Our friend passed away while we were vacationing in Kona from the mainland. The hospital coordinator recommended this funeral home as they have experience transporting back to the mainland. They definitely knew what they were doing, however, there was a definite lack of sympathy and sensitivity of the people that we delt with (Penny and Connie). Penny and Connie were very competent in the arrangements, but a little bit more empathy would have been greatly appreciated. Their only concern was being paid. Maybe they have had trouble getting payment in the past, but there are ways to discuss those things in a professional yet sympathetic manner.
