYGYN… A visit to one was NEVER on my priority list… Nor a visit to *any* doctor for that matter.
So, here’s my story…
I was born well over 2 months premature and my birth was extremely complicated. I was in an incubator and fed through tubes for some time and pretty much flirted with death for the beginning of my life from the womb. I was a miracle baby– born at 2lb. at castle hospital. God blessed my mother with Dr. Chapman as her doctor. She was brilliant, helpful and honored my mother’s wishes for everything regarding me. I’m 29 years old now and up until last month, I’d never had an obgyn appt. When I found the love of my life, I realized that I needed to make sure that I was healthy and physically in check to conceive someday.
I was concerned about my extremely irregular cycle and a few other things… I didn’t know who to go to until my mom said «Dr. Chapman– she can help you!» So I called. Made the appt. Dr. Chapman remembered my mother and my story… She’s a brilliant doctor, so you may have to wait for an appointment.
When I got there, they took a urine sample, got my stats, did a pap smear and an ultrasound and blood tests. Because of the symptoms I came in with, Dr. Chapman took the extra precautions and checked for multiple causes. I appreciated that. BTW, I am terrified of needles… like, I cry when I see one on tv and i cry and hyperventilate when I see one in person. Amber took my blood samples and, though I was afraid and probably scaring her more than the needles scared me, that was the first time I didn’t feel the pain of the needle. She was kind and patient and gentle. THANK YOU, AMBER! I know that I can seem like an immature wreck when it comes to needles and doctors, but they were all patient and gentle.
Dr. Chapman put me on BC to help regulate my cycle and when they found another irregularity, they called immediately and put me on antibiotics. I went in for a follow-​up almost 7 weeks later and though I do have polycistic ovaries, I’m now on the right track to getting my body baby-​ready/​friendly and the antibiotics cleared the infection that I had.
Just so you know… Dr. Chapman is a no-​nonsense doctor. She isn’t going to waste time on rambling and useless small talk. Her concern is your health and she does her job well. Her focus is making sure that everything is working as well as it should/​could be and if it isn’t, she searches for, tests and tackles the cause. I don’t know about you– but I’d rather have a doctor who knows what she is doing and knows how to help you best. She does that.
She saved my life twice, practically. Once at birth and now as an adult. She delivered me and I pray that she’ll help me conceive and deliver my first child one day… or twins and hopefully in the near future.

Dr. Stickley is great and the staff at Pali Women’s Health are awesome. Ample Parking and the best part is, they have valet parking now!!! The receptionist is very helpful. The staff is efficient and fast. Exiting after any doctor’s visit can be confusing at times, but the staff here at Pali Women’s Health Center know their stuff, making appts and paying are done with ease.

Dr. Chapman is an excellent doctor, the office is conveniently located and the staff is top notch. For these reasons, this review = «A-​OK»
The reason it’s not 5-​stars is: chronic lateness. Every single appointment is 45 – 60 minutes after the scheduled time.
My time is also valuable. Would it be okay if I arrived an hour late every time? Of course not.

Best birthing experience, period. The staff at Pali Women’s Health Center are professional and courteous, their unwavering devotion to supporting their patients choice to labor and deliver naturally was the best part about the time I spent at The Vera Zilber Birth Center. The entire staff of LDRP was spot on with ensuring both myself and baby were treated with the best care possible. Dr. Alison D. Moore, MD is as good as it gets people. She’s highly educated in her profession and she LISTENS to her patients. Our line of communication was flawless as we brought my child into the World. She waited patiently on me while I labored in the jacuzzi tub and when I said I was ready to push, she gently coached me through my breathing patterns and reminded me to focus. It was a beautiful experience that I will always cherish, and I recommend Dr. Alison D. Moore not only for her professionalism but for her commitment and proactive approach to natural childbirth.

