I just left my eyebrow threading appointment with Juvy. This was my first time with threading (I’ve been getting my eyebrows waxed for years) and Juvy talked me through every step and made me comfortable and relaxed. I will definitely be coming back!

I visited Juvy at the beginning of the month and am still raving about my experience! I really needed my eyebrows done while I was home on Maui. I grew up on Maui, but work in NYC. I’ve gotten my eyebrows done here in the city, but most of the times, service is rushed and just okay. I was excited to visit Juvy because one of her clients highly recommended her to me.
I went in just to get my eyebrows threaded but I got much more out of it. First of all, the room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Juvy did a great job on my brows and also showed me how to take care of them. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but I do like to look polished. Juvy gave me a tutorial on my brows, and showed me how to really enhance my brows while keeping a very natural look. I left the appointment looking and feeling great — I practically had a makeover!
While Juvy was working on my brows, I also asked for some makeup tips. She was more than happy to go through her recommendations not only on different makeup products that I asked about, but also how to apply it. She didn’t rush me out and was more than happy to answer all of my questions (I had a lot!). The most amazing thing to me was when I asked her about acne treatments. She literally looked at my face for 30 seconds, and was able to describe exactly what type of breakouts I get without any hints from me.
Since returning to NYC for work, I’ve received so many compliments on my brows! Juvy is a caring and genuine person who is very thorough — I highly recommend her to anyone lucky enough to be on Maui. Some spas and salons will charge you a lot for low quality work, but with Juvy, you are getting more than your money’s worth.

I love coming here to get my eye brows waxed. Juvy is the only person I trust touching my brows. She tries her best to fit you into her busy schedule for last minute appointments. Juvy is very talented. I recommend her to everyone. Place is very clean and sanitary.

Juvy is super talented and caring. I always see Juvy to wax my eyebrows! She’s exceptional at what she does, and she gives me really awesome tips on how I should maintain my brows. On top of that she holds a ton of knowledge about the work she does. From the moment you step into the spa to the moment you walk out from your session with her, is complete comfort and bliss. You definitely won’t regret trying her out if you haven’t yet, because ever since I went to Juvy to do my brows, I haven’t found anyone I liked better!

I always go to Juvy for my threading. But this time I went for waxing. She knew how nervous I was cause it was my first time. And she talked me through the whole process. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. I tell all my family and friends about her services and how great she is.

I’m new to maui and I found Juvy through Unilocal and she is very friendly and knowledgeable. I came to get threading from her and I love how she wants to keep brows natural. She gives good advice and helped fix my brows up because it was a mess.
*there is some what a limit of cars that can fit in the parking lot but there is street parking as well
*the place is nicely decorated and clean/​sanitary, nice view
*you can book online and you can text her if you have any questions
*the place isn’t really that hard to find

Juvy is amazing! Not only is she a skilled aesthetician, but she is an informative educator, calling on her vast knowledge in all things skin to school me in all the things I should and should not be doing with my own dermis:) I’m so grateful she was able to book me into her busy schedule at such a last minute… and she’s so busy because she’s that good!

I absolutely love Skincare Maui! Before moving to California, I used to see Juvy regularly, mostly for brows and Brazillians. She always did a great job — very professional and always made me feel very comfortable. The first time I had my brows done with her, she took her time with them and corrected them so that they were shaped and matched to perfection. I’ve gotten a ton of brow compliments since! I’ve also gotten massage/​facial services done with Juvy, and I always left feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated.
I also use some of the professional skincare products that Juvy carries. The cleansers I personally love are Rhonda Allison Citrus Gel Cleanser and Osmosis Purify. I also use Osmosis Calm serum and Osmosis Facial Conditioner. Because these scientifically/​medically driven products are free from harsh chemicals, they are great for my sensitive skin!
On top of being an amazing esthetician and massage therapist, Juvy is also very caring, personable, and such a joy to talk to. She will certainly be hard to replace now that I am living in California.
