We just had an awesome trip with the cayacks today! Snorkeling and cliff diving was great and we had the best guide!
Take definately suncream and water resistant camera with you!

Went kayaking today and had a blast! Devon, our guide, was nice, informative and patient. One of the best activities I did on the island! Highly recommend!!!

This tour was one of our favorites during our stay on The Big Island. Nate was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. He took us to his favorite cliff jumping area as well as multiple caves.
The first cliff jump was pretty scary. We swam to the area and Nate helped us climb up the cliff. He timed the waves for us and counted down for the scary jump. I was so glad we did it. We even jumped a few more times at the snack spot where we snorkeled. We met Nate’s eel friend and saw multiple groups of dolphins. Nate even found our waterproof camera that fell off of the kayak!
We finished the tour hungry and exhausted and our cameras filled with so many great pictures. Our tour couldn’t have been better.

Very fun activity to do in Kona on a nice day. Thankfully we got to see a sea cave even though it was kind of rough out. It’s quite a paddle and I was exhausted on the way back. Be prepared to paddle over a mile and please please please wear sunscreen and a hat. The «lunch» wasn’t all that fantastic and didn’t nourish me from the workout. Next time I would bring a waterproof sandwich, more water, sunscreen and shoes to walk on the lava. I didn’t get to cliff jump because my feet hurt walking on the lava rocks. Our tour guide was fun and adorable. We got to see dolphins too! They swam right next to my kayak:)

What a blast!
We were staying a couple of blocks away and decided to give these guys a try.
They were top notch.
Nate, our guide, is a true waterman. When he is not doing the tours, he is surfing, fishing, or diving.
Everyone was extremely friendly and enthusiastic and fun to be around.
They took us to a cave and a secluded, tiny bay to snorkel in and cliff dive from.
I am afraid of heights, but after watching everyone else jump, I did and it was a blast.
We got a great running commentary on all of sites, the sea, Tiger Woods’s house, etc.
They even took us to a tide pool and hand fed a moray eel. Crazy cool.
It is a good workout and a great time.
You will not regret the tour, and the guides and gear are as good as it gets.

My husband and I rented a sea kayak from here during our stay in Kona and were highly pleased. The man who dealt with us was really friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the area. It is also a lot cheaper than the other companies around. Online it says $ 40 a day rental, but they tried to charge $ 45 and we told them about the online offer so they took that. On here it says they close at 5pm, but they actually closed at 3pm

We had a great experience with this group even on a day when the weather turned on us and restricted our outing from a long day out to less than an hour before we had to call it quits. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Angus helped us get started with a short lesson & helped us get launched. Its a van parked in the boat launch where you rent from. Fun & easy, convenient location & kind service. We had a blast!

A nice laid back operation.
We rented a couple of kayaks for the morning and were treated very friendly and warmly by the «Van guy» (I failed to get his name: p).
The price was right at $ 25 a kayak. We spent a couple of hours toodeling about the Keauhou Bay and south along the coast by the Sharaton. I got out and did some snorkeling, while the husband paddled 2 kayaks around (his was properly equipped with a tow line).
Some notes: the kayaks are well used, so make sure your seat back is well adjusted and attached (I ended up using my float vest for added back support because my back rest sucked). Another note: they roll up at 3pm, so get there early.

Noni was a dope guide. My entire experience was lit. The check in was lit. The orientation was lit. The kayaking was lit. The snorkling was lit. The cave was lit. The cliff jumping was lit. And the juice was lit. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend.

This was my 2^nd time on the kayak tour with this company. It’s always my favorite part of Hawai’i. Guided kayak tour, snorkeling, cliff jumping, and a picnic. We saw lots of awesome nature, got some history background info, and even saw dolphins up close. Devin was so great and helped me climb the rocks to conquer the cliff jump. Be sure to wear sunscreen, water shoes or sandals, and sunglasses. Don’t miss this place!

Devin and Cayla were really knowledgable about the Keauhou Bay and its history. We had a couple that was physically unable to handle the kayaking basics and the guides handled them with utmost professionalism. We got to cliff-​jump and get a lot of snorkeling in.
Devin explained the various rock formations along the coast and how they created different sprays and breaks.
My wife got sea-​sick and they were very accommodating about getting her docked and onto dry land first. Very cool people. Highly recommended.