I have been going to Pali Women’s Health Center for a few years. The first few times I visited, I always had a new doctor. For me, I like to deal with one doctor who is familiar with me and my medical history. I prefer to see Dr. Alisha Wallace, because she is very patient and explains in detail. She is very friendly and makes the visit a lot less intimidating. This last time I visited Pali Women’s Health Center, I saw Dr. Emilie Stickley. My first appointment with her I was asked to reschedule, because she had a class to attend to. That was totally fine with me, so I rescheduled for a week later. The day of my appointment, I called the office at 9 am to try and reschedule for another day. I was very busy at work, and did not want to run late for my appointment at 3:45 pm. The receptionist encouraged me to keep my appointment, because at the time I scheduled it, it was in urgency. I reconfirmed my appointment time for 3:45 pm, but was then told it was at 3:30 pm. On my way to my appointment I was running late, so I called out of courtesy to let them know I would be about 10 min late. The receptionist told me that was not a problem. I was at the main intersection at the light to turn into Castle Hospital when I get a call from the office. The receptionist tells me that I need to reschedule, because I am late. I tell her that I’m at the light turning into the parking lot. The doctor agrees to see me, so I rush into the office. The nurse attempts to take my vitals, but Dr. Stickley looks at both me and the nurse and says…“No vitals, she’s 10 minutes late.” I could already tell she had an attitude at the time and it wasn’t going to be a very pleasant visit. I go into the exam room and Dr. Stickley comes in and says…“Why are you here? What do you need?” To me that showed absolutely no professionalism at all and I was completely uncomfortable and upset. I wanted to leave immediately. I told her that I didn’t know I was going to be examed, I thought it was just an appointment for blood work, that’s it. It was the quickest appointment I have ever been too and I felt so totally uncomfortable and did not receive the care and attention a patient should get. Even the nurse apologized for the doctor’s actions and told me that some days she doesn’t have anyone to pick up her kids so she gets irritated when she has to leave late. I totally understand that, but the doctor should remember that her job is take care of people and provide professional medical attention. She signed up for this and it’s not my problem she didn’t have anyone to pick up her kids. She should also remember that I was more than accommodating to reschedule my appointment the first time! Anyway, if you do go to Pali Women’s Health Center, I would recommend Dr. Alisha Wallace.

I have been going to this clinic for my annual exam for quite some years now and have been generally pleased with the service I received here over the years. This was up until last year, which is when my satisfaction with this clinic & their staff grew even greater.
I was pregnant & began having some complications. Dr. Allison Moore, at Pali Women immediately saw the red flags and took all necessary precautions needed & had my and my baby’s health in her best interest. She was there for me for my every question, need, & concern. She has compassion in what she does. When she had to deliver some rough news to me about my baby, she was there to comfort me as I broke down and cried. Not like some other doctors who would just see you as another patient & couldn’t care any less. Now that I am pregnant again, there was no question about which doctor I would have caring for me again, but Dr. Moore.
I also love the girls who work the front desk. Henna, Sarah, & Gina are always so welcoming and friendly. They are always ready to help and show a genuine care to help in any way possible.
The medical assistants, are always so friendly also.
I highly recommend this clinic to any female who is looking for outstanding customer service.

Horrible patient care and horrible follow through from both the staff and the physicians. Definitely changing providers!

I switched to Pali Women’s Health in December of 2013 due to what I felt was a lack of interest with a previous OBGYN. I was recommended by 2 friends to Pali and I was not disappointed.
I’ve seen every doctor/​midwife/​physicians assistant at the clinic and they are all great. Alisha Wallace handled my care before I was pregnant and she’s wonderful! Very caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Moore handled most of my care after I became pregnant and delivered my baby and she rocks! She’s very direct and no nonsense but also caring which I found comforting. Unfortunately you don’t get to pick who delivers your baby but I feel confident in all of the doctor’s & midwife :)
The office staff is great! The front desk girls are so friendly, helpful and caring. The medical staff is just as wonderful. Christy is awesome!

I loved how welcoming everyone is when I first checked in. I was schedule with Dr. Chapman and if you want a nob personable dr then she’s the one. I went there with lots of concerns and questions and felt very rushed by her and did not get a lot of help or advice. Thumbs up to everything else!

I see Dr. Stickley for my prenatal appts and so far she and the staff have been wonderful. No complaints and she is always willing to answer all the silly questions I have. Never feel rushed. I usually make my appts for mid morning to early afternoon and I have never had to wait more than 5 min to see her.

Let me just say, one of my biggest fears moving to Hawaii was finding a good gynecologist. I found this place using Google and honestly it was their nice website that drew me in (haha). The moment I walked in I felt so welcome by the lady at the desk (wish I could remember her name) but she was so genuinely nice, helpful, and polite.
The medical assistant took me back and she was so sweet. She took my weight, asked me about my medical history and was just really pleasant to be around. I’ve been to many doctor offices where the people helping me seem like robots and made me feel uncomfortable so this was a great relief to me.
The doctor I saw was Dr. Stickley who was amazing. I know doctors are always busy but this doctor truly didn’t make me feel rushed during my appointment and seemed to really care about all my concerns. She made me feel really comfortable and was very informative. I’m so happy I found this doctor and recommend her if you’re looking for one.

