Dixson 76 we are a full service station. We also have a small snack shop.

We perform routine servicing and scheduled maintenance in addition to brake service tune ups, steering and suspension repairs. Computer diagnostics is also available.

History

Established in 2001.

This service station is one of the oldest on the Big island. The site is located at the corner of Kuakini highway and Hualalai road and has been there since the 1950’s. We proudly sell 76 branded gasoline and diesel fuel and offer a variety of services.

We are one of the last Service stations on the big island and the last in the Kailua-​Kona town.

it’s been a year now that we have been going to Dixon 76. bob and the staff remain as awesome as they were on the first day. my daughter goes there too. honest, friendly, quick, and they do a good job. they make getting your car worked on as easy as it can possibly be.

I’ve been using Bob and Mike for about four years for all my service requirements on my 2010 Tacoma. I used Mike to replace the leaf springs when one of them cracked. I’ve found them to be helpful and mostly friendly. Bob is the owner. Mike is the lead mechanic. I will use them again in the future and have no problems recommending them to anyone with service and repair requirements. The biggest problem is that everyone else in town uses them too, so don’t expect to «drop in» and be taken care of. They’re usually booked several days in advance.

Have had several different repairs over the last 6 years. I have always received excellent customer care, and they stand by their work. Perhaps the bad reviews are to help keep this gem a secret? When I asked local friends, they all said they take their cars to Dixson 76 for repairs!

i have found Bob and the staff at Dixson 76 to be the extremely knowledegable, and helpful service people. They even diagnosed my problems for free, unheard of in today’s world where you get charged for everything. Buy gas and get repairs here with confidence. They are great people to deal with.

Used these folks for a safety check for vehicle registration. Normally have to make an appt. and leave rig for at least an hour. They completed it and I was on my way in twenty minutes. $ 15. Mike and Bob very friendly and helpful. Mahalo guys.

This business charged a $ 25 surcharge to use a credit card, without telling me. While it is not against the law in this state, it is definitely against the Visa/​MC merchant agreement. When I politely asked for a refund of this surcharge, I got yelled at. I am wondering about my next step here. So tired of jerks.