We had a great trip with Nani. She was an excellent guide and ambassador for the Island. After our safety brief on land, we paddled out in the harbor where she gave us some instructions on how to get in and out of the kayak. On all of the kayak tours I’ve been on, none of my guides have ever been so thorough in their instructions.
We paddled out to Coral Gardens where we snorkeled and had some snacks. Nani provided us with some of the local history of the area. It was quite informative. The trip back was very pleasant with the wind at our backs helping to push us along.

I must say. This company deserves even higher than the five star rating.
The hardest part was finding out where to go. Once we had made our reservations we got an email recommending where to park and go so we had a general idea. I’d recommend punching the Sheraton into your GPS and not the company. Then we walked down to the docks and we were greeted by one of the lady’s who works for the company. We got a nice introduction on land and were able to lock up our valuables.
The kayaks came pre equipped with life vests (optional) and bottled water. I was in a single kayak because we were a group of three and I’ll admit I fell over a few times. But the guides quickly jumped into the water to help me into my kayak and collect anything that may have fallen out. The guides are also amazing free divers and can normally collect sunglasses if they fall.
Sadly we didn’t get to go in the sea cave because of the conditions but we still got to do the cliff jumping and wonderful snorkeling. They provided fresh pineapple and other snacks as well.
This company is amazing in the little things they do to make your trip amazing. If you’ve never been in a kayak before or are some sort of kayak God. You’ll have a great time.
I’d recommend to wear and bring extra sun screen along with cash for tipping. It’s not expected but you want to tip.

My wife and I had a wonderful kayaking experience! Our guides Nani and Steve were very friendly and professional in keeping us safe and offering easy instructions for all the kayaking activities. We lucked out and ran into a group of dolphins along the Keahou coast! After paddling for about an hour we reached a snorkeling spot where we saw reef fish and were provided snacks and drinks.
The trip we took was around 4 hours from start to finish. A lot of that time is spent paddling so definitely be prepared for a work out. That said the guides are always in front and back of the group and everyone is free to paddle at their own pace.
The sea caves are scattered along the coast and due to the water conditions we were only able to see them from a short distance. That wasn’t an issue as the surprise dolphins, snorkeling with fish and just being out on the water was a beautiful experience.
All in all we can’t recommend Ocean Safaris Kayak Adventures enough and will definitely go again with friends!

My husband had a fantastic time on the Keauhou Kayak Tour. The snorkeling was great, there was an opportunity for cliff diving (although I was too chicken), and we kayaked alongside spinner dolphins! It was such a treat.
The tour guides were awesome! They were accommodating to the group’s varying skill levels. They teach you how to effectively kayak in a 2-​person kayak and warn you that you will get frustrated with your partner and that is normal. Our tour guide really made our time great — and I could tell she worked hard to do so.

Kyle and Tori were awesome! It really felt like we went out with two good friends who knew everything about the history, the land, animals, and sea life. The weather could not have been better, the water was clear and beautiful, and cliff jumping is a blast! We would definitely go again and recommend to all our friends. Thanks again Kyle and Tori!!!

Our trip the ocean was angry that day my friend, huge swells, the blowholes @ Kuamoo bay launched freaking geysers at least a hundred feet in the air; utterly spectacular. But that meant sadly for us, no cliff exploration or cliff jumping.
We did get to circle up the wagons and go snorkeling, beautiful spot.
Price was right
Wish I had worn a wide-​brimmed hat like our guides.

The manta ray night dive should definitely be on everyone’s bucket list! Hands down one of the most memorable experiences in my life!
Angus took us out at sunset and we met up with a ton of other boats. Once it was dark, we jumped in the water and held onto a small looking surfboard with a huge LED light shinning down into the water. Apparently, the bright light tricks the plankton into thinking it’s daylight and rises to the surface. After we turned the light on, a HUGE manta ray swooped under our board to feed on the plankton. It was absolutely breathtaking to be that up-​close and personal!
The only downside has to be kayaking back to shore when you’re done! I was exhausted!
On a separate day we also took the sea cave tour, which was also amazing! The guides take you to all these hidden spots and you anchor during part of the tour to snorkel and cliff dive! On our way to the caves, a pod of dolphins blew past us! Absolutely incredible!