I feel that Dr. Chapman and Alicia are excellent doctors. If you see anyone else all you will get is a headache. Also Lisa the office manager is very helpful.

I love this place. All the front desk staff are very friendly, I had Dr. chapman my first visit, very nice and professional, I called about having bad back pain and they wanted me to come in to make sure everything was okay, and it was. Then I had Dr. Moore, she was also very friendly, my husband is in the military and hasn’t been able to make it to any doctors apt due to being in the field but he was able to come to that one. they were only going to listen to the heartbeat but I asked since he hadn’t ben able to see the baby or come to the apts, and wouldn’t be there for the next few, could we do a ultrasound and they did no problems. They really go out of their way to help you out and make you happy!

If you want a doctor who take’s her job seriously and is direct and to the point, Dr. Chapman, is where it’s at!
I love the new office staff at this office as well! They are super thoughtful and sweet. The perfect example of what I’m saying took place at the office on Saturday morning. Mahala (spelling?) and Kim have been collecting basic needs like baby clothing, wipes, diapers. baby bouncers, toys and even food and so much more for some of the patients who literally have nothing.
Their new phone system is OK. I still feel like it’s hard to get a hold of them for questions, but the physician’s exchange works to reach them perfectly if I can’t reach them there. And seriously, they are still better at answering phones than the last group of staff who worked there so I understand they may be busy and overwhelmed still with learning the in’s and out’s of this office.
Anyways, I’ve seen Dr. Moore as well and she is nice. Dr. Stickley (?) — I usually talk to her on the phone at the physician’s exchange, but I appreciate her so much for putting my mind at ease when a different physician at a walk in clinic over the week-​end freaked me out about my pregnancy. amongst other times I have talked to her. She communicates everything very effectively and with hope, which in my opinion is just what a pregnant woman usually needs.
I often see Alisha Wallace as well, and she is really sweet to me and does all she can to answer all of my questions. Basically, everyone here rocks! You can’t go wrong :)

I found Pali Women’s Health Center when I was 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant, after my regular OB left town at the last minute. Gina at the front desk went above and beyond the call of duty to help get my records sent over and Dr. Chapman was able to see me the same day. I went into labor two days later and delivered at Castle’s birth center. Dr. Chapman was extremely professional and also compassionate. I know some other reviews comment on her bedside manner; from my experience, she was exactly what I wanted – she didn’t waste my time, she was incredibly knowledgeable, and she keyed right in on my true concerns.
Tina Doyle, C.N.M. (also from Pali Women’s) was on duty when I delivered and I could not have asked for a more wonderful medical professional to support me. Our baby had the cord around his neck 3 times and she was the definition of professionalism and grace. She was completely supportive of my natural birth and stayed in the room to talk to us while I was laboring – generous with her time and an excellent, compassionate, and patient care provider.
Wonderful and looking forward to a repeat experience with our next baby!

I highly recommend Pali Women’s Health Care Center. Dr Susan Chapman is one of the most pro active doctors I have ever worked with. On the two occasions I have had a concern with my health she ran the extra tests I needed to put my mind at rest. And because the office has all of the latest technology and services I didn’t even have to reschedule for an appointment. She just whisked me off on the spot and took care of the tests I needed. I walked out of there with peace of mind and didn’t have to wait a week or more for follow up tests.

I’m a fan of everyone here except Dr.Chapman.She is cold, she doesn’t ask questions, doesn’t seem to care that another human is in the room. She rudely answers her phone in the middle of appointments without asking if it is ok to (not very professional).I would personally not recommend her. She always seems to be running late;one time I waited at least 40 minutes in one of cold, dismal exam rooms. I’m NOT sorry, you don’t treat your patients like that!
Alisha Wallace is wonderful, caring, informed, truly concerned about her patients and their needs. Go to her !

This Health Center has it all: up-​to-​date equipment all in the office; friendly staff who remember you even after a 6 month break; and an incredible Physician Assistant who takes care of me.
My PA is Alisha Wallace and she is one incredible woman. I’m a complicated case but she never makes me feel rushed or a burden. She is personable and really cares for her patients. I’ve been with her for about a decade now. She works well with other physicians (in State or out-​of-​State) and listens to the little details. She got a soft touch compared to others I’ve dealt with in the past. ;-)

I’ve been going to Pali Women’s Health since they were in Aikahi. They are good, but busy. So be prepared to wait awhile — especially once you get in the room.
Also, they have messed up my billing twice — so double check your bills before you pay.
Other than that — I like the staff and the doctors.
